Chapter 1
Sibel’s POV
"I, Sibel Cormac, sole heir of Alpha Calvin, the mighty King of Moonfang Pack, do solemnly swear by the sacred goddess to vanquish Alpha Darius, our sworn adversary and the ruthless leader of Shadowclaw Pack. I pledge to safeguard the vulnerable and wage war against the forces of darkness that threaten our very existence. The fate of Moonfang and our pack mates hangs in the balance, and I, with strong determination, shall lead the charge into the fray. Tomorrow, we march into battle, with me at the forefront and our brave warriors by my side. The dawn of victory is upon us, and our enemies shall soon tremble before the might of Moonfang!"
The moon goddess shines her light upon us, and victory is assured. As I strolled onto the training ground, I behold the warriors' fearless determination, and a smile of triumph graces my lips.
My unbroken record in battle is a result to my unyielding spirit, but this triumph will mean more than personal glory—it will bring honor to our pack and cement our legacy.
The warriors' preparedness kindles hope within me, and my determination remains unshaken, for fear has never been an option I've embraced.
With the goddess's blessing and our pack's bravery, we shall emerge victorious, our hearts filled with courage and our souls unbroken.
I’m renowned as one of the strongest women in our pack, celebrated for my bravery and unwavering strength.
On the night of my 18th birthday, a pack of six rogue wolves launched a surprise attack on me. But I refused to back down, fighting them off with every ounce of strength I had.
That fierce battle solidified my reputation as a formidable force in our pack, earning me a place in our history.
After the training session, the night finally arrived, and I prepared for a well-deserved rest.
I has a cool refreshing bath, then pampered myself by applying fragrant oil to my skin.
Slipping into a comfortable night robe, I settled into bed, feeling the softness envelop me. As I lay there, I surrendered to the allure of sleep, letting nature's tranquility wash over me.
The next morning (war day)
As dawn broke on the day of battle, we marched towards the battlefield, our enemies visible in the distance. A faint smile crept onto my lips. "Today, we fight for triumph!" I declared, my voice ringing out across the ranks.
"If we fall before the day is won?" I asked, my eyes scanning the rows of determined warriors.
"We commend our souls to the goddess!" they responded in unison, their voices echoing through the morning air.
"Attack!" I yelled, and the warriors echoed my cry in a high tone.
They charged towards the enemy. The sound of battle erupted as they all moved perfectly in sync with each other.
The battlefield was full of fur, teeth, and blood as my pack clashed with the rival wolves. I led the charge, my claws slashing through the air, my teeth bared.
The enemy pack, the Shadowclaw, fought back with a vicious tenacity that matched our own.
For three days and three nights, we battled under the sun and the moon.
I was exhausted, but I pushed forward, driven by the need to protect my pack and assert our dominance.
My sword skills were second to none, as I slashed the enemies with different moves.
I fought until I stood face to face with the enemy general, Asher. His eyes were cold and calculating, his movements precise and deadly. But I was ready for him.
If I defeated the general, the rest of the Shadowclaw pack would eventually retreat. I had to make this fight with Asher a victorious one.
I reminisced about the first night when our forces clashed with an intensity that left the ground soaked in blood and littered with the fallen. The second night brought a brutal stalemate, neither side gaining any significant ground.
And now, on the third night, I saw my chance with Asher. Asher, though still fierce, showed signs of weariness. I lunged at him, our swords clashing and flying in different directions, leaving us with our teeth and claws as weapons.
I lunged at him again, my jaws closing around his neck.
With a savage twist, I bit deep, feeling the crunch of bone beneath my teeth. His body went limp, and I flung him aside, his blood staining the ground.
It was easier than I thought. My body was soaked in blood, including Asher’s.
The battlefield fell silent as the Shadowclaw pack retreated, their leader’s injury shattering their resolve. I stood amidst the carnage, my breath coming in ragged gasps.
Victory was ours at last, but it had come at a great cost. The bodies of both packs lay scattered around me.
I returned to the pack secretly, slipping away to the secluded part of the forest where I tended to my wounds, knowing that my recovery would take time.
But peace was never an option. Hearing the screams and cries of people, I discovered a horror that ignited a new rage within me.
I strode towards the gathering crowd, my heart heavy with foreboding. I grasped a veil dangling from a rope and draped it over my face, my eyes scanning the scene before me.
"What's happening?" I asked a boy, his eyes wide with shock.
"They killed my sister," he stammered, his voice trembling. A woman approached me, her gaze piercing.
"You don't know what's going on?" she asked, and I shook my head indication I wasn't aware of whatever that was going on.
"We've been living in terror," she explained, her voice laced with fear. "The beta has been bullying and killing us, the omega, exploiting our weakness," she concluded.
Three days of war with Shadowclaw had emboldened them, and our own pack members had turned against us. We're trapped in a nightmare, wondering who will be the next victim.
My fists clenched in anger as I learned of the omega members brutalized and slain in my absence by their own pack mates. I marched towards the border. The Moonfang and Shadowclaw territories lay divided, but the carnage was indiscriminate—the bodies of my people strewn across the ground.
The sight of their broken forms and haunted eyes filled me with a fury that burned hotter than any battle. The stronger werewolves had taken advantage of the weakest ones, preying on the most vulnerable members of our pack.
I couldn't stand by and let this injustice continue. As the daughter of the Alpha and future leader of the pack, it was my duty to protect every member, regardless of their rank. I knew I had to get to the root of the problem, uncover who was behind these atrocities, and put a stop to them.
Dylan, my Beta, arrived to report for duty. "You need rest, you've just come from a three-day war," he said, his voice laced with concern. But I brushed off his warning. "How can I rest when there are killings within the pack?" I countered, my mind racing with the urgency of the situation.
Dylan's expression turned inquiring. "What's your plan?" he asked.
"I need to hide my identity to uncover what's happening in the lowest ranks of the pack," I replied, my eyes locked on his.
Dylan's confusion was palpable. "How do you even think that's possible?" he asked, his brow furrowed in skepticism.
I handed him a piece of paper with an address scrawled on it. "Go to this address and retrieve an ancient potion," I instructed. "It's the key to concealing my identity."
Dylan's eyes lingered on the address, his expression a mix of confusion and concern. "How is this even possible?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.
I nodded, understanding his skepticism. "Just be careful, please, Sibel," he said, his eyes locking onto mine with a deep-seated worry. He turned to leave, but not before glancing at the paper still clutched in his hand.
I quickly looked for shelter to lay my head...
The next evening, I heard a faint knock on my door.
I cautiously approached the entrance. When I opened the door, I saw Dylan standing there with a smile on his face. He held up a package for me to see, and I couldn't help but smile back at him.
"I have what you're looking for," he said. "But it wasn't easy getting this ancient portion," he added, his expression turning serious. "Come in," I said, stepping aside to let him enter. As he did, I shut the door behind him.
"So, what are you going to do with the ancient potion?" Dylan asked, he was curious.
"Are you really kidding me?" I asked, my tone laced with sarcasm. "Of course, I'll drink it," I said.
Dylan's gaze turned serious, his brow furrowing with concern. "What if...what if the potion doesn't work as planned?" he asked. "What if it has unintended consequences like being harmful?" He paused.
This potion was the key to my survival. It would mask my true identity and scent, allowing me to move undetected through the pack.
Disguising myself as an omega was the only way to blend in and gather the information I needed.
"Don't worry, I'll be okay," I said as I poured the potion into my mouth and swallowed it. The liquid burned down my throat, and I could feel its power coursing through my veins.
At first, nothing seemed to happen. But then, a strange sensation washed over me, like my cells were shifting and rearranging themselves. My alpha form began to dissolve, my body changing until I stood before Dylan as an omega.
His eyes widened in shock, his jaw dropping open as he stared at me in disbelief. "Sibel...?" he whispered. I could see the confusion and amazement etched on his face, and I knew that the potion had worked. My aura was hidden, my identity transformed. I was no longer an alpha, but an omega.
On my first day undercover, I ventured into the pack's omega quarters. It was a stark contrast to the areas I was accustomed to.
The weaker omegas were full of fear and submission. I kept my head down, trying to appear inconspicuous, but my senses were on high alert, taking in every detail.
As I walked, I heard a commotion ahead. A group of omegas had gathered, their eyes wide with fear as they watched a scene unfold.
At the center of the disturbing scene was Jolie, her slender body shaking like a leaf as she faced off against a beta wolf.
Cara, the ruthless enforcer, loomed over her, reveling in her dominance. Jolie's whimpers filled the air as Cara's paw struck her with a loud crack, the sound resonating through the room like a whip.
My fury surged, but I wrestled it under control, aware that I had to keep up the charade. Yet, I couldn't bring myself to stand by and do nothing. I took a bold step forward, my heart racing with a mix of fear and indignation.
"Enough!" I cried, my voice trembling with a carefully crafted blend of fear and defiance.
Cara's gaze snapped towards me, her eyes narrowing into slits. "And who do you think you are?" she sneered, her voice oozing contempt. I swallowed hard, keeping my head bowed in a show of submission. "I-I'm just trying to help," my voice barely above a whisper.
Cara's laughter was like a rusty gate, grating and harsh. "An omega helping another omega? How quaint. How noble." Her sarcasm was palpable.
"But you'd do well to remember your place." Before I could react, her hand whipped out, striking me across the face with a stinging blow.
Pain exploded in my cheek, but I bit down on my anger, forcing myself to remain calm. I couldn't afford to blow my cover, not when I was so close to uncovering the truth.

When the doctor explained the surgical risks and potential complications, I smiled and nodded my understanding.
My parents said I'd finally learned what sisterly love meant.
Even Allen, who'd always been cold to me, held my hand gently and said, "The surgery's safe. You're so healthy, nothing will go wrong. When you recover, I'll take you to Hawaii."
But they don't know that no matter how the surgery goes, I won't be around to celebrate.
Because I just got my own test results—I have terminal brain cancer. I'm going to die anyway.

His deceptions continued until the day the divorce was finalized. I threw the papers in his face: "George Capulet, from this moment on, get out of my life!"
Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."
