Chapter 2 Arranged Marriage

Misty

I left the mansion still not able to believe that I actually didn't leave, but what choice do I have. I flew heading to pixie Valley. I flew above pixie houses until I reached a large castle. "Finally home." I muttered to myself but it hasn't felt like home in a long time. As I land and walk in I see my parents, little sister, and of course my fiance Oak.

"How was art class?" My mother Lilly asked me. She was a sturn woman always had to do things by the book, like my engagement.

"It was good. We didn't paint today just getting to know each other." I told my parents that I was taking an art class because if they knew that I was trying to throw away my royal title just because I don't want to marry Oak who knows what would happen.

"Hey sis I missed you. While you were gone Oak stopped by and was looking for you." My little sister Dew Drop said, she's 28 years old but pixies age slower then humans so to a human she would resemble a 4 year old.

"Thank you for telling me little honey dew." She giggled and ran off to play. "I'm tired I think I'm gonna head off to my room for some rest."

"You're not even going to say hi to your fiancé?" I rolled my eyes at that voice.

"Hi Oak. There happy?"

"Come on baby I know you don't want to marry me but you can at least pretend to tolerate me."

"You had my boyfriend sentenced to death for dating me before we were even engaged."

"I don't like other men near whats mine."

"I wasn't even yours and I'm still not."

"You will be when I bend you over and claim you our wedding night."

"Okay you two save it for the honey moon." My dad stepped in "Oak quit harassing my daughter in my presence and Misty at least be nice to Oak." I glared at Oak before turning to head to my room.

As I continued walking down the halls I feel someone grabbed my hair stopping me in my tracks.

"I know you're not going to art class. Tell me who he is and I'll make his death painless." Oak whispered in my ear.

"Let go of my hair."

"I will when you tell me who he is. I won't let someone ruin your purity until I get to."

"You're insane!" I hissed "I'm not seeing anyone, and you're right I'm not taking art class I'm trying to learn some of the culture of our allies before I become queen."

"If that's true then why say art class?"

"I wanted to not have my parents breathing down my neck. You know how they get when it comes to me being queen." He finally let go of my hair.

"If you say so my love" he then smiled a wicked smile "but if I find out that their is another man he'll suffer the same fate as that one boyfriend Rain"

Hearing his name made me feel a saddening pain in my heart. "I won't make that mistake again."

"Good girl" he said patting my head before turning around.

I continued to my room and opened the door. I sat on my bed and pulled out the paper from my bag and remembered who I was arranged to marry so I could use it to push me into filling out the paper. Did I want to become a thrall? No, but anything had to be better then marrying Oak.
