Introduction
To him, I'm probably just a prostitute he doesn't have to pay.
My husband is deeply in love with another woman. He lavishes all his affection on her, while I, his lawful wife, am met with nothing but indifference and cruelty...
My life is a prison, holding me captive.
This ridiculous marriage was doomed from the start.
Today, I summoned the courage to shatter my chains:
'Let's divorce!'
Chapter 1
At 3 AM, Eleanor York was sound asleep when she was suddenly awakened by the sound of the door opening.
Only a small warm yellow night light was on in the bedroom.
Eleanor squinted and looked at the man standing by the window, unbuttoning his shirt.
The dim light outlined Arthur Boleyn's sharp, refined features, softening the gloom in his eyes.
This was their first meeting after a month-long cold war.
Eleanor's voice was hoarse from just waking up: "You're back?"
Arthur gave a faint response, and his tall body was already pressing down on her. He lowered his head to kiss Eleanor's lips while his other hand skillfully moved to remove her silk nightgown.
After a moment of shock, Eleanor immediately struggled.
"Arthur, we've been fighting for so long, and you come back just to have sex?"
There was a hint of uncontrollable anger in her voice.
She was a living, breathing person.
Not a tool for venting desires.
A flash of displeasure crossed Arthur's eyes as he gripped Eleanor's chin from above.
"You're my wife. Helping me with my physical needs is legal and proper."
"The fight from before isn't over yet..."
Before Eleanor could finish speaking, Arthur had already taken off his pants.
The sharp pain without any foreplay instantly pierced through Eleanor, making her tremble.
"Arthur, I'm not a tool. Did you only come back because you wanted sex?"
Arthur's eyes showed impatience as he directly used his lips to silence Eleanor's nagging.
Five years of marriage had made them intimately familiar with each other's bodies and sensitive spots.
Eleanor instantly surrendered under Arthur's touch.
As the intimate atmosphere continued to build, a sudden ringtone sounded particularly jarring.
From Eleanor's angle, she couldn't see the caller's name.
However, she clearly caught the emotion that flashed through Arthur's eyes.
Arthur immediately stopped his movements, answering the phone with his left hand while covering Eleanor's mouth with his right.
As the suffocating feeling hit her, Eleanor heard a sweet, coquettish voice from the other end.
"Arthur, I've already arrived at the airport. When are you coming to pick me up?"
Eleanor's pupils instantly contracted.
At 3 AM, a woman was calling Arthur in such a flirtatious tone.
Arthur covering her mouth clearly meant he was afraid she'd make a sound.
"Okay, I'll be right there!"
"Drive carefully, I'll be waiting for you."
After those words, Arthur pulled out without hesitation and left.
The fire that had been stirred up in Eleanor's body felt like cold water had been splashed on her face.
She couldn't help but clench her fists tightly.
Arthur was actually a person with strong desires.
Every night he would exhaust her at least twice.
This was the first time Arthur had stopped in the middle of it.
Especially because of a phone call from a woman.
A sharp pain instantly flashed through Eleanor's heart.
She watched Arthur rush to the dressing room and asked, "Where are you going?"
Arthur frowned at her, impatience flashing in his eyes: "I don't like people questioning these things."
His cold tone formed a stark contrast with the gentle indulgence he'd shown on the phone.
Eleanor's nails had unconsciously dug into her palms as she tried to keep her voice calm: "I'm just concerned about you."
Arthur didn't respond to that.
The door slammed shut, followed by the sound of a car engine from the yard.
Eleanor sat on the bed, her face pale.
The sweet female voice from that phone call kept echoing in her mind.
Very few people knew Arthur's private number.
The caller's laughing tone clearly showed they were close.
The fact that he would go out in the middle of the night showed how important this woman was.
Eleanor suddenly remembered last month when she was rear-ended by a car. If it weren't for the airbag and seatbelt, she would have died in that accident.
She had barely crawled out of the mangled car, and the first thing she did was call Arthur.
Having just hovered on the edge of death, her hand holding the phone was trembling.
But instead of comfort, she got Arthur's annoyed tone.
"Call the insurance, call the police."
From start to finish, not even a word of concern, not even asking if she was hurt.
Eleanor covered the sourness in her eyes and wrapped herself up in the blanket.
Scenes from all these years with Arthur flashed through her mind like a movie.
She closed her eyes tightly.
The next day, when Eleanor woke up, she instinctively felt the temperature of the other side of the bed.
Cold.
Arthur hadn't come back all night.
And just then, she suddenly received an entertainment news video on her phone.
It was from Lucas Collins.
[Does this count as your husband cheating?]
Eleanor tapped to open it, and after seeing the content, her already pale face became even more bloodless.
The background was at the airport, the male lead was naturally Arthur, and beside him was a petite woman who seemed to be sweetly saying something to him.
Arthur was pushing her suitcase with one hand while firmly holding the woman's hand with the other.
Just from this video, the two of them together seemed to radiate an intimate atmosphere.
The media had even created a sensational headline.
#Mr. Boleyn picks up a mysterious woman at the airport late at night, suspected romance was exposed.
At that moment, Eleanor's heart felt like it was being tightly squeezed by an invisible hand.
Was this woman the person Arthur had gone to pick up without hesitation yesterday?
Although they were married, it was a secret marriage.
Arthur had always maintained a single status publicly.
But whether he was married or not, didn't he know that himself?
Eleanor: [Maybe they're just friends.]
Lucas: [Eleanor, he's done this much, and you're still making excuses for him. Why don't you divorce him and be with me instead?]
Eleanor's eyes were bitter, and they kept stinging.
Could she stop Arthur even if she wanted to?
Eleanor: [Has this video gone viral?]
Lucas: [Yes, now lots of people online are saying she's Mrs. Boleyn. A man like this isn't worth your love.]
Eleanor: [Got it.]
She put down her phone and let out a long breath.
Whatever Arthur wanted to do, she had never been able to stop him.
What's more, Arthur clearly cared a lot about this woman.
After getting up and freshening up, Eleanor went to work at the company as usual.
She had been working on a project until 1 AM yesterday.
And because of Arthur, she had insomnia until dawn before finally falling asleep.
Now her head was foggy and messy, and many colleagues around her were gossiping about the airport pickup video during their break time.
Eleanor was holding her thermos, planning to get some warm water, but just as she took a step, everything suddenly went dark and spinning, and darkness instantly swallowed her.
When she woke up, she was already in the hospital.
Eleanor smelled the heavy medicinal scent in the air, and the last memory before losing consciousness appeared in her mind. She turned her head with difficulty and saw Arthur beside her.
A flash of happiness appeared in her eyes.
"Arthur..."
Just as the words left her mouth.
Arthur was already looking at her expressionlessly.
"Let's get a divorce."

The Human Among Wolves
My stomach twisted, but he wasn’t finished.
"You're just a pathetic little human," Zayn said, his words deliberate, each one hitting like a slap. "Spreading your legs for the first guy who bothers to notice you."
Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
I was so, so stupid.

His hands were working on his belt. It came free of his pants with a violent yank. She collapsed back on her elbows, her mouth gaping open at the display. His face was a mask of sheer determination, his eyes were a dark gold swimming with heat and desire. His hands wrapped around her thighs and pulled her to the edge of the table. He glided his fingers up her thighs and hooked several around the inside of her panties. His knuckles brushed her dripping sex.
“You’re soaking wet, Genevieve. Tell me, was it me that made you this way or him?” his voice told her to be careful with her answer. His knuckles slid down through her folds and she threw her head back as she moaned. “Weakness?”

That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
