As he gasped for air, he shifted back, trying to scratch his neck free. He would not die this way! The creature laughed until two blurs from the bushes erupted through! In a flash one was hanging from his arm and the other on his back! The one on his arm had clamped on his flesh and it felt like it was on fire! It clamped down harder and he felt his bones break! He roared in pain and anger as other clamped on his shoulder. The pain was unlike anything he had ever felt before! He flung his arm around widely, releasing the young alpha in the process. He grabbed the wolf hanging from his arm and threw it away from him before doing the same to one on his back. The two wolves stood there growling as they circled him, looking for an opening. He growled as he kicked the one on his leg, flinging it away from him. The black one jumped again aiming for his throat! He ducked and swatted it away too. He would have to finish this quickly and retreat, he was in no position to deal with this now! He looked at his arm again, still not completely healed! What was going on?! Wait... one of werewolves' greatest weaknesses is silver... and he was partly wolf now. A miscalculation! ~~~ We felt Holly and Bill’s aura flare out fully before we turned towards where they were. As their desperate links came through, we ran even faster. I smelled my brother’s blood before we hit the clearing and I had to stop myself from checking on him from the pile of wood he was half buried in. As I watched Holly get backhanded into a tree my anger exploded! In front of me my mate shifted and slashed with her sword! The creature saw her coming and reached up to block with a bloody arm before it was gone!!! He screamed in pain and looked shocked at his severed extremity! My mate didn’t even pause before she turned and started to attack again! But this time he was dodging everything she was doing! Gliding around the clearing and starting to attack back! From the wood pile my brother groaned, and Bill ran over to him. A whiff of my mate’s blood hit my nose and brought me back to the fight, he gashed her arm! I growled and jumped on its back! NO ONE TOUCHES MY MATE!!! Anger and protectiveness flood my senses and I nearly lose it! *Stop! Focus!!!* A familiar voice brings me back to reality as I feel myself getting thrown. My mate glanced at me, and I nodded as I started to use a few of the techniques she taught me, and he started to lash out at me also! But every time he looked towards me, she ended up slashing him and he growled in frustration! A shadow from behind me almost made me turn, and Holly was back in the fight! Now she was engaged with a female who was trying to escape! OH, SHIT IT’S MONICA!!! Monica picked up a huge piece of wood from the destroyed house and hit Holly in her gashed leg making her wolf yelp in pain before starting to laugh maniacally. “Hurry up and kill them, MATE so we can-” Her words were cut off as she looked horrified at the wooden stake sticking out of her chest. Behind her my brother Chris growled he drove the wood even further. “It's time for KICKOFF, BITCH!!!” He smiled as he grabbed the back of her neck and snapped it, ripping her head from her body and drop kicking it. The next part happened so fast... the creature roared in pain and fury.... my mate screaming at me to get back... the attack coming straight for me... The feeling of getting knocked back as I looked on in horror as my mate took the full brunt of the punch that send her flying... Her body landing in a heap and not moving...
