Chapter 1
"What brought you here?" I asked the handsome young prisoner sitting on the ground of the royal dungeon.
He sobs, unable to look at my face, his hand covering his eyes. "I didn't do anything. I told my father his reign was over as he had ruled over sixty years…" He breaks down again.
"How many years have you been here?"
"This' three years now." I couldn't control my tears, I wept for this lovely guy, he was so handsome to be in prison especially as he did no wrong. He said his father had ruled for more than sixty years, and still refused to hand over rulership to him. Sixty years was the permitted tenure for all wolf kings, I knew his father personally. He was such a good king till his Luna died and he married a second wife. Pandora is a hybrid, one thousand years old. I wondered what would've attracted him to a witch and vampire aside from her striking beauty. She is a cold, evil and wicked creature who has made life miserable for the werewolves for over three decades.
"Would you love to get out of here?" I asked the prince thoughtfully, my mind told me there is no way he wouldn't love to but he was afraid.
"No, I….." He was short of words and tears streaming down his eyes like a river. It was my first time seeing a young man crying this way. "I'll be directly on the path to my death." He muttered and I was shocked.
"What?" I screamed. My chest beat heavily with anger. I was determined to get revenge on this evil wicked queen.
"Tell me plainly, who brought you here and why?" The guards that were standing over were amazed, my companions afraid. They feared Queen Pandora instead, her action if she heard what I was saying but I wasn't afraid either.
"You should know," he replied coldly. "I don't want to incur the wrath of the queen further."
"Sorry, what do you mean?" I shook my head in disbelief. "You mean you'll let fear stand in between your chances of getting freed?" I shrugged my shoulders in disbelief, this woman has made a god out of herself among the werewolves. Though her husband the king has mated with her on several occasions, she refuses to take up the werewolf nature. Such a mysterious creature! No one was happy to have a vampire, the greatest enemy of the wolves ruling them but none had a choice either. Pandora succeeded in charming the king with her evil powers to listen to her, right now she's the one in control of the entire wolf kingdom consisting of three thousand packs. I was determined to bring down this evil queen, no matter what it takes and make sure Prince Douglas assumed the throne, he's the favorite of everyone who loves good things.
Being the winner of the Miss Wolf, I had almost equal powers with the real Wolf Queen. I was also addressed as 'Wolf Queen' except that mine was acquired while Pandora's came as a royal right, because she was married to the king. Pandora had succeeded in winning past queens to herself, causing them to keep mute concerning the ills that were going on in the society, among the werewolves which she was the major cause. She tried this with me when I became the winner.
I knew she wouldn't support me in taking her step-son out of the prison but I had to do this. I can't keep quiet and let this gentle prince continue to rot away in prison. He has no one to speak for him, but I'm here to speak for him.
When I was crowned Miss Wolf, I chose prison service as my area of target. My predecessors focused on areas like women empowerment, the girl child and similar areas. I was inspired to choose a different field, all I did was for Douglas. If I can rescue him and he gets to rule on the throne, suffering, poverty and torture would end abruptly. It would be a thing of the past. One great enemy lay in the way of achieving this, Pandora, yet I'm not deterred.
"Do you know I have the power to get you out of here Douglas?" I added his name so he knew I had authority, normally no ordinary person would address him as such. 'Your Royal Highness' was his title and even his jailers addressed him this way.
"It's not me getting out of here that is the issue, I'll gladly welcome that but it's where I'll go. The queen will find me and that will be my death." As he was speaking a soldier entered the cell room, he looked like one that carried a heavy message that would shake the whole universe.
"Queen Cassandra, Her Royal Majesty, the Wolf Queen orders you to leave the presence of Prince Douglas right now." I frowned in disbelief. Which normal queen would interfere with the activities of a crowned queen. A luna and a pageant queen, according to the Supreme Laws of the Wolf Council have almost equal power. Also according to the law, no one, not even the royal queen, is permitted to interfere in my duties, the king not being an exemption.
"Hello, where is she?" I wanted to realize how Pandora knew I was talking with her step-son. Could it be the attendants of the prison that informed her? A thought flew into my mind and I recalled she was a hybrid, a witch who had the ability to see what's going on in any area that concerned her. She must have that instinct that someone is attempting to rescue her royal prisoner.
"She knows what you're doing right from her castle." The soldier replied me.
The castle was far away, the royal dungeon was located in the cave under the mountains some kilometers away.
I have to block her from knowing what I'm up to least she would destroy my plans and future ones. I have to do this immediately. Leaving the cell Douglas was, I intended doing this but those around me thought it was heeding to Pandora's order.
"You're leaving me?" Prince Douglas cried stretching out in hands, he really needed help I could see but was reluctant to admit for fear of the queen. Such a handsome young man needed to be married, with a family of his own and a great life but here he was in prison wasting his years. It wasn't his fault either, he had been placed in this situation by his wicked stepmother who didn't want to see him ascend the throne. Because of this I felt like fighting to death just to save him.
"Don't be dismayed, I'll come right back for you." I hurried out with my companions, some of the members of my pageantry foundation, who followed after me. We got into the Bugatti La Voiture Noire I was gifted and the driver drove away at a terrific speed.

Before I could answer, he moved closer, suddenly looming over me, his face inches from mine. I felt my breath caught, my lips parting in surprise.
"Then this is the price for speaking ill of me to others," he murmured, nipping my lower lip before claiming my mouth in a real kiss. It began as punishment but quickly transformed into something else entirely as I responded, my initial rigidity melting into compliance, then active participation.
My breathing accelerated, small sounds escaping my throat as he explored my body. His touches were both punishment and pleasure, drawing shudders from me that I thought he felt reverberating through his own body.

“There are no limits between us,” he chuckled, the mirth sparkling in his gorgeous eyes. “And all of this stems from the night you gave me both pain and pleasure. I’m simply returning the favor.”
He took two steps forward, and I stepped back. “But…” The memory of what I had done filled me with fear, and I knew I had to get out of there. “I…”
“No, Firecat.” He placed an index finger on my lips. “This will take your mind off that son of a bitch.” His strong hands pulled me by the waist until I felt his hard manhood.

Before she could formulate a witty remark, Matteo threw her down. She landed hard on her back atop his dining room table. She tried to sit up when she noticed what he was doing. His hands were working on his belt. It came free of his pants with a violent yank. She collapsed back on her elbows, her mouth gaping open at the display. His face was a mask of sheer determination, his eyes were a dark gold swimming with heat and desire. His hands wrapped around her thighs and pulled her to the edge of the table. He glided his fingers up her thighs and hooked several around the inside of her panties. His knuckles brushed her dripping sex.
“You’re soaking wet, Genevieve. Tell me, was it me that made you this way or him?” his voice told her to be careful with her answer. His knuckles slid down through her folds and she threw her head back as she moaned. “Weakness?”

He didn't finish. He didn't need to.
I didn't tell him to stop.
Instead, my fingers curled into his shirt, clutching the fabric as though it was my only anchor. Something in him snapped—something he had been holding back for too long. His mouth found mine in a kiss that wasn't tender, but hungry, desperate.
I gasped into him, his hand sliding up to cup my jaw, holding me as if afraid I might vanish.
"You drive me insane," he breathed against my mouth, his lips trailing to my throat. "I can't lose you, Ella. Not you."
My head fell back, a soft sound escaping me as his fingers memorized my waist. My anger melted beneath his desperation.
"James..." I whispered, more plea than protest.
His hand caught mine, fingers threading together tightly. "I'll bring him back. I swear it. Just... don't turn away from me. Please."
The word please—low, ragged, almost broken—undid me more than anything else could have.

After the Affair: Falling into a Billionaire's Arms
I’d appreciate all your support, thank you so much!
From first crush to wedding vows, George Capulet and I had been inseparable. But in our seventh year of marriage, he began an affair with his secretary.
On my birthday, he took her on vacation. On our anniversary, he brought her to our home and made love to her in our bed...
Heartbroken, I tricked him into signing divorce papers.
George remained unconcerned, convinced I would never leave him.
His deceptions continued until the day the divorce was finalized. I threw the papers in his face: "George Capulet, from this moment on, get out of my life!"
Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."
