Chapter 11

At that moment, a dazzling light flashed in Walter William’s eyes, after a single breath.

“Ah…”

A scream caught everyone’s attention, and immediately, the place fell silent.

Everyone turned to look. The massive bodyguard was kneeling on the ground, his face contorted in pain. He was completely unable to control his expressions. Walter William had his arm in a vice-like grip.

“Young master, save me… ah…”

Everyone present didn’t dare to take any reckless actions. Although they had no idea who Walter William was, the fact that he could subdue such a bodyguard meant he was certainly no easy opponent.

Walter William couldn’t be bothered to keep arguing with them. He took out the plastic card from his pocket and tossed it in front of the manager.

The manager nervously picked up the purple card, examined it carefully, and confirmed that it was indeed the purple card of the Carroll family. He was completely panicked.

“This is the Purple Card of the Carroll family…”

Everyone was terrified upon hearing this. Anyone who could obtain this purple card was undoubtedly an extraordinary person. As for their status in Glasgow, there’s no need to say more—it goes without question.

“Sir, it’s our fault for not noticing properly. Please let go first. We can discuss everything.”

The manager spoke in a trembling voice; his hands were shaking uncontrollably.

Walter Williams released his grip and sat down. Only then did everyone breathe a sigh of relief.

Young Master Li stood there frozen, not knowing what to say. How could he have known that this seemingly ordinary person actually possessed the Purple Card of the Carroll family?

The manager and those salespeople quickly stepped forward, offering tea, massaging legs and shoulders, and making sure to put on a friendly face at all times.

Although most of them wore bitter smiles on their faces, Walter William could barely hold back his emotions. Still, he thought they really had it tough, so he didn’t make things difficult for them.

Walter William placed this delicate little box on the table and opened it with a snap.

Stacks of cash were laid out in front of him. Walter William counted all of it carefully. In total, there was only 660,000.

“Oh no, it seems like I don’t have enough money. I’ll come back another day then.”

After Walter William finished speaking, he tried to get up, but the enthusiastic manager pushed him back onto the sofa.

“What kind of talk is that? Since it’s through Mr. Carroll, there’s no reason for you to come here again. We’ll simply collect the principal as a formality. The procedures are all in order. You can just drive away.”

This manager really made one feel like dealing with a tiger—a very daunting situation. Nervously, he swallowed hard.

“600,000?”

Walter William asked tentatively.

“Sir, you really have great taste. The purchase price of this car is exactly 600,000. That’s exactly right. If you like it, I’ll go through the procedures for you right away.”

Walter William didn’t say anything, as if he were thinking about something. But in reality, he wasn’t thinking about anything at all. He just wanted to see how far this manager would go.

The manager stared at Walter William without saying a word. Sweat had begun to appear on his forehead.

“500,000?”

The manager asked nervously. Although he was the manager, if things weren’t done properly, he would have to pay out of his own pocket.

But this person before him was someone he couldn’t afford to provoke. So, faced with this dilemma, Walter William truly felt some sympathy for him.

Walter William nodded, then took out the additional 60,000 pieces from the box and pushed the entire box into the manager’s arms.

Only then did the manager relax, and he quickly told the others to go through the procedures for Walter William.

From beginning to end, this Young Master Li didn’t say a word, his eyes wide as copper bells, until Walter William left.

If his family finds out that he’s offended the Carroll family, he’ll probably be in big trouble himself.

Walter William drove this new car on the road, heading straight for Vicky Norton’s company.

“A really good car is indeed something special.”

Walter William spoke in satisfaction, occasionally glancing inside the car to check the situation.

Soon, Walter William arrived downstairs from Vicky Norton’s company.

“Ouch.”

Suddenly feeling uncomfortable in his stomach, he hurriedly entered the office building. He found a restroom and only felt better after using the toilet.

“Move aside! If you keep this up, I’ll call for help.”

A woman’s voice could be faintly heard.

“Then go ahead and shout. Let everyone see who’s bothering me here.”

“Who’s bothering you?”

“Oh, please don’t do this. Don’t be angry. I’ll take good care of you.”

……

The more Walter William listened, the more something seemed off. Why did this voice sound so familiar?

Walter William walked over to the sink. In the corner, there was a man, and obviously, a woman as well. He immediately recognized Vicky Norton.

“Get out of the way.”

“Why do you want me to stay away? Don’t you like me?”

……

“Bang.”

“I really like your mom.”

Walter William swung his mop and hit the man right on the head, accompanied by a cry of pain.

“Who is it?”

“Your grandfather.”

Vicky Norton was stunned to see that it was Walter William. Her savior had arrived.

Vicky Norton ran up to Walter William, looking extremely upset, with tears in her eyes.

“How did this bastard bully you? Tell me.”

Walter William had already used all his strength in his punches. How dare he bully his woman?

“Be careful. He has very powerful connections. I doubt we can compete with him.”

Walter William said with concern. He was well aware of the background of this wealthy second-generation heir and knew better than to provoke him. That’s why the man became so arrogant.

“Don’t worry, go back to work. Leave it to me.”

Vicky Norton looked at Walter William with great concern. Walter William gently wiped the tears from her eyes and comforted her. After that, Vicky Norton went back to work, still very worried.

“Who the hell are you? Do you want to die? Do you even know who I am?”

“Alright, then today I’ll show you who I really am.”

Walter William slowly stepped forward, clenched his fists tightly, and threw a punch with all his strength.

Soon, the man in front of me had a swollen left face that resembled a pig’s head.

This second-generation rich kid covered his face, which was swollen like a pig’s head, and pointed angrily at Walter William, saying, “You’re done for.”

“If you ever dare to harass Vicky Norton again, I’ll kill you so thoroughly that you won’t even recognize your own ancestors.”

Walter William didn’t forget to punch this rich second-generation heir in the right face as well, to make things more balanced.

Although some of these wealthy second-generation heirs really wanted to kill Walter William, they didn’t have bodyguards with them. No one else was entering the area either. There was simply no way for them to fight back.

Walter William hadn’t moved a muscle in ages. Today seemed like a good opportunity. With eyes gleaming like a cat spotting a mouse, Walter William approached that rich second-generation heir once again.

“Don’t come over, don’t come over…”

The rich second-generation heir kept retreating, until he was cornered with nowhere to go. His eyes were filled with despair. Especially when he stared at Walter William’s fist, he realized what true pain was like.

“Ah…”

“Oh…”

“Help me…”

A series of agonizing screams followed one after another. However, the soundproofing in this room was excellent, so it was completely impossible to hear anything from outside.

In truth, Walter William didn’t go too far. He simply made this rich second-generation heir suffer immensely—making him feel as if life was worse than death, and filling him with utter terror.
