Chapter 1
Ophelia's pov
I stood by the window of our bedroom upstairs clutching the pregnancy test result in my hand. I was pregnant.
I had been noticing the signs for sometime and decided to go to the hospital for confirmation. The result came back positive.
I rubbed my hands over my stomach and smiled. I couldn't wait to tell Killian that I was carrying his child.
Killian and I had been married for 3 years and those 3 years had been blissful. He had saved me from my abusive father and tyrannical brother and swore to protect me. He's been doing that ever since and I'm glad we got married.
I turned away from the window and ordered the maids to decorate my room. Once they were done, I smiled in satisfaction. Killian would be thrilled to hear it.
I paddled to the kitchen and riffled through the cupboards. A gentle voice stopped me.
“Luna, what are you doing?” Larissa asked. She was the maid assigned to Killian.
Larissa was beautiful. She was tall and slender and had the most luscious hair I've ever seen. Sometimes, I wonder if she really is a maid.
“Luna, you don't have to cook. That's what the maids are for.” She said with a forced smile. I didn't read much into it. I couldn't be bothered.
“I want to cook for my husband, Larrisa.” I said with a hint of possessiveness in my voice.
Upon arriving in the pack, I noticed troubling signs. Killian's maid, Larissa, had equally acted possessive towards him and the realization made me struggle with my insecurities. As someone who grew up with no love, I was desperate to keep my mate, the man I chose to marry even when he told me he had little time left.
Larissa bowed. “As you wish, your highness.” Then she lifted her head. “Is there anything I can help you with?”
“We will. Go see to her bath, Larissa,” Evelyn, my personal maid, cut in with a smile. Evelyn never liked Larissa and she didn't hide that fact.
Larissa looked at me as if waiting for approval but I knew deep down, it was all a formality. She didn't regard me as much as most people here did.
I gave her a curt nod and she bowed before leaving.
Evelyn smiled and joined me on the kitchen island. “You should cook for your mate, Luna. Besides, we all know Alpha Killian loves your cooking.”
I blushed. She was right. Killian always loved my cooking.
I diced the carrots softly. “I know but you should've let Larissa help.” I said with an amused smile.
“Oh please,” Evelyn rolled her eyes as she reached for a potato and a peeler. “She looked like she was forced to do it. I noticed. Besides, Alpha Killian would want to eat the meal of the woman who saved his life.”
She was also right.
Father and my brother were against my relationship with Killian. They'd told me I would regret it because Killian had been sick. Any reasonable woman would reject him but I couldn't. I loved Killian and I agreed to be his mate. So when the Pack's Shaman Kira told me I was the only one who could save his life, I agreed without thinking. I let my wolf die to save him and honestly, I'd do it again.
Evelyn caught me blushing again and gave me a nudge. We laughed and resumed cooking.
Once the meal was ready, I rushed into the bathroom for a quick shower. Killian would be home soon and I was super excited to tell him the news. After my bath, I changed into the dress he loved and waited in the bedroom.
But as I opened my eyes again, I checked the time, it was 1 am in the morning.
Killian had never been this late before and even if he was, he'd inform me ahead of time.
With managing the company and leading the pack, Killian usually returned home late but he was never late to have dinner with me.
The grandfather clock chimed and my heart leapt to my throat. Oh no. Has something bad happened to him?
I called his office. He hadn't been there all day.
Where would he have gone?
I was about to call his mother when I heard a familiar car pull up in the pack house. My heart skipped a beat when his scent filled the air.
Killian.
I didn't wait for him to enter the living room before I pulled him into my arms.
“You're here,” I whispered against his chest.
Excitement ripped through me and I beamed brightly at him. My mate was here.
“What are you still doing awake?” He asked coldly, pulling away from the hug.
“I was worried about you.” I admitted. “You look tired. Let me help you with that.” I reached for his jacket and helped him shrug it off.
He grimaced as he looked around the room, probably wondering what the decorations were for.
“What is this?” He asked.
I blushed. “Oh, it's nothing really… just something I wanted to talk to you about. I'll prepare your bath so we can talk, okay?”
“That won't be necessary.” His voice was stern. “Larissa will help me with it.”
My body went rigid. “Larissa?”
“Yes. Send it to her at once.” He gave me the order like I was a maid.
Why would he do that? What would he send for a maid when he had a mate?
“Killian…” the name came out unfamiliar, like it was the first time I was saying it.
“Go! Now!” He snapped.
I flinched, my eyes bewildered in shock. What was going on?
Concern laced my voice as I asked him. “Why are you chasing me away?”
He looked me dead in the eye and replied. “Because I don't need you.”
His words hit me like a storm.

Wren thought she'd buried the chaos of New Orleans for good—the clubs, the blood-soaked loyalties, the men who lived and died by their kuttes. Seattle gave her everything she ever wanted: freedom, love, a future.

Triplet Alpha: My Fated Mates
"No." "I'm fine."
"Fuck," he breathes. "You're—"
"Don't." My voice cracks. "Please don't say it."
"Aroused." He says it anyway. "You're aroused."
"I'm not—"
"Your scent." His nostrils flare. "Kara, you smell like—"
"Stop." I cover my face with my hands. "Just—stop."
Then his hand on my wrist, pulling my hands away.
"There's nothing wrong with wanting us," he says softly. "It's natural. You're our mate. We're yours."
"I know." My voice is barely a whisper.
I spent ten years as a ghost in the Sterling mansion—a debt slave to the triplet Alphas who made my life hell. They called me "Carrot," shoved me into frozen rivers, and left me to die in the snow when I was eleven.
On my eighteenth birthday, everything changed. My first shift released a scent of white musk and first snow—and three former tormentors stood outside my door, claiming I was their fated mate. All three of them.
Overnight, the debt vanished. Asher's commands turned to vows, Blake's fists became trembling apologies, and Cole swore they'd been waiting for me all along. They declared me their Luna and promised to spend their lives atoning.
My wolf howls to accept them. But one question haunts me:
Would that eleven-year-old girl, freezing and certain she would die, forgive the choice I'm about to make?
