Hendrix has always been trouble, ignoring warnings and getting into messes—like the time he snuck into Dennis’s (my second mom's) basement and ended up with a scar. Now, at 20, he’s battling ARDS and has been sent to a wellness center for treatment, which I've been forced to go to too. I’ve always seen him as my annoying stepbrother, but something about this place has me looking at him differently. Suddenly, I can’t shake how attractive he looks, and it’s messing with my head. These next four months are going to be way more complicated than I expected.
Chapter 1
Angel's POV
Flashback
“Are you out of your senses?!” I shouted to Hendrix, my step brother who was humping a lady right in my art studio.
The duo jumped when they saw me and hurriedly covered themselves.
“Get out!” I screamed at them.
The strange lady carried her bag and shoes and rushed out before rushing in again to pick up her underwear from the floor.
She struggled to put on her clothes while rubbing to avoid running naked in the streets. I couldn't care less, I just wanted them out of my sight.
My stepbrother still stood unfazed as his partner was acting catastrophically.
“And you too, Hendrix!” I shouted at him, just in case he didn't get the memo that he was supposed to leave too.
“You need to calm down sis or should I say Angel?” He asked, calling my name seductively and licking his lips.
He knew the effect he had on me but I wasn't about to let him hypnotise me this time.
“Get out,” I said to him one more time with a lower voice.
“Chill…it's not like I'm going to contact an STD or something.” He said before leaving.
A year later >>>
“Your pass, please.” A beautiful young nurse stated to me and Hendrix.
We were in LiveLaughLong reproductive Health and Wellness Centre trying to check in since my stepbrother's casanova had finally contracted a disease known as ARD- Atypical Reproductive Dysfunction Syndrome.
It came as a shock to my parents but not to me and they immediately spotted that I knew about his sexual escapades and therefore made a scapegoat out of me.
They shouldered me with the responsibility of seeing that he was well treated before we showed face back in the house.
I immediately checked for a good health centre and was referred here. Not only was this a hospital, but it was more like a correctional centre.
We had to stay in a camp and get educated about the dangers of sex and STDs. My punishment was having to stay throughout the camp when I didn't have any STDs.
I decided to accept my fate instead of sulking and followed him here.
I turned to see Hendrix grumbling while showing his pass to the nurse. I wasn't the only one who wasn't pleased to be here.
“Your hostel is right in front.” The nurse said to us after scribbling some alphanumeric figures on our pass which I realised were hostel numbers.
As I walked towards the huge signboard that read ‘Female hostel,’ I noticed the populace was filled with people of our age.
I checked the placards on each door till I was able to locate my room. I tried to open it but it was locked.
Soon a voice sounded from inside the room. “Who's there?”
I sighed, “I wasn't going to be alone in a room?”
The door opened and a cheery-looking blonde greeted me with a smile.
“Guys, we have a new roommate.” She announced to the rest. I was disappointed. Not only will I be sharing a room, I will be sharing with four people.
I walked to the empty bed, placed my sketchbook and art supplies in the drawer close to the bed, ignored the rest of my suitcase, and jumped on the bed.
I closed my eyes, drowning their noises while pretending to sleep as I thought about my stepmother. I didn't know when sleep caught up with me.
The next morning>>>
“Finally, she's up!” One of my roommates shouted. It was the blonde from yesterday and she was the loudest.
“Sleepyhead. We were just talking about you. What's your name?” She asked me.
I resisted the urge to roll my eyes but went ahead to ignore her and her question. I just wanted to be left alone.
“Okay, we'll go first. I'm Hande, and this is Dilara.” She pointed to a shy-looking brunette who looked too innocent to have an STD.
“Hi.” Dilara greeted me with a little smile.
“That's Cylan.” She continued, pointing at a lady who had more masculine features and even dressed like one.
“Hey,” Cylan said dismissively.
“And that's Charlotte.” She added, pointing at the last roommate who was just looking at us in confusion.
“Pardon her, she's not English so she's always slow to understand,” Hande stated.
I nodded my head to greet the foreigner before turning to Hande who looked like she was expecting a reply from me.
“Right, I'm Angel,” I told her when I realised she was waiting for me to introduce myself.
“This is way different from back home,” I muttered to myself as we started to prepare for the day and headed for the dining room for breakfast.
At the dining room, I caught a glimpse of Hendrix walking in with four boys who I guess were his roommates too.
“The chicks here are fire!” I heard him say, his roommates chanted “You bet!” while looking around the room.
I shook my head. He still hasn't learned from his disease.
“Sad part is we can’t fuck them though, we ain't sure of the disease they are struggling with.” One of his roommates added.
“I don't know about you but I don't give a hoot about any friggin’ diseases as long there's a girl to fuck.” Hendrix responded and they all erupted into laughter.
I rolled my eyes and turned to face my roommates on my table who were talking about how the food was somewhat bland.
I looked around to take in the scenery of the environment and I liked what I saw.
The colour combinations were a perfect mixture of blue and teal and the walls had ancient murals and paintings.
I got lost looking at one of them which showed a man on his deathbed indicating that we could cut short our own life by making wrong decisions.
I was about to start eating my food when I caught a glimpse of Hendrix talking to a girl. It sparked a kind of reaction within me that I couldn't identify.
I instantly hated the girl and didn't want Hendrix to be anywhere near her. Then it occurred to me. I was jealous.

The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

Invisible To Her Bully
Alpha Twins' Mate's broken Human
A Lesson in Magic
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
The Forbidden Throb
Mine changed in the time it took to open a door.
Behind it: my fiancé Nicholas with another woman.
Three months until our wedding. Three seconds to watch it all burn.
I should have run. Should have screamed. Should have done anything except stand there like a fool.
Instead, I heard the devil himself whisper in my ear:
"If you're willing, I could marry you."
Daniel. The brother I was warned about. The one who made Nicholas look like a choir boy.
He leaned against the wall, watching my world implode.
My pulse thundered. "What?"
"You heard me." His eyes burned into mine. "Marry me, Emma."
But as I stared into those magnetic eyes, I realized something terrifying:
I wanted to say yes to him.
Game on.
The Biker Alpha Who Became My Second Chance Mate
"You're like a sister to me."
Those were the actual words that broke the camel's back.
Not after what just happened. Not after the hot, breathless, soul-shaking night we spent tangled in each other's arms.
I knew from the beginning that Tristan Hayes was a line I shouldn't cross.
He wasn't just anyone, he was my brother's best friend. The man I spent years secretly wanting.
But that night... we were broken. We had just buried our parents. And the grief was too heavy, too real...so I begged him to touch me.
To make me forget. To fill the silence that death left behind.
And he did. He held me like I was something fragile.
Kissed me like I was the only thing he needed to breathe.
Then left me bleeding with six words that burned deeper than rejection ever could.
So, I ran. Away from everything that cost me pain.
Now, five years later, I'm back.
Fresh from rejecting the mate who abused me. Still carrying the scars of a pup I never got to hold.
And the man waiting for me at the airport isn't my brother.
It's Tristan.
And he's not the guy I left behind.
He's a biker.
An Alpha.
And when he looked at me, I knew there was no where else to run to.
Accidentally Crossing the Tycoon
Four years ago, the Bailey family faced a devastating financial crisis.
Just when bankruptcy seemed inevitable, a mysterious benefactor emerged, offering salvation with one condition: a contract marriage.
Rumors swirled about this enigmatic man—whispers claimed he was hideously ugly and too ashamed to show his face, possibly harboring dark, twisted obsessions.
Without hesitation, the Baileys sacrificed me to protect their precious biological daughter, forcing me to take her place as a pawn in this cold, calculated arrangement.
Luckily, in those four years, the mysterious husband never asked to meet in person.
Now, in the final year of our arrangement, the husband I've never met is demanding we meet face to face.
But disaster struck the night before my return—drunk and disoriented, I stumbled into the wrong hotel room and ended up sleeping with the legendary financial mogul, Caspar Thornton.
What the hell am I supposed to do now?
The Biker's Fate
I squeezed my eyes shut.
"Dani," he pressed. "Do you get me?"
"No, Austin, I don't," I admitted as I pulled my robe closed again and sat up. "You confuse me."
He dragged his hands down his face. "Tell me what's on your mind."
I sighed. "You're everything my parents warned me against. You're secretive, but you're also honest. I feel wholly protected by you, but then you scare me more than anyone I've ever known. You're a bad boy, but when I dated a so-called good one, he turned out to be the devil, so, yeah, I don't get you because you're not what I expected. You drive me crazier than anyone I've ever met, but then you make me feel complete. I'm feeling things I don't quite know how to process and that makes me want to run. I don't want to give up something that might be really, really good, but I also don't want to be stupid and fall for a boy just because he's super pretty and makes me come."
