Chapter 1
She is a star
At dawn time, the dew falls upon the earth, and everyone in an old orphanage hears the sound of a baby crying ‘Nyha! Nyha...’. The villagers came out of the house early in the morning to find out the cause of the baby’s crying, who decided to take the baby here? A woman who manages and oversees a small orphanage also came out and sees a piece of red cloth wrapped around a baby to keep warm. The woman ran to the baby in a hurry and picked the poor baby up. The infant's body and face were stained with bright red blood, not suitable for a living baby. Somaly comforted the baby to make it feel warm against the cold of the mist and the thick morning dew. "Do not cry! Do not cry! I'm here and you need not fear! ” The head of the orphanage comforts the newborn until the little one stops crying. A pair of black eyes staring back and forth and the light of the stars shining on that infant’s eyes. The bright stars made the people who were running to figure out with their lanterns in their hands look at this baby with pity. "What happened to this infant?" “Why it’s stained with blood like this?”, "Who decided to do such a cruel thing to a newly born baby?". Everyone who saw such a situation spoke in their own words. The woman, who was holding the baby in her arms, removed the diaper to check the baby's sex and found out it was a girl. She held the baby in her arms and said sympathetically: "I’m sorry for you having to meet this fate!". She looks at the sky, and the stars in the morning shine brightly, although the fate of this girl is as dark as this early morning, the darkest time is also when the light can shine clearly and beautifully the most. The head of the orphanage smiled hopefully, and said, "This girl will have a beautiful light in the dark, she is a star that will shine by itself.". The poor female infant was also given the name "Nuong", which is derived from the reversed phrase words in Khmer "she is a star " and "Nuong is a star".
Oil Palm Tree
Time goes by day by day, the teenage girl is now 14 years old. In the courtyard of the center, where there is a field of green grass, a playground for children to play basketball, not far away, there is a little girl, her hair is black, smooth, tied back to the waist. By the strong wind that blows in the afternoon a 14-year-old girl is sitting alone staring at the clouds flying in various shapes in the sky that shine golden when the sun is almost gone. Her lips parted as she smiled at the sight of animals in the sky, which she thought were funny, the beautiful sky turned into a scene for this lonely girl. The minor picked up her honey beige color and the long, fat fingers like worms lined up in five with the nails cut off, she picked it up and tried to imagine if they could touch the beautiful sky. The images were taken in the sky, a natural scene that a poor child like her watched instead of the TV and other smart devices that she was unlucky to own. Her tiny button nose tried to inhale the fresh air, a gift from Mother Earth, and the scent of freedom that no one would disturb her personal time today: " Hey ... Freedom! I love this occasion! ”, dressed in a white shirt and stained black dot, the uniform had been worn for many years, with a blue box pleated skirt almost unseen the lines, she raised her arms and accepted a lively feeling from the natural breeze. Although being alone made her feel happy, at the same time, loneliness came. Nuong changed from a happy face to a sad one when she remembered the reality that no friend agreed to visit and think of strange things alone like this. The adolescent woman looked at an oil palm tree nearby and said, "You are my only friend, the palm tree, but why are you growing so fast?" The young lady walks to an oil palm that is not very high, only 2 meters from the ground. Her tiny hands clasped around the palm tree as if she could get a little warmth from it. Of course! She closes her eyes and imagines that she would have a good friend if this coconut tree were human. A little warmth, although it is not man-made, this little girl always considers everything around her, whether it is trees, birds, pets, chickens or ducks, butterflies or flies, she talks to all. The closest friend in her life is herself. Apart from not having many sympathetic friends, as at a tender age, she did not like to make friends and play with other children. She is often seen playing alone, talking alone, and being alone rather than joining other children. Not only that, she is a child with a messy personality from an early age so that no child can visit her! And this little girl also does not like to touch anything that does not belong to her. This attitude makes other children fear her rather than like her. But in contrast to the fact that she has no relatives or friends, she is known as a smart, well-educated, thoughtful, creative, and imaginative child. Nuong has a different way of learning from other children and often uses pictures as a way to memorize words or formulas taught by the teacher. But among the advantages of being an assertive introvert, she also has disadvantages at the same time. The young lady is known as a stubborn child and ruthless, especially people she thinks are naive, irrational people who like to do the same things and have a conservative mind. Despite being known as a smart kid, this little girl never thought it was a compliment, she always thought that everyone had something in common that she did not understand because if a child is good at something inevitably, they be inferior at other things. This girl has a long-term philosophical mindset from an early age, so she plays with other children less harmoniously because her brain development grows faster than other children. Loneliness and misunderstanding make her a lonely child.
In the orphanage, there were only twenty to thirty children in the center, and she was like a senior student to them. For education, children are taught in the center until the sixth grade, and in high school, they have to go to public school. Due to the lack of funds and poverty, all children have to work in handicrafts to help earn money for the center. On the other hand, Nuong only went to high school until the eighth grade, and she quit the school, no matter if her benefactor beats her or forces her to go back to school. For her, going to school has a lot of friends is favorable, but she does not like too many rules that she has to follow and cannot ask. On the other hand, going to school today requires you to take the extra class because some teachers earn money from outside and are less likely to pay attention to teaching in public schools. Both the rules and the fees made her decide to stop studying and help her godmother earn money by selling handicrafts. One day, a girl named Davy became very ill and it was a serious disease.
Nuong is tying a palm broom, taking a deep breath because she does not know how to help the teacher and Davy. Another teenage girl sitting next to her asked, handcuffed:
"What are you upset about?" A girl named Thu Linda asked.
Nuong: "You know! I am not happy to see Davy sick like this."
Linda: "No one is happy. We all tried our best!" That and she stopped talking and focused on her work.
Nuong is silent for a while, thinking to herself. Then looked at Linda with puzzled eyes and said: "Try our best ?!". "I do not think so. Capability ... human capacity is limitless. We have not used our full potential yet! I will find a way to help the teacher and Davy," she said. "No matter how hard it be, I will never let my loved ones leave me again." After saying that, Nuong turned her face away from Linda and looked at the courtyard. Meanwhile, Linda, a girl who grew up in the same residence, opened her eyes wide. Apart from being introverted and intelligent, Nuong is also a sharp-blunt mouth girl. Probably because she grew up without her parents, she became so stubborn, and since she was a child, she was never afraid of anyone, was never beaten by anyone, because she was always strong and kept fighting all struggles.
One day while walking down the street, she met a teenage girl who used to live in the same neighborhood. But now she is dressed in red high heels, short skirts, and a white shirt walks down the aisle. She has a slender figure, long legs, and slender body, about 1.6 meters tall, generous, with pink and yellow hair dyed. The little girl shouted "Samphors!". The woman turned to see her, she smiled and came to talk to her energetically.
Samphors: "Hey!" The woman continued, "Where are you from? Why did you come out? Do not go to school today?!"
Nuong smiled and replied: "I quit school! I came from looking for a job"
Samphors looked at the 14-year-old teen with wonder, and said: "You are an underage child, where do you go to work?"
Nuong: "When you left the center, you were underaged, too. I was only three years younger than you." she looked at Samphors and asked, "Where are you living now?"
Samphors: "Oh, it is in this area too. By the way, what job are you looking for? And are you being accepted somewhere else?"
The little girl bowed her head and took a deep breath. She nodded. Samphors saw this and asked: "Is there anything wrong in the orphanage?"
Nuong: "Davy is very sick and the teacher does not have enough money to treat her!"
"Davy ?!" Samphors exclaimed. In fact, Samphors and Davy are cousins, but Samphors is the oldest and Davy was only 6 years old when Samphors decided to leave the center earlier, she rarely visited the center.
Nuong: "Do you know any workplace that can accept an underage person like me?"
Samphors hesitates because the job she knows is not a good job. But whether to help or not is an unanswerable question. Samphors thought, "If I could help her, it will be the same as helping Davy, but ..." The woman turned to ask Nuong:
"How much money do you need?
Nuong did not hesitate to answer immediately: "Ten million!"

The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

The Human Among Wolves
My stomach twisted, but he wasn’t finished.
"You're just a pathetic little human," Zayn said, his words deliberate, each one hitting like a slap. "Spreading your legs for the first guy who bothers to notice you."
Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
I was so, so stupid.

Accardi
“I thought you said you were done chasing me?” Gen mocked.
“I am done chasing you.”
Before she could formulate a witty remark, Matteo threw her down. She landed hard on her back atop his dining room table. She tried to sit up when she noticed what he was doing. His hands were working on his belt. It came free of his pants with a violent yank. She collapsed back on her elbows, her mouth gaping open at the display. His face was a mask of sheer determination, his eyes were a dark gold swimming with heat and desire. His hands wrapped around her thighs and pulled her to the edge of the table. He glided his fingers up her thighs and hooked several around the inside of her panties. His knuckles brushed her dripping sex.
“You’re soaking wet, Genevieve. Tell me, was it me that made you this way or him?” his voice told her to be careful with her answer. His knuckles slid down through her folds and she threw her head back as she moaned. “Weakness?”
“You…” she breathed.

Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
