Married to My Sister's Lover
Anna · Ongoing · 65.0k Words
Introduction
In our marriage bed, he whispered her name, not mine. When his true love—my sister—fell gravely ill, he didn't hesitate. He forced me onto the operating table and took my kidney to save her life.
Lying broken in a hospital bed, I learned the final, soul-crushing truth: he was also responsible for my grandfather's death, the only family I had left. My heart turned to ash.
He tossed divorce papers at me, thinking it was over. But fate had one last cruel twist in store.
I'm pregnant.
Chapter 1
"Amelia."
While they were having sex, her husband called out another woman's name in bed.
And that woman was her twin sister.
In an instant, Evelyn Thomas's face went completely pale. The desire faded away, leaving only coldness.
A drop of sweat fell from William Brown's straight nose, landing heavily on her chest.
His hot breath scattered by her ear, those deep eyes full of desire, as if looking at someone else through her.
"Amelia, one more time."
His tone was tender and lingering, his voice low and sexy, impossibly seductive.
Evelyn thought she was truly hopeless. Even though he was having sex with her while imagining another woman, she still fell for it, addicted to this tenderness that didn't belong to her.
She spoke with difficulty, her voice very hoarse: "I can't, I still need to go to Grandpa's."
William frowned, somewhat displeased: "Amelia never refuses me."
He was reminding her—be good and play Amelia's role well.
Evelyn couldn't help saying: "I'm not Amelia."
But William didn't care. His large palm was already moving up, one leg forcing her legs apart.
He said coldly and dismissively, "Amelia is kind and smart. Of course you're not her."
Evelyn froze. Her entire heart felt like it was being squeezed in pain. But the next second, an even greater pain came as William lifted her legs and thrust into her without any gentleness.
"You're just a substitute. Just do your job as a bed replacement."
He was reminding her not to greedily wish for more.
He pinned both her hands above her head, pounding into her roughly. Compared to the previous tender lovemaking, this time was pure punishment.
He was punishing her for not being obedient, for actually trying to escape his control.
"Amelia..."
His voice kept repeating in her ear. She felt herself being torn apart, not just physically but spiritually too. She was split in half.
One half called Evelyn, the other half called Amelia.
After sex, William held her and said, "Good girl. I'll have my assistant send over the latest bags later."
She didn't like that brand of bags. Amelia did.
Bitterness welled up in Evelyn's heart. After all these years of marriage, William never cared about her preferences.
Perhaps she stared at him too long. William frowned in displeasure.
Evelyn thought, "Oh no," and quickly lowered her eyes.
Her eyes were the only feature different from Amelia's.
Also, what William hated most.
"Don't look at me like that." His voice was ice cold.
"From now on, speak gently as Amelia does, and dress in her style too."
Evelyn bit her lip hard, her voice strained: "Okay... then do you have time later? Grandpa wants to see you."
Her heart ached like needles pricking it, yet she was powerless to argue back.
She was the one who agreed to become Amelia's substitute, hoping to win William over after marriage. Her current situation was no one's fault but her own.
But Grandpa Hayden Thomas didn't know. In his eyes, she and William were a perfect match. She didn't want to disappoint Hayden.
"Not seeing him. I told you not to fantasize about things you can't have." William got dressed and looked at her coldly. "I've seen too many women with ulterior motives. Evelyn, don't think you're the real Mrs. Brown. You're just keeping this position for Amelia."
Just like that, William left without any consideration.
Evelyn smiled bitterly, trembling as she got out of bed, got dressed, and went to Hayden's house alone.
But when she got there, she wasn't greeted by a kind Hayden, but by news from the neighbors—Hayden was critically ill and had been sent to the hospital.
She rushed to the hospital and learned from the doctor that Hayden had a cerebral thrombosis. It couldn't be cured; they could only make the patient's passing peaceful.
Seeing Hayden pale and weak in the hospital bed, Evelyn grabbed those thin, bony hands, tears streaming down immediately.
"How did this happen? Grandpa, weren't you always healthy? You said you were waiting to hold a great-grandchild. How could this suddenly..."
Hayden struggled to open his eyes. Seeing it was her, he showed a loving smile: "Evelyn, you came."
"I couldn't hide it from you after all..."
Looking at Evelyn, Hayden wanted to pat her head like when she was little, but his hand only lifted slightly before falling weakly.
Evelyn quickly grabbed Hayden's hand and placed it against her face, just like when she was little. Whenever she was bullied, Hayden would comfort her this way.
"Evelyn, take care of yourself from now on. Live happily with William. Don't fight with him anymore."
"Promise me you won't resent Amelia either. It was my wrong choice back then that made her do such things. If she comes back..."
Evelyn kept nodding, agreeing to everything: "Okay. He's busy today, but he wanted to come see you... I promise I won't resent Amelia."
She wiped the tears from Hayden's eyes, her heart breaking.
To put Hayden's mind at ease, she never told him the real reason William married her.
Hayden hoped William would visit him with her, but even this request was ruthlessly rejected by William.
"Evelyn, there's a necklace in my bag. You must keep it safe..."
"Evelyn! They found Amelia!"
Just as Evelyn was taking the necklace from the bag, William suddenly pushed open the hospital room door.
He was wearing a neat suit, completely out of place in the hospital.
Evelyn froze. They found Amelia?
"Evelyn." William rarely called her name in such a gentle tone.
Evelyn suppressed the sourness in her heart and forced a smile: "That's good news, honey. Grandpa has really missed Amelia."
She hoped William would, as usual, play the loving couple with her in front of Hayden.
But William dropped a bombshell directly: "Amelia is sick and needs a kidney match."
"You're her twin, so you're the most suitable donor."
"What?" Evelyn's pupils contracted.
Did he know that donating a kidney was basically like becoming disabled?
Without giving her a choice, William grabbed Evelyn's arm to take her away.
"William, what are you going to do to Evelyn?" Hayden couldn't believe that the usually considerate William would do something so heartless.
Evelyn violently refused: "No! Grandpa still needs someone to take care of him. I can't donate. Find someone else!"
"Amelia can't wait. Are you going to watch your sister die?" William forcibly dragged Evelyn outside. "The surgery is already arranged. You're going whether you like it or not!"
"Evelyn!" Hayden tried to stop them but fell from the bed. He struggled to get up.
"Evelyn, Grandpa never told you, but you're actually..."
Before Hayden could finish, he became too emotional, breathing rapidly, and passed out.
"No, Grandpa! Doctor, quickly get a doctor!" Evelyn screamed, desperate to go to him, but she was held tight.
Just a few meters felt like an unbridgeable gap. Watching Hayden lying unconscious on the ground, Evelyn begged desperately, "William, please let the doctor save my grandpa. I'm begging you!"
William remained unmoved, only frowning slightly.
Evelyn closed her eyes in despair: "I agree to donate the kidney! The condition is that you save my grandpa!"
"Fine. As long as you're obedient, I'll have someone save your grandpa."
Evelyn forced a smile, looking worse than crying.
Lying on the cold operating table, looking at the row of sharp surgical knives beside her, Evelyn couldn't stop panicking.
What if she died on the operating table? Who would take care of Hayden?
"William, can I..."
She regretted it. At least let her see with her own eyes that Hayden was okay.
But William didn't give her a chance at all, ordering the doctor to start the surgery.
The anesthetic entered her bloodstream. Evelyn's consciousness gradually blurred. Tears slid down her face. She wasn't willing to accept this. Her five years of devotion were ultimately wasted.
She struggled to leave her last words: "William, if I die, you must take good care of my grandpa. Tell him I went abroad... don't let him worry about me..."

The Human Among Wolves
My stomach twisted, but he wasn’t finished.
"You're just a pathetic little human," Zayn said, his words deliberate, each one hitting like a slap. "Spreading your legs for the first guy who bothers to notice you."
Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
I was so, so stupid.

The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

The Biker's Fate
I squeezed my eyes shut.
"Dani," he pressed. "Do you get me?"
"No, Austin, I don't," I admitted as I pulled my robe closed again and sat up. "You confuse me."
He dragged his hands down his face. "Tell me what's on your mind."
I sighed. "You're everything my parents warned me against. You're secretive, but you're also honest. I feel wholly protected by you, but then you scare me more than anyone I've ever known. You're a bad boy, but when I dated a so-called good one, he turned out to be the devil, so, yeah, I don't get you because you're not what I expected. You drive me crazier than anyone I've ever met, but then you make me feel complete. I'm feeling things I don't quite know how to process and that makes me want to run. I don't want to give up something that might be really, really good, but I also don't want to be stupid and fall for a boy just because he's super pretty and makes me come."

I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
