Introduction
Chapter 1
At the Harry Medical Center, in one of the hospital wards, a middle-aged woman sat on a chair at the foot of the hospital bed, looking somewhat irritable.
“Daughter, look at this good-for-nothing. He’s been lying there like this for so long. If things keep like this, there’s no end in sight.”
Lying on the hospital bed was a handsome man, with an IV bottle beside him, continuously delivering nutrients into his body to sustain his life.
“Light… there’s light?”
I don’t know how long I wandered in the dark void, but suddenly, a glimmer of light appeared before my eyes. This tiny ray of light in the endless nothingness brought Walter William back to consciousness, just as he was about to lose it.
He couldn’t help but fly towards that beam of light.
It grew brighter and brighter. Finally, the light disappeared, and he suddenly felt his body sink downward. Touches that he hadn’t felt in ages seemed to appear around him and in his ears.
The warmth of the sun, the scent on the tip of one’s nose…
Suddenly, he heard a conversation coming from nearby.
It seems as though my soul has taken possession of a person’s body. My soul isn’t fully merged with the physical body yet, so I’m unable to make any movements.
It’s just… this conversation seems somewhat… familiar?
“Vicky, you’re not a child anymore. You’ve taken care of this guy for half a year. That’s enough. Don’t you want to live your own life? What is it about Beck Carmen that’s not as good as this good-for-nothing who’s just freeloaded off us?”
Vicky Norton’s gaze turned slightly sad; she didn’t know how to respond.
“It doesn’t matter if we get married. We can always divorce later. You’re such a great catch, daughter. There’s no need to stick to one man forever.” Seeing that her words had an effect, Mrs. Norton continued to press her advantage. “Don’t worry, someone will surely take care of that good-for-nothing. Just listen to your mother. Why not meet Beck Carmen?”
Finally, Vicky Norton’s face showed some emotion. But she still hesitated and said, “But I really don’t know Beck Carmen. And it’s not certain that he’d accept someone like me, who’s divorced…”
Mrs. Norton, seeing that there was actually a chance of it working out, became excited and said, “Don’t worry, Beck. I’ve met this kid, Carmen. I’ve also shown him your photos. He has a good impression of you. He doesn’t care at all. You can rest easy.”
However, at that very moment, Walter William’s soul finally merged completely with the body, allowing him to regain control over it.
“Water…”
“What?!”
The faint voice was particularly clear in the small hospital room. Realizing that the voice came from the hospital bed, Vicky Norton froze on the spot and turned her head toward Walter William.
“Water…”
Seemingly unable to adjust to the light around him, Walter William squinted his eyes and repeated the words weakly.
“Water! Water!”
Vicky Norton finally realized what had happened. She quickly helped him up and handed him a glass of water from the bedside.
“Damn it!” Lady Norton’s face darkened on the spot. She had tried so hard to persuade him, and it seemed like things were finally going well. Who would have thought that the boy would wake up all of a sudden?
“I’ll go call the doctor,” said Mrs. Norton, with a serious expression on her face, as she left the ward.
So what if I wake up? I’m still a good-for-nothing after all. How could a wretched toad even hope to marry into a higher-class family? Before, it was Vicky who wasn’t sensible. But now? No way!
“How do you feel?”
In the ward, Vicky Norton blinked her eyes and asked in a somewhat inexplicable tone.
Now that Walter William had truly awakened, she immediately forgot any doubts that had arisen in her heart due to her mother’s words.
“Vicky?” After drinking some water, Walter William felt much better. He asked tentatively, “How long… have I been unconscious?”
“Half a year has passed,” she paused for a moment, then continued, “To be exact, 195 days.”
Hearing this, Walter William froze for a moment. Then he closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and hid the shock in his eyes.
Exactly the same… identically the same!
No wonder it feels so familiar. I must have been reborn on Earth!
Who could have imagined that, by traversing that vast nothingness, one would actually cross the river of time and return to the past?
Yes, he is a reincarnated person.
However, unlike most reincarnated people, Walter William was a top ruler in another world before his reincarnation. That world also had a well-known name: the Magic World.
The waves of Wanjiang are relentless, yet I refuse to yield. There’s only one path for cultivation: Peter Reese!
Eternal Emperor — Walter William, Walter William!
At the peak of the Immortal Path, the last thing Walter William did was take a risky step through the door into the void.
After thousands of years of trials and hardships, Walter William was now fundamentally different from ordinary people. Although it seemed there was still a path ahead, various shortcomings left over from those early trials prevented him from moving forward. What a pity that was.
Entering the Gate of Void, all magical power is lost. But one gets a chance to start over. Who can say this isn’t one’s own opportunity?
This time, I will surely reach that peak level!
When he opened his eyes again, his expression had returned to normal.
Vicky Norton, who knew nothing about any of this, assumed that he had just woken up and was still not fully conscious.
“How do you feel?”
“It feels… much better,” Walter William nodded. If nothing went wrong, in a few seconds, his so-called mother-in-law would push open the door and walk in, with a grim expression on her face.
1……2……3……4……
Squeak…
The door was roughly pushed open.
“That worthless piece of trash is awake, huh? Great. I’ve just finished the discharge procedures. Since you’re fine now, get your things together and leave immediately!”
“Mom, can you please speak in a nicer tone?” Vicki Norton complained, “Walter William has just woken up.”
“I think he’s been awake for a while already. With that rosy complexion of his, how could he possibly be a patient? I’m sure he’s already awake and just pretending to sleep.” Lady Norton made no effort to hide the mockery in her voice toward Walter William. In fact, she looked at him as if he were nothing but trash.
Shaking his head gently, Walter William knew exactly what his mother-in-law was thinking. He had no job. Apart from a few years of study in medicine, which yielded no real skills, he knew nothing else. It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say he was essentially “marrying into” the Norton family.
No wonder people mock and make fun of her. Of course, this also has to do with Mrs. Norton’s snobbish nature.
“I’m talking to you. Stop pretending to be dead and get up. Leave now.” With a look of disgust, Lady Norton never liked this penniless, good-looking man from the start.
Walter William sighed inwardly, but showed no outward reaction.
To put it bluntly, Lady Norton was merely a mortal. In his eyes, she was nothing more than a tiny ant. As someone who used to be a deity, he certainly had the right to look down on her. Would a being as divine as him even pay attention to an ant? Even though he no longer possessed any magical power, using a little of his divine strength would be enough to kill her hundreds of thousands of times over.
Since I get a second chance at life… I must restore what was once broken in my foundation.
While packing his luggage, Walter William’s eyes flashed with strange golden lights.
“Vicky, come out with me for now. Let him sort things out by himself!” Lady Norton glared fiercely at Walter William’s retreating figure.
After glancing at Walter William, Vicky Norton hesitated for a moment, then nodded and walked out.
“I just received word that Beck Kamen has arrived at the agreed-upon hotel. Your father is talking with him right now. We’ll go over there in a bit. Please behave properly,” Mrs. Norton said, holding her hand and speaking earnestly. “Walter William can wake up when he’s ready. You need to understand that he and Beck Kamen are completely different kinds of people. For the young master of the Haoyu Group to take a liking to our family is an honor for us, okay?”
“But…” Vicky Norton looked conflicted.

After One Night with the Alpha
I thought I was waiting for love. Instead, I got fucked by a beast.
My world was supposed to bloom at the Moonshade Bay Full Moon Festival—champagne buzzing in my veins, a hotel room booked for Jason and me to finally cross that line after two years. I’d slipped into lacy lingerie, left the door unlocked, and lay on the bed, heart pounding with nervous excitement.
But the man who climbed into my bed wasn’t Jason.
In the pitch-black room, drowned in a heady, spicy scent that made my head spin, I felt hands—urgent, scorching—searing my skin. His thick, pulsing cock pressed against my dripping cunt, and before I could gasp, he thrust hard, tearing through my innocence with ruthless force. Pain burned, my walls clenching as I clawed at his iron shoulders, stifling sobs. Wet, slick sounds echoed with every brutal stroke, his body unrelenting until he shuddered, spilling hot and deep inside me.
"That was amazing, Jason," I managed to say.
"Who the fuck is Jason?"
My blood turned to ice. Light slashed across his face—Brad Rayne, Alpha of Moonshade Pack, a werewolf, not my boyfriend. Horror choked me as I realized what I’d done.
I ran away for my life!
But weeks later, I woke up pregnant with his heir!
They say my heterochromatic eyes mark me as a rare true mate. But I’m no wolf. I’m just Elle, a nobody from the human district, now trapped in Brad's world.
Brad’s cold gaze pins me: “You carry my blood. You’re mine.”
There is no other choice for me but to chose this cage. My body also betrays me, craving the beast who ruined me.
