Chapter 7
Three people gathered around to take a look. The campus Twitter was absolutely ablaze with reactions. It was a photo that had been blurred out; all that could be seen was a rented house, with two naked men and women trying to cover their bodies. Below that were various mocking memes, one after another.
“Strange, this girl looks familiar. Is she Eileen Ford?”
Hiss!
The three of them turned their heads in disdain toward Reg Butler, who was already aware of that news.
However, compared to the reactions of the three others, Reg Butler remained much more calm.
“Lao Si, don’t be too angry. That woman isn’t any good. Since her photos were posted online, at least people got their revenge!”
“Yeah, now Eileen Ford can’t hold her head up in the entire campus!”
“Actually, I’m not that sad either!”
For some reason, Reg Butler couldn’t remember much about Eileen Ford anymore. He also couldn’t recall much of what had happened between them in the past.
“Most likely, it was just my own one-sided feelings during my time with Eileen Ford.”
A bitter smile appeared on Reg Butler’s lips.
“Hey, where did that Twitter message go?”
“Deep Sea University’s First Goddess Night Party: One Man…”
“Wow, our goddess is dating a guy?”
Just then, explosions were heard again from the direction of the three people. Even Reg Butler couldn’t stay still anymore.
“What’s going on? Our goddess!”
The three people cried, because the photo in the Twitter news was of Jacqueline David herself.
Standing beside her was a boy whose face couldn’t be seen. All that could be seen was one greasy hand tightly wrapped around Jacqueline David’s waist.
“Damn it, the most popular girl at Deep Sea University actually has a boyfriend now!”
From the very first day they entered university, the three of them made it their top priority to win over the goddess Jacqueline David. Now, seeing their beloved goddess being hugged by a strange man felt like the end of the world to them.
“Don’t let me find out who it is. If I find out that man’s identity, I’ll definitely give him a proper lesson!”
The boss said through gritted teeth.
“Don’t get excited yet. There’s more news: it seems that guy’s identity has been revealed!”
Just then, the second brother’s voice was heard, and the three of them leaned back over the computer screen again.
A photo that seemed somewhat rough at first gradually became clearer, but only when the profile of the person holding Jacqueline David’s waist became visible.
The three of them were completely stunned.
“Isn’t that our fourth son?”
“Beasts!”
“Lao Si, if you’ve got the guts, let’s have a one-on-one fight!”
All three of them felt like they were going to die of shame. They never expected that during their three years of school together, it turned out that Lao Si had stolen every guy’s heart at school.

Reg Butler wasn’t sure what was going on. He got out of bed and glanced at the computer screen. After a while, he couldn’t help but laugh.
“It’s obvious that was written on purpose to make things seem messy. In reality, I just happened to meet Jacqueline David and did her a little favor.”
“Stop talking, Lao Si. Don’t try to explain anything. Just let us cry our hearts out!”
To their surprise, the three of them completely ignored Reg Butler’s explanations and continued to cry their hearts out.
“Never mind, you won’t understand anyway!”
Reg Butler was really upset. It was just a small misunderstanding. What’s the big deal?
“Plop!”
Just then, all three of them suddenly knelt down on the ground, hugging Reg Butler’s thighs tightly, while looking at him with extremely sincere eyes.
“Fourth brother, your older brothers have been good to you all these years. Now’s not the time for you to act on your own. Please share with us some tips on how to pick up girls!”
“That’s right! You don’t need to explain things in too much detail. Just tell us how we can get out of that single status!”
“How did you manage to get Jacqueline David to go out with you?”
“This… I’ve already said it all. It’s all a misunderstanding!”
While talking, Reg Butler went straight to bed.
“You must tell me how to communicate with the goddess so that she’ll be attracted to me!”
“Yes, that’s right. Otherwise, you won’t get to sleep at all!”
Looking at the fierce expressions of the three men, Reg Butler shook his head helplessly.
“Gentlemen, have I ever deceived any of you before?”
“No!”
All three of them shook their heads in unison.
“Do you believe me then?”
“Trust!”
“Well, since that’s the case, tomorrow when I’m having dinner with Jacqueline David, I’ll ask her how to communicate with goddesses properly!”
After saying that, Reg Butler ignored the three of them and went straight to bed to sleep.
Looking at the three people again, they had already passed out from crying on the ground.
“Reg Butler, you’re nothing but a beast! And you still have the nerve to say you didn’t try to seduce our goddesses!”

The next morning, Reg Butler carefully picked out a very clean shirt and sprayed a little perfume on himself before going out.
The Haitian Hotel was right across from the university. Reg Butler easily found the table, thanks to the message sent by Jacqueline David.

She wore a wine-red dress with a deep V-neck. Her fair skin seemed delicate and flawless. Her figure was simply impeccable.
In one word: beautiful!

“What are you standing around for? Come and sit down quickly!”
Jacqueline David waved at Reg Butler, appearing much more familiar with him than Reg Butler seemed to be with her.
“Hmm!”
Reg Butler nodded, thinking to himself that although the Lan Group had done well in recent years, he was currently in a period of “unblocking” his financial resources. The funds he had at his disposal were equivalent to the total assets of many small and medium-sized enterprises.
Thinking this way, he felt much more confident.
“I have no idea what you like to drink, so I just ordered a bottle of red wine randomly. Hope it’s something you’ll enjoy!”
Jacqueline David said indifferently that with such an aloof demeanor, it was difficult for anything around her to capture her interest.
“The 2002 Lafite, although it contains some coloring agents, still retains about half of its original purity in flavor!”
Reg Butler took a sip and chuckled softly.
“Huh? You know something about red wine?”
This took Jacqueline David by surprise, and her beautiful eyes sparkled with delight.
“I didn’t drink much. I know a little bit, that’s all.”
Reg Butler said it indifferently, though deep down he felt helpless.
When he was a child, his family had so much red wine that they couldn’t drink it all. Just the wine given to his family by others filled up more than a dozen warehouses.
But his father had always been picky since childhood. Even if the family did drink alcohol, they would only order authentic red wine that had been freshly brewed and flown in from the origin. They would never be interested in the blended wines served in hotels like those outside.
“That’s great! In a few days, there’s a winery opening. To be honest, I don’t know much about red wine. But it’s a winery belonging to a friend of my father, and he insists I go. Do you have time this weekend?”
Jacqueline David seemed to have discovered a new world. Poor Chuchu just stared at Reg Butler.
The overall atmosphere during meals has improved a lot.
“Of course!”
Reg Butler nodded. It was amazing that a beauty like Jacqueline David would actually ask him out on her own.
