Chapter 1
Gemma's pov,
"Get to your room now, you silly mutt of a dog. You're a nobody; I don't know why I even saved you!" shouted Richard as he punched me over and over—in my face, my arms, my chest; you name it, he did it. By the time he was done, I was a battered mess.
"Please stop! Leave me alone! Please, I'm sorry for everything, for even being born. I can't breathe," I pleaded, and what a mistake that was. Richard yanked my hair, pulling me toward my room, which was the basement. As he opened the door, he pushed me down the steps. I landed on my back, smashing my head on the floor.
I was screaming in so much pain, struggling to handle it. I closed my eyes as I tried to calm my breathing. Pain all over my body, from head to toe—why do I suffer the way I do? Maybe I will take my own life and be at peace.
"Why the fuck am I keeping you around and alive if you can't get the cleaning done properly? You are useless, and this is why you are all alone with no friends?" shouted Richard from the top of the stairs.
I didn't bother replying, as I knew I would get more hurt.
All I get with this life is hell and physical beatings. Who am I? Here it goes:
My name is Gemma Star, and I am 15 years of age, living in hell in the Blood Moon pack. I'm all alone; I don't have parents, and I don't have siblings. I live with my uncle Richard and his mate Khloe, who is a witch—the most evil people in the world. My bedroom is a dirt basement with a bucket what kind of people are these? I wish I was left to die by my family's hand I wouldn't of minded, I would have been at peace,
Richard is always telling me how my family wanted me dead; they were plotting my death so it wouldn't alert the werewolf council.
My head was banging, and I managed to finally drag my broken arse over to my shitty mattress. I'm not allowed a bed, and I'm not allowed out for the toilet, which is why I have a bucket. I'm only allowed to shower three times a week for 15 minutes each time. If I go one second over, it's a beating from Khloe. She deals with black magic, and I'm sure sometimes Richard is under a spell, but nothing can make that man any better; he's the worst. Lying on my mattress, my back is hurting more, but I can't lie on my sides either because the bruising is black and purple. I was finally able to sleep, letting the darkness take over.
It felt like a few minutes passed, and I was being shouted at to get up, By Richard. "Wake up, you bitch! I want breakfast. Hurry the fuck up; I need to leave!"
I tried to sit up, but it hurt so much that I needed to hold on. So, I waited a few more minutes and tried again. I only managed to stand up using the wall for help.
I quickly got my clothes off the floor, as I only owned two pairs of jeans with faded colours and two long-sleeve tops. I wasn't allowed to wear them anymore, and if I appeared in them, Khloe would burn them all, leaving me with a cleaning maid uniform. No, thank you, as if I already don't get tortured. As I got dressed, I threw my hair in a bun using my toothbrush with no water and a small tube of toothpaste. Once I was finished, I made my way up the stairs slowly; it hurt every time I walked.
Arriving at the kitchen, Khloe and Richard were already sitting down and eating. "Because you took the piss, you will receive a punishment when I get back, and I will do what I like. Now get the fuck out before I throw you out," said Richard with a smirk.
"I'm going to pass out! I need something to eat or drink, please. I'm begging," I said as the tears wouldn't stop coming.
"I'm not listening to this! Get the fuck out!" shouted Khloe as she stood up, came around to me, grabbed me by the arm, and threw me out of the door. I landed on my face, scraping my chin, hands, and knees, putting a hole in my jeans like I don't have holes already.
Getting up and walking slowly to the gate, I made my way to school, thinking of everything that could go wrong for me today.
What is going to happen today? I had a really bad feeling that something was going to happen.
I was close to the school when I heard the bell ring, letting all the students know it was class time. Arriving at the school and walking straight through the double glass doors, it was quiet; not a sound was heard.
Walking to my locker, I put away the books that I would need later before going to class when I remembered I had Miss Shaw, the Wicked Witch.
"You're late, Gemma. Why? If you don't answer that, I will ring your guardian later and fill them in," Miss Shaw said as I made my way to the table at the back. I don't have any friends; everyone hates me, and I don't get why. I've never done anything wrong to them.
"Gemma, Gemma, Gemma, what shall I do with you?" said one of the Alphas as he spat in my face.
I went to get up when the oldest Alpha pushed me back down. "We aren't done with you yet. Where do you think you're going?"
"To the toilet. Please let me go; I've done nothing wrong to any of you," I begged as I tried to get up.
Alpha Jayden laughed and pushed me back in my chair. "You will stay here. You distracted us because you think you can be late," Alpha Logan said as he yanked my hair back.
I think Alpha Asher saw the scars on my neck as he looked at them and then back at me, turning to his brothers. "Let's go; she's not worth our time. Come, brothers, let's go and party with real girls."
Walking away from me, the bell rang. "Gemma, you will come back at the end of the day. You will do a detention with me, and we will call home to find out why you're late," Miss Shaw said.
I got my things and ran straight out, only to be tripped up by the cheerleading slut, Mia, the one who was seeing Logan.
I fell straight on my face, breaking my nose as I heard it crack and blood pouring down. I don't normally let them see me cry, but this time I couldn't help it as the tears came down.
"Get away from us! You’re putting blood all over. Move, you tramp! Go back to the server where you belong, you dirty rat," said Mia.
As Mia walked past, she couldn't help herself, so she kicked me in the back. If I may add, it hurt; I already have open cuts from Richard and Khloe. Getting up, I ran straight to the toilets, checking that no one was in there. As it was empty, I just broke down and cried. I realized I didn't have my bag; I was in trouble.
I cleaned my face and did my business, washing my hands. As I was about to leave the toilets, I noticed my bag was there next to the wall; someone had put it there. I picked it up and noticed a note from Asher.
"Gemma, I thought you would want this," was all it said.
Why was Asher being nice when they all hated me? I hated myself. I will never forget when they properly beat me up; I couldn't come to school for days. I will always remember it as Richard and Khloe both beat me up, and they had to pay for my treatment.
I realized I was already in for a beating, so, being me, I left school—well, I flew out of school as I ran. Although it killed me, I did it as fast as my legs would take me.
Slowing down outside the school's main gates, I didn't see anyone and ended up bumping into a girl. "I'm so sorry; I didn't see you there."
"It's alright. Where's the fire? Are you alright? What's your name? Shouldn't you be in class?" she said as she started to giggle.
I got a sense that I could trust her.
"Sorry, my name is Gemma, and I'm done with school for today. I'm just going home," I lied and told her, as I still didn't know her despite what I felt.
"My name is Emily. I'm new. My aunt died, so I'm back living with my parents here. Let's walk together. I've just enrolled in school, and it was the paperwork today, so I'm done too."
"Let's go," I said as we started walking. I wanted to get away from the school before the Alphas and cheerleading slags came.
We started walking when I felt a pain so intense in my arms; it was burning like I was on fire. I dropped to my knees, lifting my sleeves. "Please make it stop; please, it's hurting and burning."
"Gemma, what's happening? Why are there letters on your arm? Who's doing this?" Emily said as she bent down beside me, rubbing my back.
"It's my uncle's mate. She hates me, and she's torturing me. I walked out of school; the teacher must have told her that. That's why she's put, 'Get Home Now.'"
That was all I said before I passed out. Within a few minutes, I opened my eyes to realize I was being carried. I gasped in shock at who was holding me, and I felt safe. It was none other than the Alphas—the big bad Alphas whom I hated.
Jumping down, I stumbled but regained my footing straight away. I turned to look up at them. "Gemma, please don't do it. We are not going to hurt you," said Alpha Asher.
As if I was going to believe them, I turned to Emily and said, "I need to go. I will see you around."
Then I ran off, needing to get home... I'm pretty sure I could feel someone or someone following me.

The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

The Biker's Fate
I squeezed my eyes shut.
"Dani," he pressed. "Do you get me?"
"No, Austin, I don't," I admitted as I pulled my robe closed again and sat up. "You confuse me."
He dragged his hands down his face. "Tell me what's on your mind."
I sighed. "You're everything my parents warned me against. You're secretive, but you're also honest. I feel wholly protected by you, but then you scare me more than anyone I've ever known. You're a bad boy, but when I dated a so-called good one, he turned out to be the devil, so, yeah, I don't get you because you're not what I expected. You drive me crazier than anyone I've ever met, but then you make me feel complete. I'm feeling things I don't quite know how to process and that makes me want to run. I don't want to give up something that might be really, really good, but I also don't want to be stupid and fall for a boy just because he's super pretty and makes me come."

The Biker Alpha Who Became My Second Chance Mate
"You're like a sister to me."
Those were the actual words that broke the camel's back.
Not after what just happened. Not after the hot, breathless, soul-shaking night we spent tangled in each other's arms.
I knew from the beginning that Tristan Hayes was a line I shouldn't cross.
He wasn't just anyone, he was my brother's best friend. The man I spent years secretly wanting.
But that night... we were broken. We had just buried our parents. And the grief was too heavy, too real...so I begged him to touch me.
To make me forget. To fill the silence that death left behind.
And he did. He held me like I was something fragile.
Kissed me like I was the only thing he needed to breathe.
Then left me bleeding with six words that burned deeper than rejection ever could.
So, I ran. Away from everything that cost me pain.
Now, five years later, I'm back.
Fresh from rejecting the mate who abused me. Still carrying the scars of a pup I never got to hold.
And the man waiting for me at the airport isn't my brother.
It's Tristan.
And he's not the guy I left behind.
He's a biker.
An Alpha.
And when he looked at me, I knew there was no where else to run to.
Balance of Light and Shadow

My Possessive Alpha Twins For Mate
My drunk stepfather remained indifferent, his weight suffocating, making it hard to breathe as my heart raced.
Suddenly, the door slammed open, and two figures burst in.
"Get off her!" a deafening roar echoed.
I didn't expect the twin brothers who'd bullied me at school to come charging in like gods to save me.
After my grandmother passed, I had to move in with my mom and stepdad, who treated me like a servant. I prayed every day for my 18th birthday to come, so l could leave and escape this broken home.
