Chapter 5 Chapter 5
LOGAN.
I spent five years convincing myself there was nothing there for Mae. That she was simply the little girl who followed Essie around the mansion, the little girl I took in after her parents died, the little girl who became family. But somewhere along the way, things stopped being that simple and even then I didn't realize it immediately. It was when she turned nineteen..
I thought I was just protective of her. Concerned. She had been through a lot and I wanted the best for her. At least that was the lie I told myself.
Then she left for Westvale and I found myself missing her more than I should. I missed her laugh. I missed her shiny eyes whenever she got excited about something. I missed hearing her voice in the house. I missed her presence. That was when I started realizing whatever I felt for Mae wasn't entirely fatherly anymore, and it scared the hell out of me.
So when she started creating distance, I let it happen too. It was the right thing to do.
As far as Mae knew, I was a father figure in her life. The man who took care of her when nobody else did. The man who was supposed to protect her, not look at her the way I sometimes found myself looking at her. I convinced myself the distance would fix everything. That eventually she would become a memory and I would move on.
I was wrong.
Seeing her at the airport had been bad enough. She wasn't the same girl who left New Dallas five years ago. Mae was twenty-four now. A full-grown woman. Her features had matured, her curves had filled out, and somehow she had become even more beautiful than I remembered. What the hell was I expecting after five years?
I knew I needed to get a grip before I ruined everything. I had no right to think about Mae the way I did, but every time I tried to stop, I failed. Every time I told myself to look away from my little Peach, my eyes always found their way back to her.
That was why I called Victoria. I needed a distraction. Something familiar. Someone who wasn't Mae. The problem was that no matter how hard I tried, my mind kept circling back to her, and tonight proved exactly how dangerous that had become.
I tried to fight the urge but I was fucking hard seeing Mae’s bare breasts, there were so full that it had me going nuts, not to mention her slim waist and full curves. Everything stared at me like it was calling my name.
Then she fell into my arms and I completely lost it.
I wanted to stay longer and get her full naked image registered in my head. It was wrong but it's so hard fighting my desire right now.
“Logan!”
Victoria's voice cut through the moment and I turned and walked off.
“Logan, are you there?” Victoria called again.
“Yes” I answered, stepping out and shutting the door.
“What is taking you so long? You said you wanted to give her a towel,” she said, narrowing her eyes as she tried to peek past me.
“Yes. Let's head back to the room,” I said quickly.
Victoria stared at me for a moment.
“Is she okay?”
I nodded.
“She’s fine.”
“Alright,” she murmured, though she didn't look convinced.
We headed back to the room and Victoria started to pull off her clothes while I laid on the bed, my mind rolling everything that just went down. I blinked my eyes, rubbing my temples.
“I have missed you so much Logan, you barely call me these days” Victoria said, joining me in the bed, she was totally naked now and had started to kiss me all over but I wasn't having it, my mind was stuck on Mae.
She unzipped my trousers, pulling it down while she grabbed my cock and filled her mouth with it.
Fuck me, I was hard. I grabbed her hair, pushing her deeper. She was bobbing her head in and out.
“Fuckk,” I groaned under my breath, my hand gripping her hair tighter.
Victoria was right there.
But the moment I looked at her, her face blurred in my mind, I wasn't seeing Victoria anymore, I was seeing the naked image of Mae.
Her eyes. The way she looked at me seconds before everything went wrong.
I exhaled sharply, jaw tightening as I tried to pull myself back into the moment, but it only got worse, throughout the process, I was mentally seeing Mae and that's even more fucked up.
