Jade's POV

"What?" I blurted in disbelief.

But I couldn't help but feel hot at the mention of a spanking from them.

Just what exactly is wrong with me?

I hate these boys. I should hate them.

So why the hell am I finding my bullies attractive?

Why am I drawn to them?

Why do every word to say seem to light a fire inside me?

"Unless you want those ass cheeks to suffer for your misdeeds, you'd better get to cleaning cause we definitely won't take too much time to come back here and inspect all of this place." Ronan said with a smirk and they walked off without sparing me a glance again.

But too bad my wolf is still yet to be awakened. But that will change in about two days, on my 18th birthday.

I took a deep breath and walked towards the Janitor's closet, I guess instead of attending classes like everyone else, I am on cleaning duty for the rest of the day.

I got the brush, mop stick and bucket from there and I began to sweep.

The hall was large and it took me what felt like hours to finally finish sweeping it.

I was sweating and panting but I knew I had to get to mopping. The triplets will be back anytime soon and in as much as the thought of being spanked in the ass by them shamefully excited me, I am not about to embarrass myself like that.

So I cleaned my sweat with the hem of my blazers, grabbed the bucket, filled it with water and soap and I began mop. Almost half way through the mopping, I wanted to add more soap so I turned to get it from the closet.

But as I walked nonchalantly, I slipped on the wet floor, hitting my head and before I could even scream, everything immediately went blank.....

I felt a sudden coldness around me and I lazily opened my eyes. My head was throbbing so bad like it was split open and my sight was hazy. But I could see three figures standing around me, looking down at me.

Where am I?

I tried to sit up but I winced from the splitting pain that ran through my skull.

That was when I remembered, the punishment, I was mopping the floor, then I fell and hit my head.

I looked up and my sight finally came into focus, Ronan, Ryder, and Renzo, they were the ones standing beside me, looking down at me, their faces filled with disgust.

"You failed" Ronan stated, he sounded like he wanted to spit on my face.

"You are pathetic." Ryder blurted, slightly shaking his head.

"Now, you must be punished." Renzo stated and I quickly pushed myself up and stood.

"No, I would've finished up the cleaning before your arrival, it's just that I fell on the wet floor and...." My words trailed off when Ronan moved a step closer to me looking really furious.

"Enough of your fake tale, you chronic liar" He stated, voice dripping with disgust.

"Chronic liar? When have I ever....." Before I could finish, the school bell rang loudly indicating the end of school hours.

Ronan sighed and took a step back and Renzo stepped forward.

"Come to our room at home tonight" Renzo commanded.

"To get your punishment." Ronan completed.

"Just a word of advice though" Ryder said as he moved closer amd grabbed my face rough.

"If you don't do as we say and you keep getting on our nerves, your mother might just be the one to bear the brunt for your actions when we get home" Ryder stated and the coldness in his voice as he spoke made me realize that he wasn't bluffing.

My Mum gave everything for me to still be able to live the best life I could get as the daughter of a traitor. I am supposed to be working as a servant with her but she happily pleaded to be allowed to do twice the normal work she's supposed to do just so I'll be able to continue going to school.

My Mum serves the Alpha's family. She serves this triplets. So punishing her because of me would be a very easy thing for them.

I knew I had no choice. My Mum is all I have and I will do anything to protect her. Anything.

"I'll be there." I uttered.

"You better" Renzo stated.

“Try anything stupid, and your mother pays for it.” Ronan added.

My stomach twisted.

I exhaled a shaky breath. “I said I'll be there."

Ryder smirked. “Good girl.”

With that, the three walts off together.

I remained there for a while, just standing and staring into the empty space, a tear threatening to fall.

But I immediately remembered Mum, I had promised her I'll be strong.

So I left the hall acting like nothing had happened. Acting like my head wasn't still aching badly from the fall.

I went back home first, and Mum was still not back.

I removed my uniform and took a cold bath before changing into one of the few casual gowns I still had, though it looked pretty old now.

I looked at myself in the mirror and I tried to tie my hair up into a bun.

But I immediately decided against that.

Putting it on a bun means all of my face will be exposed. I prefer letting it down, the hair covering my face, giving me some little privacy so I can sometimes avoid instant recognition from people.

What about a little lipstick to look pretty?

I immediately slapped myself mentally for that thought.

Why am I trying to look pretty for them?

Why am I excited to be going to their room?

I'm supposed to hate them as much as they hate me!

I tried to steady my racing heart and I walked off.

But with each step I took, I could still feel the ache in my hand, it was still there, and it was not stopping. Did my head get injured from the fall?

I decided to just ignore it for now. So I endured the pain and continued walking.

I approached their huge building in the large estate and I walked fast. Not because I’m eager to get there but because, I couldn't afford my Mum bumping into me going into their room.

When I reach the luxurious mansion, the guards don’t bother hiding their sneers at me. They let me pass only because the heirs told me to come. If it were up to them, I’d be turned to ash already.

I keep my head down and move quietly toward the west wing, where the triplets’ rooms are.

My heart is pounding. I hate that.

I knocked once and pushed the door and immediately a sick twist grips my stomach.
