Chapter 7 Chapter 7
Thunder POV
"As I've told you, you'll regret marrying me, Jewel," I whisper while looking at her going upstairs.
At first, I thought she would give in to my sudden action, but to my surprise, she didn't respond to my kiss and pushed me away.
He never felt any regrets about what I did to her. I wanted to make her life miserable. I already did everything for her to give up and leave, but she is even more determined to stay.
After a minute, I heard the doorbell ring, and as soon as I opened the door, my parents appeared in front of me. I quickly kissed them both on the cheeks. "What are you doing here, mom, dad? Why didn't you call?" I asked.
"Your mommy wants to see Jewel, and she is persistent with it," my dad said.
I looked at my mom, and she just raised her eyebrow. "Why? Are we not allowed to visit here? I just miss Jewel. Where is she?"
"She's upstairs; I'll call her." I'm about to go upstairs when I see her.
I immediately came closer to her. "W-why?" she asked, shuttering.
"Mom and Dad are here," I said.
My mom immediately came near Jewel and hugged her. "I miss you, my daughter,"
"I miss you too, Mommy. Why are you here? It's getting late. Are you going to sleep here?" Jewel asked.
"We're just passing by; we just came from a conference meeting."
"And then? I know you have another reason why you suddenly went here, mom," I said.
"Your Aunt Celestine is here in the Philippines. She's inviting us for lunch tomorrow," dad answered.
"We'll come," I said.
"How are you?" my mother asked Jewel. "Wait, honey, did you cry?"
"No, Mommy, I just got emotional about the K-drama I watched a while ago," Jewel responded.
My mom nodded. "I thought my son was hurting you."
I instantly looked at my wife.
Jewel just shook her head. "Thunder is so caring and so loving when it comes to me."
I was astonished by how my wife covered up the situation.
"I thought my son was hurting you. He will regret it if he does. Don't hesitate to tell me if he did such a thing," my mom said, giving me a sharp glaze.
"Son," my father called me seriously. "We want a grandchild. You know we aren't getting younger."
"Your dad is right, son. It's been a year since both of you got married. Aren't you planning on giving as a grandchild?" my mother added.
"Don't worry, we are working on it," I answered.
My parents just laughed. They stay for an hour before they leave.
Before I could enter my room, I heard Jewel's voice. "Ahm, do I have to be with you tomorrow?" She hesitantly asked.
"Of course, you need to! We are married! What would Aunt Celestine think if you were not with me? Use your brain," I coldly said.
Jewel POV
While I was in my room, I couldn't decide what to wear for tomorrow's lunch. I don't want to look like trash in front of Thunders's family, even though I have aclose bond with them. I don't want my husband to feel embarrassed because of me.
I am choosing a dress that suits me in my closet when a pink floral dress catches my attention, and I decide to wear it tomorrow.
I have prepared everything for tomorrow. I didn't know why I had prepared so much for that simple lunch. I looked at my wall clock and saw that it was already 10 p.m. I was so preoccupied with preparing that I wasn't aware of the time.
