Chapter 3
The hotel room was quiet. The only things making sounds were the click of the door behind them and the soft hum of the air conditioner.
Aiden remained silent. He took Nathalie to the room with his hand on her back, guiding her as if she was something fragile.
Nathalie looked at him with her heavy lashes.
Her body was still spinning from the alcohol, but now she was feeling hot, tense, and hungry.
Aiden turned to face her. Her fingers wrapped around his shirt as she grabbed his chest. She put her lips on his.
The kiss was not slow. No rush. It was a deep, wild kiss. He took hold of her waist and drew her in. Their both bodies stretch each other like magnet.
When his mouth traveled down her jaw and neck, she gasped against him. She felt goosebumps as his teeth touched her flesh, causing her head to tilt back.
He didn't ask and he didn't stop. They both started pulling off their clothes and threw them on the ground.
When he touched the button of her jeans, his fingers shook a little, but he continued. With Nathalie’s rough hands and a confused breath, she pulled his belt. They were both standing opposite one another. There was warmth and pressure between them.
Her hair spread out across the pillows as she collapsed back onto the bed. For a minute, he leaned over her. His eyes were burning for her. She grabbed him once again and pulled him down to her by placing her hand behind his neck.
Aiden placed a kiss on her neck. It was slow and steady as if he was tasting every part of her.
When his hands went under her thighs and spread her open, Nathalie's breath caught as her fingers held the sheets.
He found her with gentle strokes that made her legs shake, and she moaned.
Her voice was no more than a whisper as she took a breath "Oh...my….." He remained silent.
His eyes remained fixed on her face, observing each response and chill that passed through her body.
His fingers teased and circled her temple. Her eyes were wide and glassy with fire as she gasped and held his shoulders tight.
She raised her hips in his direction. "Let me," he said softly against her skin as he gently pinned her down.
She melted into the bed as her body obeyed. Slower this time, his fingers never stopped stroking her.
His touch caused Nathalie's body to move, chasing the pressure and the fire that was growing in her stomach.
Her moans became quiet and breathless. She cried softly into his shoulder when she came. Her whole body was shaking.
As if she were something fragile, Aiden held her through it, kissing her cheek, jaw, and chest. Desperate now, she drew him in.
“I need more.” She moaned.
His body was firm against hers. Her thighs curled around his waist as she leaned into him with her nails running down his back.
They didn’t say anything. They only made gentle moans, sighs, and gasps filling the room like music.
He went slowly and deeply into her. Her back lifted off the bed as she gasped. Her legs around him were tight.
Without realizing it, every inch of him inside her felt like something she had been desperate for. He began with a deep and slow pace.
She held on to him tightly, while his hands went down her sides as if he were learning her body by feeling it.
Nathalie stretched below him, her breath stopping in her throat. It was hot in the room.
Wherever he touched her skin, it burned. He traced a part with his mouth, kissing the side of her neck first, then the bottom part.
She held the sheets in her fingers. Desperate for air, but craving for more, her chest rose and sank.
"Don't stop," she said in a faint voice.
Their bodies fit as if they had done this before as if they knew each other better than they appeared, and her eyes fell close as he rose again.
Her breath was stolen by every move, which was like a wave pounding through her. Every time he moved, her lips parted and her eyelids closed.
His breath was irregular and heated as he buried his face in her neck. It seemed as though their bodies were designed to move in together. They had nothing to say, so they remained silent.
He kissed her breasts, shoulder, and collarbone. With each push, her hips pressed harder and deeper. She gasped. They were both inside each other. Everything was rising to something sharp and wild. Aiden’s muscles were tense and he reduced his speed a bit. Below him, she broke down, breathing heavily.
All it took was for her walls to tighten around him. With his hands on her hips, he gave in as well, moaning low under his voice. His entire body froze before he collapsed into her, exhausted and shaking.
He remained there with his forehead against hers, breathing heavily. His temples were covered with sweat. Their chests rose and fell together as her arms wrapped around his back, holding him tight. They remained silent.
After a while, Aiden came down and lay next to her. With one leg covered with his, she rolled onto him, resting her head on his chest. She closed her eyes. He didn't get any sleep.
Nathalie opened her eyes slowly.
The light in the room was soft, but her head was heavy. Her body ached from last night. She turned her head and saw Aiden sleeping beside her. Her eyes looked at him with no emotions in ti.
She sat down and pulled the blanket close to her. She looked down at herself. She was naked. She hissed and her lips pressed into a hard line.
She turned away from him and got out of bed. The air in the room was cold. She didn’t shiver.
Her clothes were on the floor. She picked them up one by one and dressed without rushing. Every move she made was quiet but sharp. She didn’t look back at him.
Her heels clicked gently on the floor as she walked to the table. She opened her purse and pulled out some cash. It was ten thousand dollars, in clean notes. She placed the cash into an envelope and kept it on the table beside the bed, where he could see it when he wakes up.
She didn’t say sorry. She didn’t drop a note either. She was just cold.
“That should cover everything.” She said, her voice was low without any feelings.
She looked around for her phone and found it under her dress. She turned it on and checked the time. She gasped when she saw 20 missed calls from Tessa. She got a text from an unknown number, but didn’t respond immediately. She kept the phone back in her bag.
She looked at Aiden one last time with no emotion.
Then she left without saying goodbye.
