The Witch

As i sit here and think in the quiet i hear a weird sound outside. It sounds like howling or growling i am not sure which one and honestly i am not about to go out and find out what it is. I am white but i am not that white give me a break. My husband is sleeping and so are the kids. So i am sitting here in the quiet watching my show and drinking coffee. I don't know what it is about murder mysteries and unsolved case shows that are calming but they are my favorite thing to watch. Honestly this is my me time so i am going to enjoy it, for some reason though i feel the urge to get up and look out the door. Not just a simple urge that if you ignore it then it goes away either. I know it’s dumb and logically i shouldn’t but something deep inside of me is pulling me that way and i can’t help it. I get up from the couch and go to the window, when i open the curtain to look out i realize there are a pair of huge red eyes looking right at me. The eyes though they should be scary and uninviting they are not. They are calming and inviting instead. My curiosity gets to me and i step over to my front door. Rather than panicking and being scared i opened the door. The eyes belonged to a jet black wolf that stood about as tall as my Chevy Tahoe and was about as big too. Other than the red in his eyes he had absolutely no other color on him other than black. I didn’t make a sound i just turned my head to the side curiously because for some reason i was not scared. I wanted to get closer to the danger floof and pet him. He turned his head sideways just like mine and that was when i laughed. I wasn't laughing at him but to see an animal that big turn his head like a puppy and look at me sideways was one of the funniest things i have ever seen. He was a curious thing and definitely not mean in any way. I walked out of the door and into the back yard. The night air was cool but not cold, more of refreshing. As i walk across my lawn he moves closer to the tree line where it meets my yard. Once i am withing arms reach he moves closer to me. As he stepped closer i ran my fingers through his hair and instantly felt calm and safe. The warmth coming from his body enveloped me instantly and seemed to spread all around us. He was very powerful but also very calm and protective feeling to me. I don’t know what made me do it but i reached out and hugged him, not fast or harshly but just a comfort hug like i have been needing that my whole life and when i did i felt a shutter go through his entire body. I don't think he was expecting it and i am not sure he was ready for it either. He let out a growl and stepped back from me a little ways before looking me straight in the eyes and taking off into the woods. I went back inside and went to bed with a strange feeling that i just had a very realistic dream. I hope it wasn’t a dream though because i really want to see him again, he was beautiful!!

" I can’t believe that human wasn’t scared of me. Her blonde hair and green blue eyes caught me off guard because she smells like a wolf but does not have the features of one. She was curious and wanted to be close to me. Not only have i never had a human be so close and not care but a witch to not even react to the Alpha wave is not heard of. For some reason her touch made me tingle and feel very protective of her in an instant. She is a witch, wolf and human and there is no way she could bring out that side of me. My mate is the only one who cuold make me feel these things and she is not my mate. I need to get away from her and stay away, this could become trouble. If my body is reacting to her like this then there is definitely more going on with her other than just being drawn to her for protective reasons. I take off from her into the woods heading back to my territory. I am the Alpha of the Blood Moon Pack and i like to be around humans and town and watch how they interact with each other. We don't allow full humans around our territory due to the simple fact that we are not like humans other than our human form. We eat more, heal faster, and run quicker. We have higher metabolisms and the ability to transform into a full blown wolf with powers straight from the moon goddess Selene. If humans knew we existed and lived amongst them i am pretty sure they would have a fit, then again who knows weirder things have happen than being accepted by humans. I enter the territory and turn back into my human form, grab a set of clothes stashed in a tree area for such occasions, and head inside. As i enter the mansion i am greeted by my beta and gamma. They can smell the girl on me and instantly have questions about where i was and what i was doing. I laugh because even though normally it would be out of line i literally grew up with these guys and they are like brothers so i take it as them being over protective, not to mention they think she is just human and they are afraid i would tear her apart. They just aren’t built like us!!!”

I woke up this morning with a burning sensation to get the day over with so night time would come and my family would go to bed. I don't need them asking questions when i have so many myself and have no answers to share with them. I know that sounds wrong but i need to see if it was a dream or if it was real and that wolf comes back. It felt like one of the most intense and realistic dreams i have ever had. If he comes back then i am not a crazy mom who is on the edge. Though i wouldn't rule that part out just yet. Instead i am a mother and wife to a family that has no clue we have a giant wolf living somewhere in the forest on the edge of town. I doubt either of my kids would be scared considering they watch they same kinds of movies and shows that i do, my husband would probably just think i am crazy any ways. I am not sure which is worse at this point. I still have 6 years minimum til the kids are big enough that i don’t have to be here for everything. I can’t be losing my mind now. Not when i am so close to the goal and getting to do a little of what i want again. Parenting is hard and a full time job. I hurry and get the kids off to school and head to work. Being at work always helps the time to go by faster. I clean the 4 houses i have for the day and go get my son from school. We got get smoothies and do homework. Anything i can to make the time go by faster. After we get back to the house i clean my own house and make dinner. After dinner i do dishes and get everyone to take their showers, then it’s bed time. My husband goes to bed first because he gets up the earliest for work. Getting up at 4 am is exhausting and bedtime comes by 8. Then the kids next and it’s back to being just me sitting up in the dark. As i am sitting there drinking my coffee guess who shows up in the edge of the forest line again? If you guessed that beautiful black wolf then you would be right. This time i don’t even hesitate i quietly sneak out theback door and across the back yard where i climb on top of the wolfs back. I lean into his ear and tell him to take me away. I don't know if i mean it or not but just being with him calms my everything and makes me want to leave with him. The peace and quiet is amazing. As he turns his head to look at me i swear i hear him say okay, stunned i sit up and he takes off. He is fast and smoothe as he runs through the woods behind my house. I grip his fir tight and close my eyes, I am scared to look and see what is coming. This was not what i was expecting.
