Introduction
"I, Ambrose Rita, accept Yulia Henzi as my mate!"
I wanted to laugh at the sight, but the silence shut me up. I was about to turn around but suddenly, a possessive arm wrapped around my waist and pulled me closer to his warm body.
I could smell a mixture of cologne and musk that was both tantalizing and intimidating. My heart pounded as I tried to figure out who was talking and who was holding me.
But before I could figure it out, a chilling voice broke the silence and sent shivers down my spine.
"I can smell you, girl."
The voice sounded like someone who'd been smoking for years, the tone low, husky, and threatening. It was warm and moist. Before I could react, he added, "At last, I have found you, my mate."
Chapter 1
Maddie’s Point of View
“Hey, young lady! When do you plan to settle your rent? When I’m ready to set foot in my grave?!” I was rudely awakened by a loud scream. "If I count to three and you don't come out, I'll have these men break down the door! One!"
Oh no, it's the landlord again!
I hopped out of bed and hit the ground running. Without batting an eye, with a bedhead that could rival Medusa’s snakes, and a case of morning breath that could knock out a horse, I bolted out of bed without skipping a beat. I opened the door to see the landlord looking angry and surprised.
I sheepishly greeted her, "Good morning, Mrs. Taylor! It's been a while—"
"It's been a while since you paid your rent! What's so good about the morning when I have to wake up early just to remind you to pay?!" she hissed, extending her hand for payment.
I gave her an apologetic expression, but I didn’t really listen to her. She seemed upset, but I didn’t care. After all, it was still early in the morning and all I wanted to do was sleep. However, I knew that my current living situation was bad, and sooner would lose the roof over my head.
“Um...” I started scratching my head. “Well, Mrs. Taylor, you know, I’ve just started at my work and I haven’t earned a dime yet, nor can I go begging for an upfront payment… Can I have a little more time to chew on this? I swear to pay as soon—”
“There is no way I will give you another month! You've been causing problems for my business for five months straight! I've been going out of my way to help you during those months, but I've reached my breaking point! If you don't have any money, then fucking leave!” She quickly left, accompanied by the two men.
I let out a sigh.
Where should I go now?
I'm Maddie Ziegler, a 19-year-old who's down on my luck and struggling to make ends meet. A girl who has more problems than she can handle. Ever since my aunt turned her back on me a year ago, I've been left without any support to pay for my rent. I applied for jobs five months ago, but none of them hired me because I didn't have a high school diploma.
Luckily, I struck gold yesterday and landed a job, but it seemed like Lady Luck had a bone to pick with me and was dead set on disrupting my peace. Now, I have to say goodbye to my comfortable apartment without knowing where I'll go next!
I had no choice but to leave my apartment, so I gathered my things. Thankfully, there wasn't anything important except my wardrobe. I started my journey promptly at 8 pm.
As I dragged my luggage through the dark street, I couldn't help but complain, "Why is everything going wrong for me?" Just when I thought bad luck had already left me, my stomach growled loudly. "What now, luck?"
I searched my pocket, hoping to find some money, but all I found was dirt and candy wrappers. I hadn't eaten all morning because I was busy asking my friends for help, but no one was willing to lend a hand.
Just as I was about to continue my journey, I stopped when I heard women laughing nearby. They were excitedly talking about something, and I soon found out what it was.
"Did you hear? The food is free! We can eat as much as we want!"
"Lucky us! It's been a while since I had free food!"
I couldn't ignore what I heard, so I quickly approached the women. "Excuse me," I said awkwardly. "I couldn't help but overhear you talking about that... um... place. Can you please tell me where it is?"
The two women give me sympathetic looks, as though they understand what I had been through today.
After giving me a quick glance, they gestured towards the livelier side of the street, not too far from where we were now, where there was a bustling crowd and a multitude of lights.
“Thank you, girls! I owe this to you!”
After expressing my gratitude, they hurriedly went there, and I didn't hesitate to follow. When we arrived, my eyes sparkled, and my stomach growled even louder. Without wasting any time, I started selecting food, and to my delight, they were just perfect! It won't cost you anything!
I carefully choose my favorite dishes and even secretly save a few for later. This way, I would also have a delicious treat to enjoy in the coming days. Although it's a difficult situation to accept, I had no other choice but to face reality and be humble. However, as I prepared to leave, I couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong in the area.
I noticed people weren't eating and were instead leaving from a dimly lit place. Intrigued, I leisurely walked towards where they were heading.
I was filled with curiosity when I saw a couple standing in front of an old lady, all three of them covered in white gauze. The crowd around them was completely silent, creating an eerie atmosphere.
The man declared, "I, Ambrose Rita, accept Yulia Henzi as my mate!"
I wanted to laugh by the sight but the silence made me shut my mouth. I was about to turn and investigate more. Nonetheless, suddenly, a possessive arm wrapped around my waist, pulling me closer to his warm body. I could smell a mixture of cologne and a musky scent that was both alluring and intimidating. My heart raced as I tried to figure out who was speaking and holding me.
But before I could do so, a chilling voice broke the silence, sending shivers down my spine.
"I can smell you, woman."
It sounded like someone who had been smoking for years, with a deep, raspy, and threatening tone. It was warm and damp. And before I could react, he added, "Finally, I have found you, my mate."

Alpha Twins' Mate's broken Human
A Lesson in Magic
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
The Forbidden Throb
Mine changed in the time it took to open a door.
Behind it: my fiancé Nicholas with another woman.
Three months until our wedding. Three seconds to watch it all burn.
I should have run. Should have screamed. Should have done anything except stand there like a fool.
Instead, I heard the devil himself whisper in my ear:
"If you're willing, I could marry you."
Daniel. The brother I was warned about. The one who made Nicholas look like a choir boy.
He leaned against the wall, watching my world implode.
My pulse thundered. "What?"
"You heard me." His eyes burned into mine. "Marry me, Emma."
But as I stared into those magnetic eyes, I realized something terrifying:
I wanted to say yes to him.
Game on.
The Biker Alpha Who Became My Second Chance Mate
"You're like a sister to me."
Those were the actual words that broke the camel's back.
Not after what just happened. Not after the hot, breathless, soul-shaking night we spent tangled in each other's arms.
I knew from the beginning that Tristan Hayes was a line I shouldn't cross.
He wasn't just anyone, he was my brother's best friend. The man I spent years secretly wanting.
But that night... we were broken. We had just buried our parents. And the grief was too heavy, too real...so I begged him to touch me.
To make me forget. To fill the silence that death left behind.
And he did. He held me like I was something fragile.
Kissed me like I was the only thing he needed to breathe.
Then left me bleeding with six words that burned deeper than rejection ever could.
So, I ran. Away from everything that cost me pain.
Now, five years later, I'm back.
Fresh from rejecting the mate who abused me. Still carrying the scars of a pup I never got to hold.
And the man waiting for me at the airport isn't my brother.
It's Tristan.
And he's not the guy I left behind.
He's a biker.
An Alpha.
And when he looked at me, I knew there was no where else to run to.
The mafia princess return
Badass in Disguise
"Jade, I need to check your—" the nurse began.
"OUT!" I snarled with enough force that both women backed toward the door.
Once feared by Shadow Organization that drugged me to replicate my abilities into a more controllable version, I had escaped my restraints and detonated their entire facility, ready to die alongside my captors.
Instead, I woke up in a school infirmary with women arguing around me, their voices piercing my skull. My outburst froze them in shock—clearly they hadn't expected such a reaction. One woman threatened as she left, "We'll discuss this attitude when you get home."
The bitter truth? I've been reborn into the body of an overweight, weak, and supposedly dim-witted high school girl. Her life is filled with bullies and tormentors who've made her existence miserable.
But they have no idea who they're dealing with now.
I didn't survive as the world's deadliest assassin by allowing anyone to push me around. And I certainly won't start now.
Accidentally Crossing the Tycoon
Four years ago, the Bailey family faced a devastating financial crisis.
Just when bankruptcy seemed inevitable, a mysterious benefactor emerged, offering salvation with one condition: a contract marriage.
Rumors swirled about this enigmatic man—whispers claimed he was hideously ugly and too ashamed to show his face, possibly harboring dark, twisted obsessions.
Without hesitation, the Baileys sacrificed me to protect their precious biological daughter, forcing me to take her place as a pawn in this cold, calculated arrangement.
Luckily, in those four years, the mysterious husband never asked to meet in person.
Now, in the final year of our arrangement, the husband I've never met is demanding we meet face to face.
But disaster struck the night before my return—drunk and disoriented, I stumbled into the wrong hotel room and ended up sleeping with the legendary financial mogul, Caspar Thornton.
What the hell am I supposed to do now?
The Biker's Fate
I squeezed my eyes shut.
"Dani," he pressed. "Do you get me?"
"No, Austin, I don't," I admitted as I pulled my robe closed again and sat up. "You confuse me."
He dragged his hands down his face. "Tell me what's on your mind."
I sighed. "You're everything my parents warned me against. You're secretive, but you're also honest. I feel wholly protected by you, but then you scare me more than anyone I've ever known. You're a bad boy, but when I dated a so-called good one, he turned out to be the devil, so, yeah, I don't get you because you're not what I expected. You drive me crazier than anyone I've ever met, but then you make me feel complete. I'm feeling things I don't quite know how to process and that makes me want to run. I don't want to give up something that might be really, really good, but I also don't want to be stupid and fall for a boy just because he's super pretty and makes me come."
Danielle Harris is the daughter of an overprotective police chief and has led a sheltered life. As a kindergarten teacher, she's as far removed from the world of Harleys and bikers as you could get, but when she's rescued by the sexy and dangerous Austin Carver, her life is changed forever.
Although Austin 'Booker' Carver is enamored by the innocent Dani, he tries to keep the police chief's daughter at arm's length. But when a threat is made from an unexpected source, he finds himself falling hard and fast for the only woman who can tame his wild heart.
Will Booker be able to find the source of the threat before it's too late?
Will Dani finally give her heart to a man who's everything she's been warned about?
