Juliet's POV

I pulled out my phone and popped the SIM card out. The tiny piece of plastic bent between my fingers until it snapped in half. I dropped both pieces in the trash can by the door.

Then I blocked the link between Kael and me, so he couldn't sense me through the link anymore.
