"I'm seeing someone too… Aiden Blackwood."
The name alone freezes the room.
Aiden Blackwood—the elusive billionaire, the one no one dares to even approach.
Alina has never met him. Not even once.
But then he appears.
He wraps an arm around her waist, kisses her like he owns her, and whispers:"Hey, wifey. Did I keep you waiting too long?"
Humiliation flips into shocked silence.
Later, away from prying eyes, he makes her an offer she can't refuse.
"My grandmother expects me to bring a girlfriend to her birthday next weekend. You just volunteered."
It's blackmail wrapped in charm.
Aiden will fix her lie.
In return, she'll play the role of his perfect girlfriend.
Smile. Behave.Say "yes, honey" on command.
After that?
They'll go back to being strangers.
Only… nothing about Aiden Blackwood feels like something she can walk away from.
Because lies like this?
They don't end quietly.
They turn into something dangerously real.
Chapter 1
Everything was perfect—except for the man she was celebrating.
The candles flickered gently, filling the kitchen with a soft glow. The smell of slow-cooked stew filled the air, and the table was set carefully. Alina moved around the room, humming to herself, but her smile didn't quite seem real.
She had spent hours making the meal, making sure everything was perfect, hoping that tonight, just for once, he would actually show up. It was their third anniversary, and she had hoped tonight might be different.
She paused by the window and glanced at the clock. He had left hours ago after receiving what he claimed was an urgent call from the office. It wasn't unusual for his work to pull him away at odd times, but today, she had hoped that would change because there had always been one excuse after another. Still, she held on to the hope that he'd come back soon. And when he did, everything would be ready.
Her phone buzzed on the counter. Wiping her hands quickly on a towel, she picked it up and saw his name flash across the screen.
Kelvin
*I can't make it home, but I'll be at the penthouse. Let's celebrate our anniversary there instead. Xoxo.
Her heart lifted instantly. He hadn't forgotten. He'd just made other plans to surprise her. A wave of happiness washed over her. Maybe tonight would turn out even better than she had hoped.
She was about to reply when a voice broke through the moment.
"There you are"
Alina turned to see her best friend, Lorraine, standing in the doorway with a deep frown on her face.
"I told you this morning we had plans,"
Alina sighed and set her phone down. "Lorraine, today's our third anniversary. You really thought I wouldn't do something for it?"
Lorraine shook her head, her expression tight. "I get that, Lina. But still... you've been doing everything alone. Doesn't that bother you? He left you to plan, cook, clean like it's your duty or something. A real relationship is about teamwork, not you playing housemaid just to keep love alive."
Alina bit her lip, a little stung by Lorraine's words, because deep down, she knew they were true. Still, she quickly forced a smile. "Trust me, Kelvin isn't like that. He's been good to me. His job is demanding, and I get that. He's waiting for me at the penthouse now, we're going to celebrate there instead."
Lorraine didn't argue further, she just shrugged. "Fine. Do you need help with anything?"
Alina smiled and nodded toward the pots and dishes still waiting to be finished. " Yes please "
Together, they moved quickly, working in sync like they always did. It didn't take long before everything was ready.
Once done, Alina disappeared into the bedroom to change. She slipped into a simple yet elegant dress, added a touch of makeup, and smiled at her reflection in the mirror. Tonight was going to be special, she could feel it.
She grabbed one of Kelvin's car keys from his room, returned to the kitchen, carefully packed the dishes into a basket, and looked at Lorraine. "Alright, let's go."
With everything in hand, the two of them left the house and headed to the car.
The drive to the penthouse was quiet. Lorraine glanced at Alina now and then but didn't say much. Alina, on the other hand, kept her eyes on the road, her mind filled with thoughts of how the night would turn out; how it would be far more special than she had imagined.
She smiled softly to herself. Three years. After everything they'd been through, tonight would be proof that their love was still strong. Sure, the last two anniversaries hadn't worked out because of Kelvin's hectic schedules, but him making time for this one? It meant the world to her. She couldn't wait to see the look on his face when she showed up with everything she had prepared.
The car came to a halt minutes later in front of the penthouse. Lorraine glanced at Alina, who was gathering the packed food and fixing her hair one last time in the mirror.
"Are you sure you don't want to come up?" Alina asked hopefully.
Lorraine shook her head immediately. "Nope. I'll wait here. You know how I feel about Kelvin. I'd rather not fake a smile tonight. Take your time, I'll be here."
Alina let out a small laugh, though deep down she wished Lorraine would come with her. But she didn't push. "Alright. I won't be long."
She stepped out of the car, holding the basket of food carefully, and walked toward the building with a light heart. Everything felt so normal, so right. She was excited to finally relax and celebrate their anniversary properly for the first time in three years.
Inside the penthouse, she headed straight to the dining area and placed the basket neatly on the table. She looked around, but the place was quiet.
"Oh, the bedroom," she remembered, smiling to herself. Smoothing her dress, she walked down the familiar hallway to the master bedroom. Her hand gripped the doorknob, and she pushed the door open with a soft call.
"Ba...by..."
Her voice caught in her throat, and she froze in place. Her eyes widened. The smile vanished from her face as she took in the scene before her.
There, on the bed, two figures were tangled under the duvet. The soft murmur of voices, slow, throaty groans sent a shiver of dread down Alina's spine.
Before she could fully process what she was seeing, the duvet shifted. The covers slipped down slightly and Kelvin's face came into view.
Alina felt her breath catch in her throat.
"Let's continue, alright?" said a voice. A voice far too familiar.
She stepped fully into the room, her heart pounding painfully in her chest. And then she saw her.
Jennifer.
Her own stepsister, lying in bed with Kelvin, both of them completely exposed in every way that mattered.
Alina staggered back a step, her eyes darting between them, disbelief clouding her vision.
"Kelvin?" she choked out, voice trembling. "Jenny?"
Kelvin didn't even look at her. He stood up, silent and cold, walking past her like she didn't exist. He went to the wardrobe and casually pulled on a pair of pants, moving like this was just another ordinary night.
Alina's hands trembled. Her heart broke into pieces she couldn't gather fast enough.
Then Jennifer's voice cut through the silence, sharp, smug, and unforgiving.
"Not exactly how you pictured your night, huh?"
Alina's eyes met her stepsister's, and for a moment, she couldn't breathe. She had imagined this scene in her worst nightmares, but now, standing in the middle of it, it felt far worse than she ever could have dreamed.
She had spent hours preparing a surprise. She had dressed up. She had believed in their love.
And now... this?

Even worse was overhearing Darrell laugh to his friends: "She's useful—obedient, doesn't cause trouble, handles housework, and I can fuck her whenever I need relief. She's basically a live-in maid with benefits." He made crude thrusting gestures, sending his friends into laughter.

The mafia princess return
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
The War God Alpha's Arranged Bride

Invisible To Her Bully
My Possessive Alpha Twins For Mate
My drunk stepfather remained indifferent, his weight suffocating, making it hard to breathe as my heart raced.
Suddenly, the door slammed open, and two figures burst in.
"Get off her!" a deafening roar echoed.
I didn't expect the twin brothers who'd bullied me at school to come charging in like gods to save me.
After my grandmother passed, I had to move in with my mom and stepdad, who treated me like a servant. I prayed every day for my 18th birthday to come, so l could leave and escape this broken home.
However, on my first day at my new school, l encountered the legendary twins everyone feared.
To make matters worse, the Moon Goddess revealed they were both my mates!
After helping me out with my stepdad, my twin mate cornered me, played with my hair, and whispered possessively, "You belong to us, our little mate..."
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."
New to the world of shifters, Draven is human on the run. A beautiful girl who no one could protect. Domonic is the cold Alpha of the Red Wolf Pack. A brotherhood of twelve wolves that live by twelve rules. Rules which they vowed could NEVER be broken.

But she doesn’t know about the child she’s carrying or that the moment she left, Domonic decided rules were made to be broken - and now will he ever find her again? Will she forgive him?
The Biker Alpha Who Became My Second Chance Mate
"You're like a sister to me."
Those were the actual words that broke the camel's back.
Not after what just happened. Not after the hot, breathless, soul-shaking night we spent tangled in each other's arms.
I knew from the beginning that Tristan Hayes was a line I shouldn't cross.
He wasn't just anyone, he was my brother's best friend. The man I spent years secretly wanting.
But that night... we were broken. We had just buried our parents. And the grief was too heavy, too real...so I begged him to touch me.
To make me forget. To fill the silence that death left behind.
And he did. He held me like I was something fragile.
Kissed me like I was the only thing he needed to breathe.
Then left me bleeding with six words that burned deeper than rejection ever could.
So, I ran. Away from everything that cost me pain.
Now, five years later, I'm back.
Fresh from rejecting the mate who abused me. Still carrying the scars of a pup I never got to hold.
And the man waiting for me at the airport isn't my brother.
It's Tristan.
And he's not the guy I left behind.
He's a biker.
An Alpha.
And when he looked at me, I knew there was no where else to run to.

It’s just newness, I tell myself firmly.

I’m not going to let one cold stare undo that.
