Chapter 1
"I can't believe we are actually here." Theodore spoke with hatred. He was not happy about coming to Earth, especially to try to help unify his kingdom with the earthlings as Theodore liked to put it.
"You know Earth has changed dramatically since we were last here. You're more than capable of handling anything Theo, plus who would dare harm a hair on your head with me as your brother?" Kane couldn't help but roll his eyes at his baby brother.
"Yeah, yeah, you're big and scary, woo hoo." Theodore said with a teasing tone and a smirk playing at his lips. No matter how old they got, Theodore still loved teasing his brother and pushing his buttons.
Kane just huffed and rolled his eyes for the hundredth time on this trip. He understood that Theo was just teasing him but he couldn't help that his beast gets frustrated at Theo sometimes with his childlike play.
Kane was the only demon with an inner beast, Goliath. Most demons were one with their human part, no inner voice, just one mind and two bodies. Kane on the other hand had two minds as well as two bodies. Kane and Goliath are the perfect duo, Hell runs perfectly with them in charge, not that anyone else could run it. Hell was no other than Kanes mother. Hell gave birth to Kane and blessed him with Goliath to be the Eternal King. Kanes mother fell in love with a human and wanted nothing more than to settle down and live her life with him. And so Kane has been ruling the Eternal Kingdom for the past ten thousand years with his brother Theodore right beside him. Theodore wasn't there in the beginning though. Kane didn't know his father had another child until Kane felt a strong pull towards Earth one day. Kane wasn't sure what this pull could be so he went to his parents for help and hoped that they would be able to explain this weird feeling he was having, this feeling only made Kane feel sick and he wanted it to end.
(over ten thousand years ago)
While Kane sat there in a complete daze, he couldn't believe what his parents had just told him. Earth was full of other creatures like him? He's been alive for 30 years now and they never once told him about the other supernaturals of the world. He never knew there was such a being called the Moon Goddess and that she blessed creatures like him with a destined mate and on top of that, she was his mothers sister. What the hell was even going on anymore? He thought to himself. It was all too much for Kane to take in all at once. But being the strong King he is, he listened to every word his parents spoke. Then the words he never thought he would hear, ran through his ears.. That sick feeling and pull you have, is probably your brother, he must be sick or injured. His father spoke with worry, trying not to sound more upset and worried than he already was.
Kane shot up from his seat and demanded to know where he was. Kane couldn't believe they would keep such a huge secret from him! But he knew they only did that because Kane would bring Theodore to hell and turn him into one of them. Kanes father didn't want that for his other son at first. He wanted him to experience life and just live his life until his time was over but now it seemed like that time was here.
Kane went through the portal to Earth and followed the pull to his brother. Kane found Theodore deathly ill, inside what appeared to be some sort of healers tent. Kane wasted no time in picking up his brother and carrying him back to the portal. His parents were on the other side waiting for them to return. Once Kane returned, they started the process of turning Theodore and only hoped he wasn't too far gone and that it would work. For the first time, Kane thanked the Moon Goddess for helping him save his 'baby' brother.
(present day)
As Kane and Theodore approached the border to Full Moons Pack, Kane immediately regretted coming this way. Five werewolves appeared and demanded to know why their kind was here.
Theodore scoffed at their poor attempt to sound tough. Kane on the other hand just gave his signature smirk. A smirk that meant only bad things were to come. Kane couldn't stand werewolves. Over the past ten thousand years, Kane and Theodore have seen how the stronger wolves would bully the weak and subject them to being practically slaves, cleaning, cooking, doing all the work that they didn't want to do. They even divided into packs, separating themselves from their own kind. Hating each other, making enemies of each other. Kane couldn't understand that at all. His kingdom was one. There were no "packs." Sure there were hundreds of different towns or little cities in his kingdom but they were all one kingdom. No enemies, no hating their own kind. He ran a peaceful kingdom and took pride in the love and loyalty they had for their King and kingdom. So coming here and seeing this border patrol, only added fuel to the fire.
Before Kane could even act, King Gabriel was there and immediately started to defuse the problem. Gabriel already knew Kane and Theodore was there, he could feel their presence the second they crossed over into his kingdom. Most importantly he knew how is old friend was, he couldn't let some dumb young wolves get themselves killed just because they said the wrong thing to the Kane himself.
After the tension was gone and Theodore managed to calm down his brother, even though he didn't want to, Gabriel and his guards escorted Kane and Theodore to the kingdoms castle. The castle being huge was an understatement but of course to Kane and Theodore this wasn't a surprise. They were used to their castle back home.
As the men pulled up to the castle, they were greeted by Gabriels mate, Queen Evy. She stood at 5'3 with long light brown hair and dark brown eyes and a perfectly round baby bump. Gabriel couldn't help the huge grin that was plastered to his face as he watched his mate slowly waddled over to them. The day he met Evy was easily the best day of his life. When he first laid eyes on Evy, he said she looked like an angel. Little did he know that Evy was indeed an actual angel. Gabriel never would have thought that the Moon Goddess would bless him, a demon-lycan-witch hybrid with someone so pure and beautiful. Gabriels mother was a white witch, the purest and strongest of witches while his father was a demon-lycan hybrid, the king of all the supernaturals above. Not many know that Gabriels lycan is a hybrid with a demon, it would cause an uproar in his kingdom that he would much rather avoid. Especially since his kids would be the main target of anyones hate for him. While Gabriel stood at 6'7", tall and had the muscles and strength to back him up, he just cannot and will not put his family in any danger. For the friends that do know his secret, they understand and respect his decision completely.
After greeting Evy, Kane wasted no time in getting down to business. He was on a mission and that mission to him was more important than meeting every soul in the castle. Gabriel led them straight to the privacy of his office to discuss the unifying of the two kingdoms and the reason behind it.
"Can we get down to business now?" Kane said the second the door was closed.
"We have gone over all of the paperwork you have sent us and I agree to almost everything that you have stated that should happen after the unifying ritual." Gabriel let out slowly and calmly to ensure Kane doesn't get irritated with what he just said.
But of course Kane got frustrated. "Almost everything? What the hell is that supposed to mean? I have been more than generous, my kingdom can merge with yours, my people can live freely among yours, they won't cause any troubles with your people. Unlike yours, my kingdom supports my decisions fully. They are excited to find out if their mates are witches, a lycan, a vampire or even a damn fairy. For the ones who want to live within pack borders, they will contribute just like any other pack member would. They will NOT be subjected to being less than your so called alphas though. I've seen how the strong bully the weak here and I won't allow my people to be treated as such, I'm sure you could understand that, King Gabriel." Just from that little rant Kanes already short fuse was becoming shorter.
"I understand completely, Kane. I don't like how the strong bully the weak either. I've been trying to change that but it's easier said than done when I can't be at all my packs in one go. Yes I have made an announcement about how upsetting it is that they would rather hurt weaker members instead of trying to help them become stronger. Packs should protect each other, not harm each other. But that's not what I don't agree with Kane. You mentioned that no one is allowed to enter your kingdom except your kind?" Gabriel was also growing annoyed with this meeting. They were unifying the kingdoms and yet Kane was keeping his closed off to others.
"The Eternal Kingdom, Hell known to most, is not a safe place for wolves, fairies, or any other kind to be roaming about in. While for demons it is home and safe haven, for others the sun, the air would kill them within minutes. Hell isn't made for people from Earth to live in or even visit. I'm not trying to hog my kingdom or keep it locked away. I'm simply just trying to keep the members of your kingdom from dying if I were to open Hells gates. It is not physically possible for them to live there.. Unless they are mated to a prince of hell or the king, me." Surprisingly Kane explained this to the men in the room instead of being his stubborn self and just ignoring Gabriel.
"Well since that's settled, lets move onto the ritual that will take place. When would you like for this happen?" Gabriel asked with a smile.
"After I find my mate and make her my queen. Only your men here know why this unifying is happening. I want nothing to stand in my way of claiming my mate." Kane stated. "And I will show no mercy to anyone or anything that stands in my way."

He didn't finish. He didn't need to.
I didn't tell him to stop.
Instead, my fingers curled into his shirt, clutching the fabric as though it was my only anchor. Something in him snapped—something he had been holding back for too long. His mouth found mine in a kiss that wasn't tender, but hungry, desperate.
I gasped into him, his hand sliding up to cup my jaw, holding me as if afraid I might vanish.
"You drive me insane," he breathed against my mouth, his lips trailing to my throat. "I can't lose you, Ella. Not you."
My head fell back, a soft sound escaping me as his fingers memorized my waist. My anger melted beneath his desperation.
"James..." I whispered, more plea than protest.
His hand caught mine, fingers threading together tightly. "I'll bring him back. I swear it. Just... don't turn away from me. Please."
The word please—low, ragged, almost broken—undid me more than anything else could have.

“I am done chasing you.”
Before she could formulate a witty remark, Matteo threw her down. She landed hard on her back atop his dining room table. She tried to sit up when she noticed what he was doing. His hands were working on his belt. It came free of his pants with a violent yank. She collapsed back on her elbows, her mouth gaping open at the display. His face was a mask of sheer determination, his eyes were a dark gold swimming with heat and desire. His hands wrapped around her thighs and pulled her to the edge of the table. He glided his fingers up her thighs and hooked several around the inside of her panties. His knuckles brushed her dripping sex.
“You’re soaking wet, Genevieve. Tell me, was it me that made you this way or him?” his voice told her to be careful with her answer. His knuckles slid down through her folds and she threw her head back as she moaned. “Weakness?”
“You…” she breathed.

"Scared?" He smirked, palm sliding down my waist, fingers tracing slow, burning circles. "Yet you shiver... not from cold."
I lunged for the candlestick, but he caught my wrist, pinning it overhead. His knee forced my legs apart.
