Introduction
"What do you think, Monica? Do you think that after you betrayed me, I will still love you?" he asked as her forehead frowned.
"I didn't say you still love me. You are the one who said that!" I teased him.
I was hurt by what I heard from him. I know that I never betrayed him. I didn't think it was that easy for him to judge me. This is what pushed me to hate him even more.
I looked at him hard and got pissed because that was my only way to defend myself from his accusation.
"It's obvious that you haven't moved on yet, so until now It's a big deal to you to be with me. Come on! It's been a long time, sweetheart," I smiled at him seductively.
"Don't assume, Monica. I never regret leaving you!" he raised his voice.
Monica Silvestre, an abused Omega by her stepbrother, was judged and abandoned by her Alpha mate, Conrad.
She finds solace in the Governor after the nightmare that happened to her in the past.
With the Governor’s help, she embarks on a revenge mission to make her former mate suffer and pay for breaking her heart. The Governor also asked her to give justice to his wife's death.
Monica makes a plan to seduce him and gain his trust, but will her love prevail? Will she be able to make him suffer and put him to death?
One shocking revelation will turn her world upside down and make her question her decisions.
Chapter 1
I had been looking forward to seeing my mate, Conrad, for the past week. It’s been a week since the last time he visited me and I couldn't wait to get to their pack's territory.
“I miss you so bad, sweetheart,” I told myself.
“I’m sorry but I can’t wait to see you,” I said as I took a deep breath.
But as I arrived, I heard a loud and angry voice coming from the mansion. It was Alpha Damon, Conrad's father, and he was telling Conrad to marry Alpha David’s daughter, Fiona.
“You should marry Fiona as soon as possible. If you don't want me to reject you as my son. Do you understand?!” Alpha Damon said, angrily.
“Dad, I don’t love her,” he responded.
“Who do you like? That lowly Omega?” Alpha Damon asked him, emphatically.
“Think of yourself as the next Alpha of our pack. You can't love a low-level omega like that woman, son!” he added.
I felt my heart drop as tears filled my eyes. I quickly ran back the way I had come, not wanting to see the scene that was unfolding in front of me. I had to get away before I was noticed. I knew that I could never compete with a daughter of the Alpha and that Conrad would have no choice but to do as his father said.
I was heartbroken and hurt but I knew that there was no other way. I had no choice but to accept the fact that Conrad and I would never be together.
With the tears already flowing, I raced back home. I burst through the door, and the first person I saw was my step-brother, Marcus. Before I could think twice, I ran into his arms and hugged him tightly.
“Brother,” I uttered as my tears started to fall.
“Hey! What happened? “he asked, gently.
“Just hug me now please,” I begged him.
I know that I was in desperate need of comfort and he hugged me back tightly, letting me cry into his shoulder until I felt better. As we embraced, Marcus whispered words of encouragement, assuring me that I’ll be okay.
“Stop crying, Monica. Everything will be alright,” he comforted me.
When I finally stepped back, I felt relieved had needed someone to talk to and Marcus had been there for me, offering me a shoulder to cry on.
“You can tell me everything, Monica. I will always be here for you,” he said, gently.
I appreciated how Marcus cared and love me as his sister. I feel like I’m the luckiest sister in the world. We are not siblings in blood but he makes me feel the love I deserve.
“Thank you so much, Brother,” I thanked him, smiling.
“I know we are not real siblings but I want you to know that I’m so lucky to have you as my Stepbrother,” I said, gently while looking into his eyes.
"So can you tell me everything now? I will listen, “he said calmly.
A few moments later, I told him the pain I felt when I heard what Alpha Damon wanted for Conrad. He said I was heartbroken, knowing that I would no longer be able to be with the man I had loved all these years.
"I feel your pain. You are really hurt. But if he loves you, he will choose you over his father's desire, “he said firmly.
He comforted me and hugged me again. He promised me that no matter what happened, he would always be there for me and that he would do anything to make me happy.
"Please don't be sad, Monica. You should move on now. He is stupid to lose a beautiful woman like you "Marcus pinch my cheeks.
I was glad that I had someone who understood my pain and was willing to help me through it. I was grateful for Marcus' support, and I was determined to get through this difficult time with my head held high.
"I want to be alone first," I said sadly.
Marcus just nodded and patted my shoulder before I went up the stairs to my room.
When I entered the room, my tears started to flow. I held my chest because of the pain I was feeling. I can't imagine the man I love marrying another woman.
But I know I'm just a lowly Omega and a low-level wolf. I was restless and depressed at those hours. Until I heard a noise outside. I just heard Conrad calling my name from outside the house.
"Monica!" he shouted.
"Monica, get out of there. Let's talk," he shouted again.
I heard Marcus talk to him. I heard the two raise their voices so I couldn't stand it anymore and I left my room.
When I went down the stairs, I saw him in front of the door. Our eyes met and my chest tightened. I took a deep breath to calm myself down.
I don't know how to confront him about his marriage to Fiona.
"Leave now," I said sparingly.
"Sweetheart, please talk to me," he begged.
"Go home now. We have nothing more to talk about," I pushed him away.
"I will not leave here until you talk to me," he insisted.
"She doesn’t want to talk to you. Don't you understand?!" Marcus asked in a loud voice.
"I'm not talking to you so shut up!" he frowned when he answered.
Before the two got heated, I agreed to talk to him. Maybe I need this too so that we can have closure on our separation. My chest was so tight that even my nerves were shaking at that time.
"Okay, let's talk," I said firmly.
A smile drew on his lips and I became fragile again when I saw it.
His eyes were serious when he looked at me and I immediately looked away from him.
"What else are we going to talk about?" I asked.
"Listen to me, sweetheart," he answered gently.
"Everything is clear to me. I heard what your father said, Conrad," I told him firmly.
"Did you also hear my answer to him?" he asked.
"It doesn't matter what your answer is. I knew from the beginning that being Alpha is important to you," I answered.
"Do you think my wishes are more important to me than my happiness?" he asked.
"What do you mean?" I asked him.
"Monica, you are my happiness. Yes, I want to be Alpha, but what if I'm not happy?" he said with a smile.
I smiled at what he said and he touched both of my cheeks. We just stared at each other at that time.
"I love you more than anything else, Sweetheart. I will choose you, so I hope you will trust my love for you," he said sincerely to me.
"Will you disobey your father's wishes for me?" I asked.
"It's my life, it's my heart so he can't dictate the life I choose. I can't afford to lose you," he said emotionally.
"I love you so much, Sweetheart. I also can't bear to see you marry another woman. You should only marry me please," I emotionally responded to him.
"Of course. I love you and I will never leave you. That's a promise!" he promised.
My heart was reassured by what he said. Suddenly he kissed me and I kissed him too. We smiled at each other and I was very happy at that time. Suddenly his phone rang and he immediately answered it.
When he hung up, he said goodbye to me because his father called him. He said he will talk to his father properly about the two of us. He said he would fight for me and promised to come back to marry me.
"I'll be back, okay?" he said smiling.
"I will wait, sweetheart," I smiled and kissed his lips.
After a while, I returned home. But when I went inside, I saw that Marcus's face was very serious.
"Why do you look like that, Marcus?" I teased him.
But he didn't even smile or laugh at what I said. I felt a strange nervousness in the way he looked at me. But I don't want to think wrong because he is my stepbrother and it is unclear if he will do something terrible to me.
"You two are so sweet to him, Monica," he said.
"We are okay now. He explained everything to me and he will not leave me," I replied with a smile.
He immediately came to me and held my hand and kissed me. I was very surprised by what he did.
"I won't leave you either," he said with a smile.
"Marcus, what are you doing?" I asked him nervously.
He only responded with a smile and I was very surprised by what he did and screamed.

I hate girls like her.
Entitled.
Delicate.

Still.
The image of her standing in the doorway, clutching her cardigan tighter around her narrow shoulders, trying to smile through the awkwardness, won’t leave me.
Neither does the memory of Tyler. Leaving her here without a second thought.
I shouldn’t care.
I don’t care.

A pack of their own
The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."
New to the world of shifters, Draven is human on the run. A beautiful girl who no one could protect. Domonic is the cold Alpha of the Red Wolf Pack. A brotherhood of twelve wolves that live by twelve rules. Rules which they vowed could NEVER be broken.

The Human Among Wolves
My stomach twisted, but he wasn’t finished.
"You're just a pathetic little human," Zayn said, his words deliberate, each one hitting like a slap. "Spreading your legs for the first guy who bothers to notice you."
Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
I was so, so stupid.

Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
Invisible To Her Bully

His eyes darken, flicking to my mouth.
"It's wrong. Your brother would slit my throat for just standing this close. But tell me, little bird" his breath ghosts my skin, "are you trembling because you hate me… or because you've wanted this just as much as I have?"
Wren thought she'd buried the chaos of New Orleans for good—the clubs, the blood-soaked loyalties, the men who lived and died by their kuttes. Seattle gave her everything she ever wanted: freedom, love, a future.
But one betrayal shatters it all.
Dragged home by tragedy, Wren finds herself under the watchful eye of Ezra Jax—the Raven Reapers MC's vice president and her brother's best friend. He's infuriating, dangerous, and far too tempting for a man she should never touch.
And the deeper Wren is pulled back into his world, the more she realizes nothing about her past—or about Ezra—is what she believed.
In the chaos of gang wars, mounting debts, and old betrayals, he becomes the one constant. The more she fights him, the harder she falls. And the more he pushes her away, the more lethal his pull becomes.
Because in this world, love isn't sweet.
It's brutal. Bloody.
And it's bound to break them both.
When loyalty is everything and love can cost your life, will Wren risk her heart on the one man she was never meant to love?
