Chapter 1
Above the Rocky Mountains, the blue sky was crystal clear and it stretched endlessly with white clouds .
Annie Robinson, holding a wild lily, had a smile on her face as she continuously changed poses.
"Elena, make sure you take flattering pictures of me. I need to send them to the magazine editor. Take pictures of my left side, it's prettier. Come on, come on, catch this next pose."
It wasn't a usual sight to see the two half-sisters this affectionate toward each other. Elena Walker was three years older than Annie Robinson, but Annie never called her sister. At only 18 years old, Annie stood a head taller than Elena. In fact, when they were together, Elena, who appeared petite and delicate, looked more like the younger sister.
The camera clicked non-stop as Elena continuously changed angles to take photos.
Suddenly, Elena stopped.
"Why did you stop taking pictures?"
Annie's face fell.
Nervously, Elena pointed with her finger towards the foot of the mountain. Annie looked over in confusion.
This was the outskirts, rarely visited by people. Today, it was unusually quiet.
On the curve of the mountain road, dozens of black cars were parked.
"Wow, it's a Rolls-Royce, and there's a Phantom Ferrari, and also the lengthened Cheetah..."
Annie's eyes sparkled as she excitedly exclaimed, all of the cars were worth tens of millions.
But in Elena's line of sight, it was the man in front of the black Rolls-Royce that caught her eye.
His towering figure was tightly wrapped in a black suit. The side profile of his face was distinct, and a pair of sunglasses covered most of his features. He held a silver briefcase and was handing it to two men with bulky faces.
Suddenly, the man seemed to realize something. He casually turned around, and his sharp gaze shot towards Elena like a bolt of lightning.
"Wow, he's so handsome, so cool. He seems to be an international male model..."
Elena's heart skipped a beat, and she decisively grabbed Annie's hand and ran downhill.
"Run! We've gotten into big trouble."
"Elena, why are you being crazy? Why are we running? Haven't you seen a handsome guy before?"
Annie was being pulled along by Elena and didn't understand. She hadn't even gotten a proper look at the handsome guy, how could they just run away like this? Annie let go of Elena's hand. "If you want to run, go ahead. Stop prying into my business, do you really think you're my real sister?"
Elena's heart was pounding. She was breathing heavily, and was anxious. She stomped her feet in frustration. "Annie, run! They have guns!"
Before Elena finished saying the word "guns", a sharp gunshot rang out, and the bullet hit the stone next to them, causing debris to spray onto Annie's face.
Annie was terrified. She covered her ears and screamed as she ran downhill.
She sprinted away in an instant.
Elena was still running fast. This slope was covered with overgrown weeds, and the two girls desperately ran for their lives, tripping over the grass roots and tumbling down the slope.
In that moment of life and death, Elena's mind went blank.
She instinctively pulled Annie, who was huddled up in the thick grass, and rushed towards the main road. A semi-old motorcycle was parked by the roadside.
Elena pushed the muddy and soft Annie onto the bike and hurriedly put a helmet on her head. "Hold on tight, we'll be fine!"
Annie was terrified, trembling all over, nervously murmuring, "Go, go, go..."
Elena's motorcycle quickly entered the lane and sped towards the city.
The winding mountain road swiftly drifted backwards, and suddenly Annie shouted, "They're catching up!"
Elena glanced at the rearview mirror and saw a black car closely tailing them.
She had been riding this used old motorcycle for three years now, and except for the horn not working, it would make a sound wherever it went.
But behind her was a brand new top-of-the-line sports car, going at a speed of over 200 kilometers per hour. Elena tightly gripped the handlebars and pushed the bike to its limit.
Sharp turns, another sharp turn, emergency braking, the sound of the wheels rubbing against the ground sharply pierced their eardrums.
Elena's heart was about to burst. She had never done something like this before, the bike was almost drifting, and she felt like she was floating.
Annie clung tightly to her, too scared to even speak coherently.
The struggle between speed and life, the smell of burning rubber produced by the friction between the tires and the ground filled the air.
In the Ferrari Phantom sports car, a handsome man wore a sinister grin on his face, his strong hands firmly gripping the steering wheel.
Through his dark sunglasses, he could see the old and worn-out motorcycle fleeing fast ahead.
The girl riding the motorcycle, wearing blue jeans and a plain T-shirt, with shiny dark hair blowing freely in the wind, had a sunny and sweet youthfulness that was captivating.
This girl, since the moment he saw her, he felt she was different.
Beneath her sweet appearance, she concealed a wild personality.
If this girl had captured evidence of their illicit transaction, and handed it over to the authorities, the AF Group would be in big trouble.
A wicked smile hung on his lips as he suddenly accelerated and violently rammed into the backseat of the motorcycle.
"Hold on tight." Elena growled low, seeing the Ferrari rushing towards them in the rearview mirror.
On one side of the highway was a mountain that was as sharp as a knife, and on the other side was a cliff, with a rolling river below.
Elena steadied the front of the bike, made a sharp turn, and avoided the collision with the Ferrari.
Hassan Al-Farouk's handsome face turned dark, feeling somewhat defeated.
In his many years of playing with cars, this was the first time he had encountered a driver who reacted faster than him. He immediately turned the steering wheel, preparing to launch another attack.

“No, Firecat.” He placed an index finger on my lips. “This will take your mind off that son of a bitch.” His strong hands pulled me by the waist until I felt his hard manhood.

"Scared?" He smirked, palm sliding down my waist, fingers tracing slow, burning circles. "Yet you shiver... not from cold."
I lunged for the candlestick, but he caught my wrist, pinning it overhead. His knee forced my legs apart.
"When your father gave you to me," his lips brushed my ear, voice a dark rumble, "you were already mine."

The Contract Wife: Marriage Of Malice

I didn't tell him to stop.
Instead, my fingers curled into his shirt, clutching the fabric as though it was my only anchor. Something in him snapped—something he had been holding back for too long. His mouth found mine in a kiss that wasn't tender, but hungry, desperate.
I gasped into him, his hand sliding up to cup my jaw, holding me as if afraid I might vanish.
"You drive me insane," he breathed against my mouth, his lips trailing to my throat. "I can't lose you, Ella. Not you."
My head fell back, a soft sound escaping me as his fingers memorized my waist. My anger melted beneath his desperation.
"James..." I whispered, more plea than protest.
His hand caught mine, fingers threading together tightly. "I'll bring him back. I swear it. Just... don't turn away from me. Please."
The word please—low, ragged, almost broken—undid me more than anything else could have.
