But the promise she made to her pure innocent self was broken after three months and worse of all, she later gave birth to a triplet!

To the heartless king Alfred; she had committed a sin and according to their custom",it was an abomination for a prince to come out of the same womb of a princess. And their only last option was to kill the two innocent girls.

Grace was stranded and didn't know what to do. She didn't want her child to die like that in order to save them, She gave them to her sister who was aware of her plans and later took them to a different village.

What later became the fate of those triplets who find themselves in different places? And then what later happened if fate decided to bring these two girls together, making them switch each other's rules as they look so identical?
Will they be able to get out of the mess which they've cursed for themselves

Chapter 1

"Sister; where are you going? Father explained to me where all those guards are taking my sister to? What happened mother, father? Teresa asked her parents in tears as all her senior sister could do was to cry in pain.

"Your sister is going for the king concubine selection and that's the only thing I gotta say. Her father uttered the words out like there was nothing Wrong in the three statements which he just uttered.

"It will be okay! Teresa, don't you cry! I'm sure I can handle every circumstance. Grace assured. Aware of what's gonna happen immediately she steps her foot inside the king palace. She knows exactly the type of man King Alfred was. He was an heartless, ruthless and cold_hearted King feared by the neighborhood village.

King Alfred had three wife and recently he had picked interest in her which was the reason why he had sent his guards to escort her for the concubine ritual which will be held today. Grace never wanted to live in this way but she had no choice. As a eighteen years old girl she was, she didn't wanted to live by the rules but guess she can't do anything since she's just an ordinary slave.

And of course, her mother was to be blamed for this ill fate they're about to put her on. Grace probably knows her life wouldn't have been like this if she was born with a silver spoon. But guess what? How could she have escaped from that good for nothing poor woman she called her mother? She had always wanted to sell her off so yeah, this is the best opportunity for her.

Grace glared at her sister one more time before entering the carriage which was abruptly waiting for her. She probably knew from the movement she would step foot inside the palace, her life was gonna change. Obviously her life will turn into a crisis from the worse it has already been to the worse which has already been planned to happen.

While on her way to the palace, Grace could see some Children who were begging on the road. A tear streamed out of her eyes when she remembered her parents. "But why's King Alfred just so heartless? He had the money! He had everything which the people of melayu would need but he never bring out his penny to help the poor as his aim was to gather many soldiers and have some slaves which he can control. But that's totally purely wicked.

They finally got to the palace as they waited a while for the gate to be open before they got in. Grace came down from the carriage as she saw....the King's sister... Victoria. "Greetings to you, your highness! Grace greeted her head bowed in obeisance as Victoria stared at her keenly.

"Are you one of the king selected concubines or unselected? Victoria asks as her heart skips. "I'm sorry your highness but I don't understand your point. She spoke politely so as not to sound rude to the king's little sister.

"Follow me! Let's find out if you're already one! Victoria utter as she matched to the Concubines quarter. "Stay here with your fellow Concubine! I will be back shortly! Victoria utters and walks away. Grace went to sit in an empty mat not far away from some of the Concubines that were in the room with her.

"I have High hopes for my future and all I just need is to be One of the Concubines for tonight. And then I'm sure to get everything I want if I can be the King Concubine because I know it's gonna favor me. One of the ladies uttered as the three of them who were sitting together laughed at her.

" You think being the king Concubine will surely give you everything you want, do you? And then I'm certain that you knew that the King has three wives and none of them were able to conceive him a child and you think you lower rank Concubin who's nothing but his sex slave will offer him a male child? The other lady slammed her back as they burst into more laughter.

No need to argue with them because they might be right. Everything is pointless anyway. She can do anything but watch the unfortunate series events that happen in her life. But what was her master thinking for sending her here to MALAY KINGDOM hoping she will find a chance in becoming one of the King's Concubine tonight because the king will be choosing only three of them here.

Susan's attention was pulled on the quiet Grace who was seated on her own.. "would I even get in? She muttered to herself again after glancing at Grace who was a lot prettier than everyone of them here and she felt like she's actually the ugly one. Suddenly, the door opened revealing Victoria who was escorted by her maids on her side.

"Let's get started!

The concubine selection event went out successfully and king Alfred had chosen three out of the six concubines who he had asked to be present. Grace felt so sad due to the fact that the king had chosen her among his new concubines and you couldn't even believe the way he was looking at her back earlier.

"And as you all have known my brother.... The king is looking for a male heir! Just a male heir and not a female heir. I repeat just a male child and not a female child because I'm sure you all know what will happen if you provide him a female child?" Although he might consider the female child as his own child, but....he will never treat her the way he's gonna treat his male child, so I hope you all know what to do.

Neither is it only that but... Whoever gave him a first heir will become his fourth wife. How great is that? I'm sure you all want to be among the King's wives. I'm sure you all wish to be given a lot of respect? I'm sure you ladies doesn't just want to be a concubine who's a sex doll to a man?

"If you really wish to be respected by all people, then try your best to give the King a true heir. Victoria uttered as their eyes widened open. " What if the person gave birth to twins? Susan utter trying to figure out something.

Victoria laughed on her questions as she took a deep breath. If the person gives birth to male twins, they will be jubilated but if it's a different gender.... Then I'm afraid they will be some sacrifice and of course murder between those child.

"Get downstairs and apologize to your sister. If you can't, pack your things and get out."

Zachary didn't hesitate. "Let Valerie go," he said.

He actually chose to save his sister-in-law! In that moment, even the baby in my belly seemed to stop kicking.

Later, they locked me in the basement. Drugs to delay labor were pumped into my veins over and over. Zachary wanted to save the "firstborn son" status for his sister-in-law's child.

"Zachary," I whispered into the phone, "our child... can't wait any longer."

When my parents forced me to donate my organs to my sister, I didn't refuse or run away. I just quietly signed the surgical consent forms, willingly giving my kidney to Vivienne, their beloved daughter.

A few months ago, my sister was hospitalized with kidney failure. The doctor said she needed a transplant. My family's first thought was me—the backup daughter they'd kept around all these years.

When my husband Allen took my hand with tears in his eyes and said, "Only you can save her," I agreed without hesitation.

When the doctor explained the surgical risks and potential complications, I smiled and nodded my understanding.

My parents said I'd finally learned what sisterly love meant.

Even Allen, who'd always been cold to me, held my hand gently and said, "The surgery's safe. You're so healthy, nothing will go wrong. When you recover, I'll take you to Hawaii."

But they don't know that no matter how the surgery goes, I won't be around to celebrate.

Because I just got my own test results—I have terminal brain cancer. I'm going to die anyway.

Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.

When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.

"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"

George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"

"I'm afraid that's impossible."

Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."

"White wolf! Kill that monster!"
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.

I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis

Being second best is practically in my DNA. My sister got the love, the attention, the spotlight. And now, even her damn fiancé.
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.

They say your life can change in a heartbeat.
Mine changed in the time it took to open a door.
Behind it: my fiancé Nicholas with another woman.
Three months until our wedding. Three seconds to watch it all burn.
I should have run. Should have screamed. Should have done anything except stand there like a fool.
Instead, I heard the devil himself whisper in my ear:
"If you're willing, I could marry you."
Daniel. The brother I was warned about. The one who made Nicholas look like a choir boy.
He leaned against the wall, watching my world implode.
My pulse thundered. "What?"
"You heard me." His eyes burned into mine. "Marry me, Emma."
But as I stared into those magnetic eyes, I realized something terrifying:
I wanted to say yes to him.
Game on.
