Introduction
"Shhh, no talking." He mocked me again.
I noticed him sucking his two fingers for a moment before touching me down there again, without breaking our eye contact in front of the mirror.
My lips parted in delight. My gaze refused to leave him because I desperately desired to see his menacing eyes.
"You didn’t tell me you’re a virgin."
"Is that a big deal? Did I not satisfy you with my performance?" I chuckled defensively.

Chapter 1
Jade’s POV
Fate is inevitable. I cannot let that burn me. I can’t stand the fire it gives and let myself be consumed. Fate? I refuse to be its victim.
"Jade Lewis?"
I poked fun at the bouncer in this high-end lounge by raising my brow. His eyes lingered on me with a hint of suspicion when he handed me my ID. I grinned.
"Why? Too early for a hot mess like me?" I whispered in his ears and giggled as I pushed his chest slightly and continued walking to the entrance.
I threw the fake ID at the trashcan that I saw before treating the hallway as if it was my own runaway. The red dress that’s hugging my body reflects the confidence inside me. The adrenaline immediately kicked in when I smelt the familiar scent of my workplace. Damn. I thought I wouldn’t come back to this, but I guess here I am.
Usually, at this point, I would be talking to Oli as we work on our target. But tonight, I’m on my own. I sat on the high stool and signaled the bartender for a drink. I didn’t even notice the man who started a conversation as soon as I sat here.
I glared at the man who stood beside me with a look of motive in his eyes. "Are you Beau?"
His brows met, indicating that he had no idea what I was talking about. I rolled my eyes.
"Then fvck off." I said and sipped on my drink.
"Hey, I got this man." Serio pep-talked the man, and he left after a while.
"I’ve heard about Oli," he started the conversation secretly. I didn’t even glance at him. I focused on my drink as I fell into a hole of deep thinking.
Oli is my accomplice in all the bribery that I’ve done before. He’s got the brain of a nerd, so he was the perfect man to work with. He’s also the twin of my best friend Eli, who’s the reason he’s behind bars because of an attempted murder case. And that's all the reason why I’m back in this disgusting place.
"Who are you with?" he asked.
I stared at him, and he immediately got it. His eyes were tinged with shock and exhaustion. He knows what we’re up to. He’s been working here for a long time now, and he’s one of us. He’s not an accomplice, but he doesn’t sell us to the cops, maybe because we’re all the same. We’re just desperate people in this unfair and unjust society.
"You’re alone?"
I nodded and avoided his eyes.
"Dude, I thought you'd never come back here again."
I thought so too. I said to myself. Curiosity is obviously growing on him. Since I was lost for words, I stood up after jugging my drink.
"Take care," he said. I just nodded and scanned the whole area.
Since the night was still early, there were only a few groups of men here. I did all my research before I came here. Other than the background, I missed the most important part of the process: knowing his physical attributes.
I didn't take my eyes off the man who’s seated on the c-type couch who’s with the group of three men. His loose tie dangles freely around his neck. The first three buttons are pressed. His legs are spread out on the couch, or I should say, his massiveness is just too much for that pitiful seat. He's sipping rum from a glass.
Heat went straight up to my cheeks as I realized he was staring at me as well. I needed to finish my drink while locking my eyes with him. I thought I somehow affected him, but when he removed his eyes from me, that’s when I got alarmed. Damn, no way.
I stood up confidently without breaking sight. "Let’s get this done." I said to myself.
When I reached the corner of their couch, I intentionally poured my drink so I could get his attention. His pants got wet because of my evil stunt.
I exclaimed."Oh God!"
His cold, ruthless eyes went to me. I continued to act as if these were all coincidental and as if I wasn't here to do the first step of making my way through his bank accounts. Damn. I need Oli at this moment.
"I’m so sorry," I pleaded and got the handkerchief peeking from his pants and did the honor of wiping him. His colleagues don’t seem to care since they are all busy with their own things.
My hands went to his tense legs and to his crotch area. Of course, I did that on purpose.
I smiled flirtatiously when I proceeded to wipe the invisible liquid on his pants. I slowly looked up at his eyes? Bingo. I kind of saw a hint of desire and amusement in it. I never thought you’d be this easy, Mr. Spencer.
I wet my lips and sat on his legs without asking for his consent. I saw from my peripheral how the older man at his table glanced at us for a moment, but I didn’t mind it. Or should I say we both didn’t mind it?
"I know what you’re doing, miss." He uttered, just enough for me to hear.
I smirked and caressed the back of his head. He smells like fresh wood and nature. Something so manly and yet refreshing. A very new scent for me. It made me dizzy or more like drowsy.
"I’m just trying to ask for your forgiveness." I said and bit my lower lip. Damn. I’m so sick of this. I never thought I would be pulling this kind of stunt again.
"I rarely forgive humans. I hate them. "
I burst into a feminine laugh when he spoke as if he was not a human as well. What is he? A beast? Oh damn, I love his humor.
The point of my nose touched his cheeks, making me smell him more. For a while, we got silent because of the sudden locking of sight we did right there.
I look at his lips. They look plump and kissable. I wonder how it tastes.
"My kiss tastes like forgiveness." I whispered without thinking much about what I had said.
He smirked. I’ve lost my sanity. His lips are like a magnet that pulls me. His eyes are windows of his soul, making me want to knock on whatever it is that’s inside him. So without thinking, I pressed my lips to his, making me reach the heavens.
His lips taste more than what he looks like. My mind melted right away, feeling the softness of his lips. He tastes like mint and a familiar liquor. Something tastes unique and expensive despite being familiar.
"Who are you?" He asked as soon as the kiss ended. I gulped the building pressure in my throat as I saw his eyes marked with amusement and arousal.
No. Damn you, Jade. You’re not here for this. My heartbeat went wild when I looked at him after the swift kiss. But I acted calm. I can’t. I can’t do this. Before I could even do more crazy things, slightly dizzy, I bid my goodbye.
"Nice meeting you too, Mr. Spencer."
His jaw moved harshly while he watched me stand up. Did I make him mad with my kissews? I smirked and turned my back on him. I cursed continuously, thinking about what I just did.
I walked into the hallway where emergency exits are located. I felt more dizzy as the blinding lights walked with me. I bumped into a man, and I didn’t bother to answer his non-audible words. One man even held my hand, but I shrugged it away because of my nausea.
"Miss," With one deep voice and one slight touch, my senses woke me up. The mighty Beau Spencer, my supposed target for tonight, came after me. And what might be his reason, huh?
His eyes looked stoic. As if we hadn’t shared a kiss and gotten affected a while ago. His first words proved that I was right about what I was thinking.
I held my head, feeling the dizziness kicking in. "Fvck, Jade. You’re drunk with a single drink?"
"Jade, right? I suggest you go home. Somebody put a chemical in your drink a while ago. Are you with anyone? A friend? Or your man perhaps?"
I stopped for a while, and after a few seconds, a playful smile appeared on my lips. Since I’m dizzy, my body asked for support, making me snake my arm around his neck. He looked down on me as his jaw protruded.
"No," I said, shaking my head."I don’t have a man. But you can be my man if you want to. " I whispered.
"Don’t misunderstand my concern, miss."
I gritted my teeth, feeling my ego being stepped into. I laughed without emotion and stared at his eyes.
"Then leave me the fvck alone." I said with conviction before turning my back. I tried, alright? But if he’s not going to cooperate with me, then I might as well step back.
"Jade," He grabbed my arms, making me bounce into his body again. I groaned as I felt more dizzy.
"Damn it." I heard him utter something, but I wasn’t able to hear it properly.
"I’ll take you home."
I chuckled. "I can go home alone. It’s still early and the moon is high up, Mister. "
"That’s why you’re not safe here."
I spaced out with his magnetic field being a little too strong. I swallowed the desire I'm trying to suppress. I’ve kissed a lot of men before, but never did I feel this desperate and addicted with just one shared kiss.
"You promise to make me safe, then." I whispered.
His eyes were filled with lust and a hint of restraint. I didn’t wait for his words and gave him a deep kiss. There’s no turning back now.
I guess fate is really inevetable. Because if it’s not, then this life would not burn me like this. I wouldn’t be kissing a stranger just because I was one of fate’s victims. A fate where fairness is something I should be earning in the most disgusting way.

Badass in Disguise
"Jade, I need to check your—" the nurse began.
"OUT!" I snarled with enough force that both women backed toward the door.
Once feared by Shadow Organization that drugged me to replicate my abilities into a more controllable version, I had escaped my restraints and detonated their entire facility, ready to die alongside my captors.
Instead, I woke up in a school infirmary with women arguing around me, their voices piercing my skull. My outburst froze them in shock—clearly they hadn't expected such a reaction. One woman threatened as she left, "We'll discuss this attitude when you get home."
The bitter truth? I've been reborn into the body of an overweight, weak, and supposedly dim-witted high school girl. Her life is filled with bullies and tormentors who've made her existence miserable.
But they have no idea who they're dealing with now.
I didn't survive as the world's deadliest assassin by allowing anyone to push me around. And I certainly won't start now.
Accardi
“I thought you said you were done chasing me?” Gen mocked.
“I am done chasing you.”
Before she could formulate a witty remark, Matteo threw her down. She landed hard on her back atop his dining room table. She tried to sit up when she noticed what he was doing. His hands were working on his belt. It came free of his pants with a violent yank. She collapsed back on her elbows, her mouth gaping open at the display. His face was a mask of sheer determination, his eyes were a dark gold swimming with heat and desire. His hands wrapped around her thighs and pulled her to the edge of the table. He glided his fingers up her thighs and hooked several around the inside of her panties. His knuckles brushed her dripping sex.
“You’re soaking wet, Genevieve. Tell me, was it me that made you this way or him?” his voice told her to be careful with her answer. His knuckles slid down through her folds and she threw her head back as she moaned. “Weakness?”
“You…” she breathed.
Genevieve loses a bet she can’t afford to pay. In a compromise, she agrees to convince any man her opponent chooses to go home with her that night. What she doesn’t realize when her sister’s friend points out the brooding man sitting alone at the bar, is that man won’t be okay with just one night with her. No, Matteo Accardi, Don of one of the largest gangs in New York City doesn’t do one night stands. Not with her anyway.
Mated by Contract to the Alpha
William—my devastatingly handsome, wealthy werewolf fiancé destined to become Delta—was supposed to be mine forever. After five years together, I was ready to walk down the aisle and claim my happily ever after.
Instead, I found him with her. And their son.
Betrayed, jobless, and drowning in my father's medical bills, I hit rock bottom harder than I ever imagined possible. Just when I thought I'd lost everything, salvation came in the form of the most dangerous man I'd ever encountered.
Damien Sterling—future Alpha of the Silver Moon Shadow Pack and ruthless CEO of Sterling Group—slid a contract across his desk with predatory grace.
“Sign this, little doe, and I'll give you everything your heart desires. Wealth. Power. Revenge. But understand this—the moment you put pen to paper, you become mine. Body, soul, and everything in between.”
I should have run. Instead, I signed my name and sealed my fate.
Now I belong to the Alpha. And he's about to show me just how wild love can be.
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
