Chapter 4

I looked at him with more rage than I had ever felt in my body and screamed wildly. "I had to fuck all these men and your sister to prove that I was loyal to you and you scream out what ever bitch fucked you tonight! Are you kidding me?!", I roared. I'd never felt so much rage before, but I had also never felt this much emotion in my life. Becoming a vampire has changed me…

He was walking towards me, " baby I'm sorry if you just let me show you.". I didn't let him.  I punched him and he flew across the room. Amazed by my power I stood there shocked as he groaned as he got up off the floor.

"I deserved that.",he said, wiping the blood from his cheek. I watched it quickly heal and it looked as if nothing had happened. He looked helpless down there because of what he had done.

" Look  Melody I understand that you are hurt, but the entire time I was with those other women I could only think of you. If we don't seal the deal tonight they can choose another mate for you. They will think we are not truly compatible. Can you live for the rest of eternity with someone else on your arm and seeing someone else on mine? Can you love someone else as deeply as you love me and can you spend eternity with someone you don't love?", he said with sincerity.

I sat down on the bed. He's got me there because no matter how much I fucking hated his ass at the moment I don't hate him. I love him so much it hurts, and I would never want to be with anyone else. I held my arms out to him and he came over and hugged me. He kissed the top of my head and pulled me tight.

We made love to seal our future together. I was still so hurt by what he had done, but he bit into my skin and I let all of my emotions go. You could see my pain in his eyes and as we finished he let a tear roll down his cheek. I didn't want to taste his blood because everything he had done was too fresh in my mind. I know he will let me in when I am ready to see what happened tonight, but the pain is all still too new.

"We better get to the dining hall to get married so we can get the hell out of this place.", he said as he cleaned up in the bathroom. I dressed in the short black dress and flats to match that Siasha left for me. Lance wore his blue jeans that he wore into my room. Hand in hand we walked through the hallways of the mansion to the dining hall. When we arrived I heard cheers from the crowd and William cleared his throat to silence them.

"Now that the first part of the test has been completed and passed they must be married and make love in front of us in this very room to seal the deal."

"Wha.", Is all I could get out before Lance pulled me in for a kiss and I heard him whisper, "just behave and it will be over soon.". I did as he asked and he kissed me deeply.

The king stood in front of us and handed us gold rimmed wine glasses. "This is where you will drain some of your blood and the other will drink it,'' he explained.

We were handed a knife and he took it first and cut his wrist and let the red liquid fill the glass. When he was done I took it and slit my wrist and did exactly what he had done. I heard gasps from the crowd because I don't think they expected me to actually slit my wrist myself.

"Now,'' William said, " take each other's glass and drink."

We did and his blood was the most delicious, most intoxicating thing I had ever tasted in my life. It was my new candy and I didn't know how I was going to be able to not suck him dry once given the chance. As we drank William spoke," you now have a part of each other inside of you to be connected and together for eternity. You are now one in the eyes of our people. Now for the mating ritual".I hated this part. Some of these men had already seen me naked. I didn't want the whole coven to have seen my body.

In a flash Lance had shoved everything off of the table where we had eaten earlier and revealed the cherry stained wood. He pulled me closer to him and forced me down on the table. He ran his hand gently down the side of my neck to my breast that was barely covered by the fabric of my dress and he pulled it down for my bare breasts to be shown. By this point I didn't care who saw me I was needing to feel Lance pound into my body I needed to bite into his flesh and feel him bite into mine I had a carnal hunger that was needing to be fed. I pulled him to me and wrapped my left leg over his body as he hungrily went after my left breast and pulled at the other one with his free hand. I could feel him pulling up the hem of my dress and I lifted my butt so he could push it up. To his and everyone else's surprise I wasn't wearing any panties. I heard his heart pick up and he thrusted two fingers inside of me and I rocked with him and my orgasm building up. He stopped and that's when I made my move I flipped him underneath me. I pulled off his pants and straddled him. I then heard gasps again when I ripped my dress off. My people stood and parted as we continued our way back to Lance's room. We were now crowned prince and princess.

When we woke up the next day we had slept way into the afternoon. I walked over to the sliding glass doors that led out to the balcony and could see dark clouds heavy with rain. I went to the side table to find my phone to see what time it was because I couldn't really tell by looking outside and I realized I had left my phone in the other room. I pulled on a fluffy robe that I saw draped over a couch and I went looking for my phone. I searched down a couple of hallways looking for the room I had been in last night and bumped into Terrance. Oh great I thought as I rolled my eyes.

"Princess.", he sneered, " already trying to run into me and you've only been married twelve hours." I rolled my eyes and kept walking ignoring his demeaning comments. He followed me and caught up and pulled me to him by my waist. I slapped him and he let out a wicked laugh.

"You don't think I'm letting you go that easy... do you princess? I will have you no matter what it takes and you can count on that.".

"I will never be yours.", I sneered back at him as I kneed him in the groin. Once I was free I sprinted back the way I came and found my room. Lance was still sleeping and I crawled in next to him. He turned towards me and pulled me to him.

"Good morning love.".

I kissed him. "More like afternoon.", I said. "When can we go home? I want to get as far away as possible from this place.".

He kissed my forehead, " as soon as we get packed". We heard a knock on the door and Lance got out of bed and slid on his boxers. He answered the door and it was William.

"Well son your wife sure proved herself last night and you are free to go, but remember I will be checking in every few months to make sure you are actively trying to have a baby. We need as many new vampire children as possible so we can breed out the old and have a new way of life".

I rolled my eyes, " I'm not a baby making machine."

"Dad, we will have children when we are ready. It will take a few months for Melody's birth control to leave her system anyway. We also want to wait until we are financially stable and get the partying out of our system."

William looked less than amused. " First of all you are financially stable because you have millions of dollars sitting in your checking that I drafted last night and will continue to be put in your account each month. Second Melody you are 25 and you have an eight year window at best to have kids so get on it. You both are free to go back home." With that he turned and walked out the door.

It took us no time to pack our stuff and get the hell out of there and in just a few hours we were home. It felt so good to be here and yet so weird to know that the rest of the human population had no idea what was actually going on in the world. I plopped down on the bed and could finally relax. Lance laid down beside me and I curled up into him and drifted off to sleep.
