Dear Reader,
Before you dive into this story, I want to give you a gentle heads-up. This book contains some mature and emotional themes, including:
Crime and murder
Mentions of sexual assault
Violence and intense situations
Some sexual content
Law enforcement and criminal investigations
While these elements are part of the plot and character journeys, I understand they can be difficult for some readers. Your comfort is important. If at any point it feels like too much, it’s okay to pause or step away.
Thank you for choosing to read this story, I appreciate you.
Ariel Cole is a sharp-tongued FBI agent with a rocky past and a knack for uncovering dark secrets. But nothing prepares her for the horror that hits too close to home, the brutal murder of a minister’s daughter, found strangled in an abandoned building. The killer left no trace... except a chilling pattern: every victim had one final date with a man no one can identify — and then they died.
When Ariel discovers a strange man saved her life during a chaotic mission, only to disappear without a word — she can’t shake the feeling that he knows more than he should. But the deeper she digs, the more terrifying the puzzle becomes.
Because the next name on the killer’s list might be hers.
And the man she trusts most?
Might be the one hunting her.
Chapter 1
Chapter 1
The door to the club burst open. Loud music and the strong scent of alcohol and cigarette filled the air.
On stage, a pole dancer spun seductively, her curves drawing the hungry eyes of men. I scoffed loudly, almost getting hit by a drunken slut who stumbled past.
I shook my head in frustration. I was only here for James, and that was it.
“A glass of tequila. Not mixed,” I told the bartender curtly.
My eyes roamed over the crowd of dancers. James was at the other end of the room, talking to a blonde girl with bright yellow hair. They were close, discussing something, and exchanging something, I couldn’t quite see.
The bartender handed me the drink. I collected it and turned back to see James approaching.
“Hey, babe,” he greeted casually.
“Who was that?” I asked immediately.
“No one,” he said without hesitation.
I gave him a stern look. “Quit the act, James. I saw you back there.”
“Babe, come on.” He chuckled. “Are you seriously thinking that?”
I didn’t respond. I simply drank the tequila in one long swallow.
“Alright, alright,” he said with a shrug. “She wanted a night with me, which I refused. You know I don’t do such things. Besides, this is a club, Ariel, they don’t give a shit.”
“How far with the stuff? Did you get him?” I asked, changing the topic.
“Yeah. Shahzad will be leaving the club soon. We have to catch him before he leaves for Oakland,” James said, checking the tracker on his phone.
I downed the rest of my drink in one go.
“Let’s go.”
Just as I stood up, I felt a sudden wave of dizziness. My eyes darted to the empty glass, then to the bartender. He was cleaning another glass, but the shift of his eyes gave him away, something was off.
“Get down!” I shouted at James.
A gunshot rang out.
“We’ve been caught,” I groaned, drawing my pistol as we ducked behind the bar counter. I cocked my gun, looked at James, and nodded.
We both rose at once, returning fire as bullets flew everywhere. Chaos erupted throughout the club. People screamed and scattered. James ran toward the other side.
“Shahzad is escaping!” he shouted, dashing into the inner room.
I spotted the blonde girl from earlier chasing after him. I wanted to follow, but the gunfire surrounding me was relentless.
I ducked behind a chair, shielding my ears as bullets rained down. When it died down a little, I sprang up and opened fire with fierce determination.
Within minutes, they were all down.
I reloaded quickly and made my way through the inner room. I pulled open the first curtain and was met with the sight of a man getting his dick sucked.
I groaned in disgust and opened the next, a naked man screamed.
Then I saw him, Shahzad.
He was up ahead running.
I tried calling James, but the call wouldn’t go through.
I didn’t hesitate. I followed him as he exited the building and entered a vehicle. My car was parked on the other side of the road. I sprinted across, jumped in, and fired up the engine, swerving into traffic to catch up with him.
His men opened fire. I twisted the steering wheel, dodging bullets.
“Shit,” I muttered as one bullet shattered my side glass.
I pushed the pedal harder and caught up. Glancing to my left, I swerved the car into theirs, metal smashed against metal.
They fired again. I ducked slightly, then raised my gun, aimed at their tires, and pulled the trigger.
The shot hit.
Their car swerved wildly, lost control, and overturned in a loud crash.
I braked hard and stepped out of my vehicle, gun raised toward the wreck.
“This is the FBI! Do not move!” I called out, walking slowly toward the wreck.
Shahzad emerged from the broken car, blood dripping from a wound on his head. He raised his hands, a smug smirk on his lips.
“On your knees, Shahzad. It’s over.”
I moved closer, keeping my gun trained on him. I bent his arms behind his back and pulled out my handcuffs. But he fought back suddenly, slipping free.
I pulled the trigger.
Click, it was empty.
I cursed, threw the gun aside, and sprinted after him. He darted into a nearby street, knocking over anything he could to slow me down.
We raced into a narrow alley. I spotted a rod, threw it, and it smacked the back of his head. He stumbled and fell.
I reached him, but he rose quickly and attacked. We exchanged blows. I dodged most of them until he wrapped his arm around my neck, choking me.
I gasped, clawing at his arm.
He laughed in my ear, tightening the hold. “You people thought you could get me. I’m not done with you all.”
My vision blurred. I struggled to breathe.
Then I saw him.
A man walking toward us. Shahzad laughed harder.
Must be one of his men.
The man raised a
gun, pointed straight at me.
I thrashed in Shahzad’s grip trying to set free.
Then, I heard a loud BANG.

The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

The Biker's Fate
I squeezed my eyes shut.
"Dani," he pressed. "Do you get me?"
"No, Austin, I don't," I admitted as I pulled my robe closed again and sat up. "You confuse me."
He dragged his hands down his face. "Tell me what's on your mind."
I sighed. "You're everything my parents warned me against. You're secretive, but you're also honest. I feel wholly protected by you, but then you scare me more than anyone I've ever known. You're a bad boy, but when I dated a so-called good one, he turned out to be the devil, so, yeah, I don't get you because you're not what I expected. You drive me crazier than anyone I've ever met, but then you make me feel complete. I'm feeling things I don't quite know how to process and that makes me want to run. I don't want to give up something that might be really, really good, but I also don't want to be stupid and fall for a boy just because he's super pretty and makes me come."

The Biker Alpha Who Became My Second Chance Mate
"You're like a sister to me."
Those were the actual words that broke the camel's back.
Not after what just happened. Not after the hot, breathless, soul-shaking night we spent tangled in each other's arms.
I knew from the beginning that Tristan Hayes was a line I shouldn't cross.
He wasn't just anyone, he was my brother's best friend. The man I spent years secretly wanting.
But that night... we were broken. We had just buried our parents. And the grief was too heavy, too real...so I begged him to touch me.
To make me forget. To fill the silence that death left behind.
And he did. He held me like I was something fragile.
Kissed me like I was the only thing he needed to breathe.
Then left me bleeding with six words that burned deeper than rejection ever could.
So, I ran. Away from everything that cost me pain.
Now, five years later, I'm back.
Fresh from rejecting the mate who abused me. Still carrying the scars of a pup I never got to hold.
And the man waiting for me at the airport isn't my brother.
It's Tristan.
And he's not the guy I left behind.
He's a biker.
An Alpha.
And when he looked at me, I knew there was no where else to run to.
Balance of Light and Shadow
Little did she know how much both worlds need her to bring peace and true freedom.
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.

My Possessive Alpha Twins For Mate
My drunk stepfather remained indifferent, his weight suffocating, making it hard to breathe as my heart raced.

"Get off her!" a deafening roar echoed.
I didn't expect the twin brothers who'd bullied me at school to come charging in like gods to save me.

Oops, Wrong Girl to Bully
My back hit the desk. Pain exploded through my skull.
"Girls like you don't get to dream about guys like Kai." Bella's breath was hot on my face. "You don't get to write pathetic love letters."
She shoved me again. Harder.
"Maybe if you weren't such a desperate little—"
I fell. My head cracked against the corner.
Warmth trickled down my neck. Blood.
Their laughter turned to gasps.
The door slammed.
I tried to stand. Couldn't. The room was spinning, fading to black.
