Introduction
Alpha Cameron is the strongest Alpha in America and the most feared, but he has a secret. He doesn’t want a mate because of this and has decided to take a chosen mate to become his Luna in name only. His mother, sister, and beta urge him constantly to rethink his decision as the woman he has chosen is a nightmare. They believe that he should wait for his fated mate, but their pleas fall on deaf ears. What happens when he visits the Red Dawn Pack for the Alpha daughters’ coming of age party and finds his fated mate being beaten? Will he save her or reject her?
Chapter 1
“You really think that someone as low as you could ever be anything in this pack?” said the Alpha’s daughter. I kept my mouth shut and my head bowed so that I didn’t let my anger cause me to do something I shouldn’t. She and her minions had already jumped me when I went outside my room and left the pack house. They gave me a room but I wasn’t allowed to have many amenities. For instance, I never received expensive clothes like everyone else, even though my parents left me a fortune when they died. I didn’t need or want expensive clothes, but new clothes would be great. They gave me hand-me-down clothing that other girls in the pack had either grown tired of having or they were no longer able to fit. I’ve lost so much weight that I believe if a strong enough wind blew, I’d be blown away.
“You think you’re prettier than me, don’t you? Did you think that I wouldn’t find out that you tried to seduce my boyfriend into being your mate? I have to hand it to both of you for keeping it a secret from me for so long. He assured me that he would reject you, which is the only reason I didn’t do anything to you before now, but now that he has, I don’t have to worry about hurting him when I hurt you.” She said before kicking me in the stomach so hard that I coughed up some blood. Why don’t I fight back you ask? Well, it isn’t that I can’t beat all of them, but more that if I did before I turned 18, there could be consequences, since she is the only child of the Alpha and Luna and destined to be the next Alpha.
You see, my life wasn’t always like this. My mother and father were the Beta pair of this idiotic pack before they were killed in a rogue attack when I was only 12 years old protecting that idiot Alpha and his equally idiot Luna. Since they’ve been gone, my life has changed drastically. At first, things were good. The Alpha and Luna took me in like they are supposed to do as the leaders of the pack, and for a couple of years I was taken care of, but for some reason, on my 16th birthday, everything changed. They said that it was time I started pulling my weight around here and basically turned me into less than an omega. They had me cleaning the entire pack house alone, doing more than my share of the chores, and when I would protest and refuse to do all the work myself, I’d get locked in the dungeons for a few days without food or water. The Luna didn’t like me because, at 16, I was starting to be noticed by the boys and some men in the pack. It bruised her ego to hear that they all thought I was more beautiful than her precious daughter, Amelia. Amelia and I used to play together as children, but after her parents started treating me horribly, so did she. At first, it hurt that I’d lost my friend, but after a while, I got over it and moved on. As soon as I turn 18, I am out of here and if my mate is someone in this pack he can come with me. My plan is to go back to my mother’s pack. I’d already known that they would accept me because when the lawyer came to read the will to me, he told me that I didn’t have any relatives there, but that my mother had already talked to the Alpha of the pack, and he said that he would gladly take me when I came of age. I hate that he couldn’t take me before then, but pack laws dictate that I must be of legal age to say that I want to leave my current pack. If it wasn’t for that law, I definitely would have chosen to leave years ago.
The Alpha hates me for a whole different reason. Actually, he hates me for more than one reason. For one, he hates the fact that he and his mate were not allowed to be in the soundproof room with me to hear them read the will. He tried to argue that since they were now my guardians, they had a right to be in the room in case the lawyer tried to trick me being that I was so young. That was a bunch of bull and the lawyer told me so when he was in the room with me and a child advocate. They told me that my parents didn’t trust anyone to not try to take advantage of me if they were to die before I was old enough to get my inheritance, which I could get in a few hours. At midnight, I turn 18 and all the funds will be transferred to me, then I can leave this hellhole. The second reason he hates me is because he knows that my parents had more money than him and he wanted to use the guardianship as a way to access my money. I’m glad he can’t get anything because I’m going to need that money when I leave here. If he had gotten ahold of it, I’d definitely be bankrupt. The third and final reason is the one that gets me into trouble though. You see, my parents were the Betas of this pack, but they are, or should I say were, both pure blooded Alphas which makes me a very rare breed of shifter. My father gave up running a pack years ago to my uncle, who had a son, and it went to him after that, but at some point, another Alpha took over after killing him in an Alpha challenge. When I heard the news, I cried for a week. He was my favorite cousin, and I know that if he had found out about what happened here, he would have gotten me out. Anyway, back to why he hates me. Being a pure-blooded Alpha from my parents and a female makes me valuable, and he can’t use his Alpha tone on me. Well, he can use it, but it doesn’t work on me. The first time he tried to use it on me, I hadn’t even realized I was defying him. Of course, being an Alpha, his ego and pride were bruised that a 16-year-old girl was able to defy his orders. His own mate and daughter had to listen when he used his Alpha voice, but not me.

Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."

"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."

Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

"Girls like you don't get to dream about guys like Kai." Bella's breath was hot on my face. "You don't get to write pathetic love letters."
She shoved me again. Harder.
"Maybe if you weren't such a desperate little—"
I fell. My head cracked against the corner.
Warmth trickled down my neck. Blood.
Their laughter turned to gasps.
The door slammed.
I tried to stand. Couldn't. The room was spinning, fading to black.
Someone... please...

The Biker Alpha Who Became My Second Chance Mate
"You're like a sister to me."
Those were the actual words that broke the camel's back.
Not after what just happened. Not after the hot, breathless, soul-shaking night we spent tangled in each other's arms.
I knew from the beginning that Tristan Hayes was a line I shouldn't cross.
He wasn't just anyone, he was my brother's best friend. The man I spent years secretly wanting.
But that night... we were broken. We had just buried our parents. And the grief was too heavy, too real...so I begged him to touch me.
To make me forget. To fill the silence that death left behind.
And he did. He held me like I was something fragile.
Kissed me like I was the only thing he needed to breathe.
Then left me bleeding with six words that burned deeper than rejection ever could.
So, I ran. Away from everything that cost me pain.
Now, five years later, I'm back.
Fresh from rejecting the mate who abused me. Still carrying the scars of a pup I never got to hold.
And the man waiting for me at the airport isn't my brother.
It's Tristan.
And he's not the guy I left behind.
He's a biker.
An Alpha.
And when he looked at me, I knew there was no where else to run to.
