In the world of business, Axel never loses. But in marriage, he lost everything—especially the love he himself destroyed.
Chapter 1
BRAAAKK!
The sound of a violent crash shattered the silence of the night. A black sedan was left mangled after slamming into a massive tree on the side of a deserted road. A light rain fell, soaking the cracked windshield and the dimly glowing headlights.
Behind the steering wheel, Vanesa sat frozen for a few seconds. Her breath came in ragged gasps, her chest rising and falling unevenly. Her head felt heavy, her vision spinning.
“Ah…” a soft groan slipped from her lips.
A sharp, searing pain stabbed her lower abdomen, spreading to her back. Vanesa slowly lowered her gaze—and when she saw the red liquid soaking her skirt and the car seat, her body began to tremble violently.
“No…” her voice shook. “No… please, not now… not now…”
With trembling hands, she touched her slightly swollen belly. The baby—her tiny hope, the one she had been protecting all on her own.
With what little consciousness she had left, Vanesa reached for her phone that had fallen onto the car floor. The screen was cracked, but it still worked. She pressed a name she knew by heart.
Axel.
The ringing tone echoed. Once. Twice.
Vanesa held her breath, tears pooling in her eyes.
“A-Axel…” her voice broke when the call was finally answered. “Please help me… I’m—”
Before she could finish, Axel’s cold voice cut her off, utterly devoid of concern.
“Vanesa, I’m busy. Don’t disturb me right now. Handle your own problems.”
The words fell like a hammer, striking her chest without mercy.
“A-Axel… I’ve had an accident… I’m bleeding…” Vanesa whispered, barely audible.
But all that came from the other end was an impatient sigh.
“That’s enough. I don’t have time for drama.”
Click.
The call ended.
Vanesa stared at the darkened screen, as if hoping what she’d heard was nothing more than a nightmare. Her chest tightened. Her breath caught—not only from the pain in her body, but from the agony tearing through her heart.
“Axel…” she whispered faintly, full of despair.
The pain in her abdomen intensified. Vanesa tried to open the car door, but her body was too weak. Her legs trembled as she forced herself out. The moment her feet touched the wet asphalt, her knees gave out.
Her body collapsed to the ground.
“Ah!” Vanesa winced in pain, her hands instinctively clutching her stomach, now feeling even wetter.
The road was deserted. No passing cars. No houses. No light except her car’s headlights and a flickering streetlamp in the distance.
“Help…” her voice was hoarse. “Anyone… please help me…”
Only the rain answered.
Tears mixed with rain streamed down her cheeks as Vanesa lifted her face toward the dark sky.
“God…” her sob broke free. “Please save my baby… I beg You… he’s innocent… he’s done nothing wrong…”
The cold slowly crept through her body. Her vision blurred further. Her heartbeat weakened.
“I couldn’t protect you in time…” she murmured hopelessly. “Forgive Mommy…”
Her eyelids slowly fell shut.
Suddenly, headlights pierced through the rain and darkness. A man driving past slammed on his brakes when he noticed the wrecked car by the roadside.
“An accident?” he muttered.
He pulled over and ran toward the scene. The moment he saw a woman lying on the asphalt, blood surrounding her, his expression turned tense.
“Hey! Miss! Can you hear me?” he shouted in panic.
No response.
“Oh my God…” He knelt down and checked Vanesa’s breathing. It was still there—weak, but present.
Without wasting another second, the man carefully lifted Vanesa and carried her to his car. His hands were smeared with blood, but he didn’t care.
“Hold on,” he said firmly, though his voice trembled. “You have to hold on.”
The car sped through the rain toward the nearest hospital.
At the same time, in an exclusive downtown restaurant, Axel Armand sat comfortably at a table of expensive marble. His tailored suit fit him perfectly, his expression calm—as if the world was entirely under his control.
His phone lay on the table. No longer ringing.
“Who was calling you earlier?” the woman across from him asked with a sweet smile.
Axel glanced at her briefly. “My wife.”
“Oh?” The woman let out a soft laugh. “Still being clingy?”
Axel leaned back in his chair.
“Not important.”

A pack of their own
The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."
New to the world of shifters, Draven is human on the run. A beautiful girl who no one could protect. Domonic is the cold Alpha of the Red Wolf Pack. A brotherhood of twelve wolves that live by twelve rules. Rules which they vowed could NEVER be broken.
Especially - Rule Number One - No Mates

But she doesn’t know about the child she’s carrying or that the moment she left, Domonic decided rules were made to be broken - and now will he ever find her again? Will she forgive him?
The Human Among Wolves
My stomach twisted, but he wasn’t finished.
"You're just a pathetic little human," Zayn said, his words deliberate, each one hitting like a slap. "Spreading your legs for the first guy who bothers to notice you."
Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
I was so, so stupid.

“I thought you said you were done chasing me?” Gen mocked.
“I am done chasing you.”
Before she could formulate a witty remark, Matteo threw her down. She landed hard on her back atop his dining room table. She tried to sit up when she noticed what he was doing. His hands were working on his belt. It came free of his pants with a violent yank. She collapsed back on her elbows, her mouth gaping open at the display. His face was a mask of sheer determination, his eyes were a dark gold swimming with heat and desire. His hands wrapped around her thighs and pulled her to the edge of the table. He glided his fingers up her thighs and hooked several around the inside of her panties. His knuckles brushed her dripping sex.
“You’re soaking wet, Genevieve. Tell me, was it me that made you this way or him?” his voice told her to be careful with her answer. His knuckles slid down through her folds and she threw her head back as she moaned. “Weakness?”
“You…” she breathed.

Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
