Introduction
Are you ready to face the judgmental types of society?
And what if your path will cross again with the man you dedicated yourself to?
Chapter 1
I just woke up the next day in an unfamiliar place, and tried to rewind what happened. What’s even more surprising is that I have a man next to me.
I picked up my clothes one by one, and quickly put them on for fear of waking up the man who was asleep. I started crying in my car because I didn’t think I would make a mistake I would regret.
We met at the bar. I was very drunk then because the hotel owner asked me to resign. I've been working for them for ten years, and they'll offer me to immediately resign.
What have I got to do with that guest's nonsense?
I saw the stranger quietly drinking. He was handsome. I'm a bit tipsy and I'm not used to drinking hard drinks. I approached him and introduced myself. He just stared at me.
Angrily, I pulled out the glass he was holding.
"What the hell is your problem?"
"Give it to me now," he said with a clear voice.
I closed him even more, and thought of the mischief.
I suddenly poured the wine on my blouse. To tease him, I held my boobs while looking at him directly in his eyes.
I saw his two eyes, surprised at what I did. He suddenly pulled me and kissed me, and that's what happened to us.
Damn it!
My head hurts. What have you done, Andrea? I recuse myself.
Oh, God…
There is nothing more I can do because I have already given my praise. Just don't bear fruit because I was fertile that night.
My head hurt even more than I thought could happen in my life.
I get my cell phone out of my bag and dial my best friend Tanya's number. I will spend the day with her .She didn't answer my call immediately. Maybe she was busy with her boyfriend. I wondered what they were doing.
Finally, minutes later, the witch answered my call.
"Hello, is your boyfriend there?" I'll cut her off. She might get mad at me again. "I mean, I can stay at your place, even just for a night. Please, Tanya. Please?"
She agreed immediately.
I quickly speared my fortuner.
I was in front of my best friend's house for a few hours. I couldn't stop myself from envying her. She is happy even though her boyfriend is, you know. While I am NBSB or No Boyfriend Since Birth, and unfortunately I have lost the pride of stupidity.
I don't want to think about what's not important. I'll forget that.
I approached the gate of Tanya’s house and rang the doorbell. She came out quickly, and I don't know why I hugged her, which surprised her.
"Are you okay, beshy? Do you have a problem?" she asked me softly.
How do I tell her I'm a bit of a lunatic who just had sex with an unknown man?
I simply replied, "No."
She invited me inside. She prepared some food for me and we watched the movie. Suddenly, my tears dropped because I was somewhat related to what we were watching.
That girl in the movie sold herself to the man to pay for her mother's operation, and they had a child. The difference between me and the Female Lead is that she lost her virginity in a meaningful way, whereas I lost mine because of stupidity and flirtation.
Tanga noticed my tears flowing. "Carried away, relate much?" she asked me bluntly.
I almost choked on the meat I was eating when she said that.
"Are you okay, Besh? Here's water," he asked, handing me a glass of water.
"I'm okay... Nothing to worry about. I just remembered something." I lied to her.
I don’t want her to criticize me when she finds out what I did...
The movie was coming to an end, and I couldn't stand what I was watching, so I said goodbye to Tanya.
“I'm sorry… I'm just tired.” I walked up the stairs headed to the room, and quickly locked the door so she wouldn't follow me.
I collapsed on the bed and burst into tears. I didn’t know what I would do if I got pregnant. That one night stand is a big mistake of my life.
I didn't realize that I had fallen asleep. I just woke up past seven in the evening when I looked at my wristwatch.
I quickly got up and got dressed in the walk-in closet to take a shower. I still have some clothes left here because I once lived here when we were still in college. I just bought my own flood when Tanya had a boyfriend, and he's often here. Because that goatfish was more greedy than my best friend, we would quarrel as if I was the one who avoided it.
I went to the comfort room and soaked in the bathtub. I cleaned myself because I could feel the dirt in my hair now. I was there for a few hours, and then I felt cold.
I went upstairs and took another piece of clothing to cover my body. I looked in the mirror, and was shocked when I had a hickey on my neck.
For God's sake, not one but three!
I was caught off guard and ashamed of what I had done. What if Tanya sees this and asks where I get this? What am I going toI say?
I quickly got dressed and went downstairs. I saw that she was cooking.
"You're awake. Let's have dinner." She offered and smiled at me.
"No, it's okay. I have to go. I forgot something to do at the hotel." I lied again. I can't even say that I don't have a job now.
She took me outside, and I thanked her.
I rode my fortuner and I ran it fast. I went straight to my house. I wanted to rest because I was feeling tired physically, and my mind was working at a fast pace… From my resignation to my hasty eating and the craziness I experienced that night.
I arrived in Makati past eight o'clock in the evening. I got out of my car and took the key out of my bag. I opened the door and closed it.
The lights in my house were solar powered so it opens automatically at night.
I throw my shoulder bag and lie down on the sofa. I'm too lazy to go to my room… I just want to sleep well and forget about everything.

His deceptions continued until the day the divorce was finalized. I threw the papers in his face: "George Capulet, from this moment on, get out of my life!"
Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."

I fell. My head cracked against the corner.
Warmth trickled down my neck. Blood.
Their laughter turned to gasps.
The door slammed.
I tried to stand. Couldn't. The room was spinning, fading to black.
