Chapter 1
At the Harry Medical Center, in one of the hospital wards, a middle-aged woman sat on a chair at the foot of the hospital bed, looking somewhat irritable.
“Daughter, look at this good-for-nothing. He’s been lying there like this for so long. If things keep like this, there’s no end in sight.”
Lying on the hospital bed was a handsome man, with an IV bottle beside him, continuously delivering nutrients into his body to sustain his life.
“Light… there’s light?”

“How do you feel?”
In the ward, Vicky Norton blinked her eyes and asked in a somewhat inexplicable tone.

“Vicky?” After drinking some water, Walter William felt much better. He asked tentatively, “How long… have I been unconscious?”
“Half a year has passed,” she paused for a moment, then continued, “To be exact, 195 days.”
