Chapter 1 CHAPTER 01 The Beginning

AMELIA'S POV

I woke early to find Koda had not come home again. I threw back the covers got out of bed and went to shower. I was hurt and angry why was I letting him do this to me.

I brushed my teeth then my long reddish-brown hair I looked in the mirror. I was a beautiful woman at five feet eight inches tall with hazel eyes and an hourglass figure. I had the just right amount of tone from years of training. I braided my hair down my back and went to dressed in black spandex and a black hoodie and my joggers.

He knew I felt everything and it hurt so much when he was with another, why? We had been so happy I could not understand what I had done in the last year that made him do this.

I walked out of the walk-in closet as Koda was coming into our room. I ignored him and went to leave, but he grabbed my arm stopping me.

"Your not leaving Just yet Amelia," he told me sternly.

"Koda let go of me, your hurting me. Why are you doing this to me, to us?" I asked him.

"Tell me Amelia how long have we been mated?" I looked at him.

"Five years next week," I told him.

"How old were you?" He demanded.

"You know I was just eighteen. What is with all the questions?" I asked him.

"In those five years you have failed to give me an heir to my legacy." Koda said angrily.

"Is that what this is about not all she wolf get pregnant right away. If you were not off screwing someone else every night for the last year I might have gotten pregnant not this once a week when your drunk shit." I threw back at him.

"It dies not matter any more Amelia. It is over!" He said I just stood there looking at him as a smile spread across his face.

"What do you mean?" I asked him.

"Your coming down to the main hall with me so everyone knows!" Koda said grabbing my arm again dragging me out of our room and down the stairs, I almost fell twice because he was walking so fast. When we got to the main hall it was full of pack members. He gripped my arm tighter dragging me in front of everyone. Koda stood addressing the people in the room.

"You were requested to come to bare witnesses to my rejection of Luna Amelia.

"No!" I cried, but he gripped my arm tighter pulling me inches from him.

"I Koda Alpha of the Stone Claw pack reject you Luna Amelia of the Stone Claw pack." He said loud and clear so that everyone heard him. He threw me away from him and I fell to the floor my very soul burning with pain of rejection. I just laid there not daring to move.

"Come up here to me Jessie" he said, I turned my head to look as a tall Blonde walked over to him as she turned to face him I saw she was heavy with pups. I turned away.

"I Koda Alpha of the Stone Claw pack accept you Jessie as my mate, my Luna and the mother of my heirs." He said then kissed her on the cheek. The rest was a blur; I just lay on the floor crying. Koda had left and the room was quieter, two hand reached down and took mine.

"Come I will help you pack," Alice an elderly maid said as she made me stand up.

"Where will I go?" I asked.

"Koda had called your father and told him he is sending you home." She told me. When we got to the bedroom Koda stood there smiling.

"Take everything that you can fit into your car he said as he sat down to watch me pack. I wanted to slap the smug look off his face, but I just got out my suitcases and started to pack. I stopped crying I would not give him another tear. Warriors came and took my suitcases to my car. I had left all the fancy ball gowns I had no need for them where I was going. I was about to walk out the door when Koda grabbed my already badly bruised arm.

"You forgot to leave something," he said ripping the ring off my finger.

"These belong to my Luna and mother of my heirs," he said. I stood tall and looked him in the eyes.

"I Amelia reject you Alpha Koda of the stone claw pack," I spat at him. He just laughed.

I turned to walk out the door but stopped and looked at him.

"I curse you and your heirs with that woman.!" I said and then left. I could still hear him laughing as I walked down the stairs. Everyone turned away from me. I got into my car and drove for three days home sleeping in the car when I got tired. Doe my wolf watching over me at night. I pulled up to Shadow pack by noon of the third day. The guards let me in.

"Welcome home Amelia," the guard said. I just nodded the whole pack must know by now that he rejected Luna was coming back. I pulled into my parent’s driveway and went into the house. Mom came out of the kitchen and hugged me.

"Where is dad?" I asked not seeing him.

"He is up with Alpha since this morning. Koda wants to break the alliance with our pack." Mom told me.

"I'm sorry," I told her.

"It is not your fault child, come let's get your thing out of the car and into your room" mom said. Taking me back out to the car. I unlocked the door and was about to get out my suitcases when a young warrior came up to the car.

"Ms. Rhea, let me help take those into the house for you.” he said.

"Thank you Mac, we appreciate that," mom told him. I didn't need help I went to grab a box and Mac put his hand on it.

"Please, let me do this for you Amelia," Mac said.

"Because you pity a rejected Luna?" I asked him.

"Amelia!" My mother said sternly.

"No Amelia my sister is mated into that pack, and she told my mother everything," Mac said.

"So you pity me," I said standing my ground.

"No, I just wanted to help. It is what we do here unless you have forgotten." Mac said upset.

"Amelia, come in the house with me. Mac thank you; can you take things up to the third door on the right please." Mom said. I gave up and let go of the box.

"Yes, Ms. Rhea" Mac said taking the box.

"Thank you Mac," I said with my head down. I followed mother into the kitchen. She made me sit and have tea while she made dinner.

"Will dad even let me stay here?" I asked her.
