Introduction
Chapter 1
A stretch Lincoln pulled up silently in front of the Jeffrey Technologies building.
Ophelia Blake pushed open the car door and stepped out.
Luca's steady voice came from the back seat, "Ms. Blake, do you need me to come up with you?"
"No need," she said without looking back. "I only need ten minutes."
Ophelia gripped the document envelope in her hand, her knuckles turning slightly white.
Just half an hour ago, she had found a marriage certificate in the corner of a study drawer.
The names on the certificate were her husband, Jeffrey Adams, and his childhood sweetheart, Freya Stewart. Jeffrey and Freya's marriage registration date was a full three years earlier than hers.
She and Jeffrey had been married for three years, always sleeping in separate rooms. She thought he was being respectful because of some sexual dysfunction, but it turned out this consideration was hiding a dirty truth she knew nothing about.
Reaching the CEO's office on the top floor, Ophelia was about to knock when she heard suggestive sounds from inside.
She froze, peaking through the crack of the door.
On the wide sofa in the office, Freya was straddling Jeffrey's lap, her arms wrapped tightly around his neck, kissing passionately.
Ophelia's blood seemed to freeze in that instant, her body trembling uncontrollably.
Without hesitation, she pushed the door open hard.
"Ophelia, what are you doing here?"
A flash of panic crossed Jeffrey's face as he immediately stood up.
She laughed coldly. "If I hadn't come, how would I have seen this great show?"
She strode forward and slapped Jeffrey hard across the face.
"I was going to leave you some dignity, but you're the one who's shameless!"
Jeffrey's head jerked to the side, a handprint instantly appearing on his cheek as he looked at Ophelia in disbelief.
"Jeffrey, are you okay?" Freya immediately rushed over to check on him, her eyes full of concern.
Just as the atmosphere grew tense, a childish voice called out, "Daddy!"
A small figure ran in from outside the door.
It was a little girl about three or four years old, wearing a pink princess dress, with a timid little face and eyes identical to Freya's.
The little girl was Jeffrey and Ophelia's adopted daughter, named Kaida Adams.
Ophelia's expression became complicated in an instant.
Kaida was adopted by Jeffrey six months ago. She didn't like children and had never thought about adopting, but Jeffrey had strongly persuaded her at the time:
"I'm the one who wronged you, making it so you can't have your own children. Adopting a child can make up for our regret of not having kids, and it'll stop Mom and Dad from nagging us about having a baby. Plus, Kaida is so cute, she'll definitely bring you a lot of joy."
Ophelia had softened for a moment, not wanting to see him feel guilty and blame himself, so she agreed.
After bringing Kaida home, she tried hard to be a good mother, but somehow, no matter how well she treated Kaida, Kaida never warmed up to her. Whenever Kaida was with her, the girl would cry and fuss nonstop.
Kaida had now run to Freya and hugged her leg.
"Mommy, pick me up."
Hearing that word, Ophelia's heart felt like it had been struck hard by a blunt object.
Ophelia looked at Kaida's face, so similar to Freya's.
So that was it! The adoption was all a lie. Kaida was actually Jeffrey and Freya's child!
Furious, she pulled out the marriage certificate and threw it hard in Jeffrey's face.
Jeffrey's face turned deathly pale. He bent down to pick up the certificate, his fingers gripping it until they turned white. "Where did you get this?"
"Does it matter?" Ophelia took a step back, looking at him coldly, her tone full of mockery. "What matters is that our marriage has been a scam from beginning to end! Jeffrey, you're really something! You fooled me for three whole years!"
Freya held Kaida, a flash of panic crossing her face, but she quickly composed herself. "Ms. Blake, it's not what you think..."
"Shut up." Ophelia didn't even look at her. "You're a homewrecker. You don't get to talk to me."
Jeffrey finally dropped his gentle mask, anger showing in his eyes. "Ophelia, have you made enough of a scene? With your background, being able to marry me is already a great honor for you. Just keep playing the good Mrs. Adams. You're a helpless orphan with no one to rely on—what right do you have to question me?"
Those words were like a knife, stabbing into the most vulnerable part of Ophelia's heart. But strangely, she didn't feel pain, only coldness.
"Jeffrey, you think because I'm an orphan with no one to back me up, you can just bully me however you want, is that it?" She stared at him, asking each word deliberately.
Jeffrey was caught off guard and softened his tone. "For the sake of all these years together, I can let this go, as long as you apologize to Freya."
Ophelia laughed in anger. Just as she was about to speak, a steady voice suddenly came from behind her:
"Ms. Blake, do you need help?"
Luca had appeared at the door at some point. He didn't come in, just stood at the entrance, his posture respectful yet carrying an undeniable presence.
Jeffrey and Freya both froze. Though they didn't know who this person was, they could tell he wasn't ordinary.
Jeffrey frowned, looking at Ophelia with confusion, clearly not believing she could know someone like this.
But she walked straight toward Luca, her tone already calm again. "I'm done here. Let's go."
"Wait." Jeffrey stepped forward to grab her, his eyes moving between the two of them with a hint of suspicion. "Ophelia, who is he?"
Luca stepped forward, blocking her from Jeffrey, his tone firm. "Sir, please let go, or I'll have my lawyer charge you with harassment."
Jeffrey's face darkened, his tone unfriendly. "So that's why you're so bold today—you've latched onto another rich guy?"
"Though your taste is pretty bad, finding such an old man!"
Ophelia laughed coldly. Before she could speak, Luca said, "I've already recorded what you just said. You'll be receiving a lawyer's letter."
Jeffrey's expression changed several times, and he said angrily, "Ophelia, don't forget we're still married! This is cheating!"
Ophelia scoffed and turned to look at him. "Jeffrey, did you forget that my marriage certificate with you is fake? I have no relationship with you. Right now, I'm single!"
With that, Ophelia didn't spare him another glance and strode away.

The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

The War God Alpha's Arranged Bride
Yet Alexander made his decision clear to the world: “Evelyn is the only woman I will ever marry.”
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
Oops, Wrong Girl to Bully
My back hit the desk. Pain exploded through my skull.
"Girls like you don't get to dream about guys like Kai." Bella's breath was hot on my face. "You don't get to write pathetic love letters."
She shoved me again. Harder.
"Maybe if you weren't such a desperate little—"
I fell. My head cracked against the corner.
Warmth trickled down my neck. Blood.
Their laughter turned to gasps.
The door slammed.
I tried to stand. Couldn't. The room was spinning, fading to black.
Someone... please...

The Biker's Fate
I squeezed my eyes shut.
"Dani," he pressed. "Do you get me?"
"No, Austin, I don't," I admitted as I pulled my robe closed again and sat up. "You confuse me."
He dragged his hands down his face. "Tell me what's on your mind."
I sighed. "You're everything my parents warned me against. You're secretive, but you're also honest. I feel wholly protected by you, but then you scare me more than anyone I've ever known. You're a bad boy, but when I dated a so-called good one, he turned out to be the devil, so, yeah, I don't get you because you're not what I expected. You drive me crazier than anyone I've ever met, but then you make me feel complete. I'm feeling things I don't quite know how to process and that makes me want to run. I don't want to give up something that might be really, really good, but I also don't want to be stupid and fall for a boy just because he's super pretty and makes me come."
Danielle Harris is the daughter of an overprotective police chief and has led a sheltered life. As a kindergarten teacher, she's as far removed from the world of Harleys and bikers as you could get, but when she's rescued by the sexy and dangerous Austin Carver, her life is changed forever.

Will Booker be able to find the source of the threat before it's too late?
Will Dani finally give her heart to a man who's everything she's been warned about?
The Biker Alpha Who Became My Second Chance Mate
"You're like a sister to me."
Those were the actual words that broke the camel's back.
Not after what just happened. Not after the hot, breathless, soul-shaking night we spent tangled in each other's arms.
I knew from the beginning that Tristan Hayes was a line I shouldn't cross.
He wasn't just anyone, he was my brother's best friend. The man I spent years secretly wanting.
But that night... we were broken. We had just buried our parents. And the grief was too heavy, too real...so I begged him to touch me.
To make me forget. To fill the silence that death left behind.
And he did. He held me like I was something fragile.
Kissed me like I was the only thing he needed to breathe.
Then left me bleeding with six words that burned deeper than rejection ever could.
So, I ran. Away from everything that cost me pain.
Now, five years later, I'm back.
Fresh from rejecting the mate who abused me. Still carrying the scars of a pup I never got to hold.
And the man waiting for me at the airport isn't my brother.
It's Tristan.
And he's not the guy I left behind.
He's a biker.
An Alpha.
And when he looked at me, I knew there was no where else to run to.
