After Divorce, I Became the Tycoon’s Favorite
Irene Vale · Ongoing · 66.3k Words
Introduction
Until the day she watched her husband's Bentley rocking on the roadside, and knew exactly why.
She played it cool. Maneuvered him into signing the divorce papers without a clue, then waited for her billion-dollar exit.
But before she could walk free, someone poisoned her drink and staged a crash that nearly killed her.
The man who saved her wasn't the husband who swore he loved her — it was Erwin, cold, dangerous, and ruler of a business empire.
The untouchable, legendary Erwin — shielding her, risking himself, again and again.
When Levi finally woke up to what he'd lost, he came back red-eyed and desperate: " I was wrong. Can we start over? I can't live without you."
Erwin simply tilted his head and kissed her — eyes cutting straight to Levi's ashen face:
"I don't think you understand. The moment you let her go, she became my wife."
Chapter 1
Natalie's POV
I gripped the steering wheel, with Levi's urgently needed Luxembourg project files sitting on the passenger seat.
My phone suddenly rang - an unknown number.
I answered, and before I could say anything, I heard intimate sounds and heavy breathing.
"Natalie can't satisfy you at all, right? That's why you agreed to do this with me." It was a young girl's voice.
The man's voice was low and cold: "Her? I got tired of her ages ago. You're the one who matters."
I unconsciously tightened my grip on the phone.
That voice - it was Levi! My husband!
Hearing Levi say this, the girl giggled, her voice full of triumphant joy. "So when you two divorce, will you marry me, honey?"
"Baby, of course you'll be my only wife."
My heart seized with sharp pain. I hung up abruptly, my vision blurring for a moment.
Then I saw it - a familiar black Bentley parked by the roadside.
It was Levi's car. The body was violently shaking, as if mocking my eight years of stupidity.
Once upon a time, Levi and I were deeply in love, even though Levi's mother never hid her disgust for me.
She used every method to make my life miserable. At family dinners, she deliberately had servants serve me cold food, and said in front of many people that I wasn't good enough for Levi.
But back then, Levi always protected me. Eight years ago, despite his mother's countless objections, he insisted on marrying me.
I'll never forget the day before the wedding, when Levi's mother called me to the study.
She sneered and said: "Natalie, you think you've won? Nothing in this world lasts forever. He's just still riding the novelty. When he gets tired of you, you'll be the first one thrown away."
Then Levi burst in. He held my hand, looked firmly into my eyes, and made me a promise: "Baby, you're my only wife. Forever."
Now, those same words were being said to another woman.
I once naively thought Levi was different. Now it seems there really is no forever.
He could freely entangle himself with other women, enjoying the thrill that comes from betraying a marriage.
I lost, and I'm completely done.
A week ago, Levi's mother came to see me again. She handed me divorce papers.
"Just get Levi to sign this, keep your marriage secret forever, and I'll give you one billion dollars as compensation."
I thought I'd never use those papers.
Now, I took them out.
At this moment, the Bentley's rhythmic rocking made my stomach churn.
Fuck staying quiet and taking it.
I grabbed my phone and sent a message to Levi's high-and-mighty mother: "Get my billion ready."
The instant the message sent, I floored the gas pedal.
The white Maserati shot forward like a vengeful bullet, straight toward that violently shaking black Bentley!
"BANG—!"
A huge crash rang out, the sound of twisting metal nearly piercing my eardrums.
I clearly saw that woman jerk backward from the force, falling awkwardly onto the back seat.
I sat in my car quietly enjoying this farce for a few seconds. This scene was so ugly it was almost funny.
Then I slipped the divorce papers in the middle of the stack of documents, took a deep breath, and got out of the car.
I rushed to his car and pounded on the window.
"Bang! Bang! Bang!"
The window slowly rolled down a crack, and Levi's face, filled with rage, appeared behind it.
Obviously, he didn't want me to clearly see what was happening inside.
"Natalie? Are you fucking crazy!" he snarled at me.
I made my voice sound urgent, "The Luxembourg project! Their lawyers are upstairs right now, and they're saying if you don't sign immediately, they're leaving!"
I shoved the documents through the window.
His handsome face was written all over with impatience. He clearly wanted to deal with the mess in his car first, but my words made it impossible for him to ignore, because the Luxembourg project was crucial to him.
He snatched the documents, too lazy to even look. He just flipped to where he needed to sign and scrawled his name.
Then he roughly shoved everything back, including the divorce papers.
"Handle it! Now get lost!"
"Okay." I quit while I was ahead, turned elegantly, without a moment's hesitation.
After all, I had more important things to do.
My phone buzzed - a message from Levi's mother, still arrogant as ever: "I want to see my son's signature with my own eyes."
I sneered, snapped a photo of Levi's signature on the papers, and sent it.
"Now, as you wished. You know my account information."
Now I just wanted to get away from Levi and reclaim the only thing I had of value - my dignity.
I went home and started packing. I realized that in this villa, nothing really belonged to me.
I was throwing the last few things into my suitcase when Levi pushed open the bedroom door and walked in.
He moved close to me as if nothing had happened, his lips kissing my neck, his hands reaching into my clothes.
Thinking about what I'd seen that afternoon, I felt a wave of nausea, so I shoved him away hard, with all my strength.
Levi was enraged by my action, "Natalie? What are you doing?"
He dared to ask me?! I widened my eyes, flames burning in my veins, "Who was that woman in your car this afternoon?"
Levi looked very impatient: "That was just Lillian, my business partner's daughter! She just got back from abroad and needs my care. Natalie, don't be so emotional."
I laughed coldly inside. Care? You mean what they were doing in that car?
I heard it crystal clear through the phone. I saw how violently that Bentley was shaking.
I was certain now. My heart was completely dead.
I had to get away from him as soon as possible. I took a deep breath, "Levi, I want a divorce."
"Divorce?" His handsome face twisted with rage. "Natalie, say that again?"
I didn't even blink, "I said, I want a divorce."
He suddenly let out a short, contemptuous laugh, then moved closer to me, "Who gave you the nerve? You come from nothing. Everything you have now, I gave you! Without me, you're nothing!"
He grabbed my chin, forcing me to look up at him.
Those deep eyes I once lost myself in now held only cold control. "I'm telling you, impossible!"
Each of his words was like a poisoned needle, stabbing into my heart.
It hurt. An intense pain, as if countless ants were gnawing at my bones.
Damn it.
He was so sure I couldn't leave him. But he didn't know - I'd already pulled off a pretty clever trick.
I'd already gotten him to sign the divorce papers.
A surge of vengeful satisfaction coursed through me like electricity, and the corner of my mouth curled into a cold, mocking smile I couldn't control.

I hate girls like her.
Entitled.
Delicate.
And still—
Still.
The image of her standing in the doorway, clutching her cardigan tighter around her narrow shoulders, trying to smile through the awkwardness, won’t leave me.
Neither does the memory of Tyler. Leaving her here without a second thought.
I shouldn’t care.
I don’t care.
It’s not my problem if Tyler’s an idiot.
It’s not my business if some spoiled little princess has to walk home in the dark.

How Not To Fall For A Dragon
Which is why it was more than a little confusing when a letter arrived with my name already printed on a schedule, a dorm waiting, and classes picked out as if someone knew me better than I knew myself. Everyone knows the Academy, it’s where witches sharpen their spells, shifters master their forms, and every kind of magical creature learns to control their gifts.
Everyone except me.
I don’t even know what I am. No shifting, no magic tricks, nothing. Just a girl surrounded by people who can fly, conjure fire, or heal with a touch. So I sit through classes pretending I belong, and I listen hard for any clue that might tell me what’s hidden in my blood.
The only person more curious than me is Blake Nyvas, tall, golden-eyed, and very much a Dragon. People whisper that he’s dangerous, warn me to keep my distance. But Blake seems determined to solve the mystery of me, and somehow I trust him more than anyone else.
Maybe it’s reckless. Maybe it’s dangerous.
But when everyone else looks at me like I don’t belong, Blake looks at me like I’m a riddle worth solving.
Alpha Nicholas's Little Mate
What? No—wait… oh Moon Goddess, no.
Please tell me you're joking, Lex.
But she's not. I can feel her excitement bubbling under my skin, while all I feel is dread.
We turn the corner, and the scent hits me like a punch to the chest—cinnamon and something impossibly warm. My eyes scan the room until they land on him. Tall. Commanding. Beautiful.
And then, just as quickly… he sees me.
His expression twists.
"Fuck no."
He turns—and runs.
My mate sees me and runs.

Falling For The Biker: The Vice President's Girl
His eyes darken, flicking to my mouth.
"It's wrong. Your brother would slit my throat for just standing this close. But tell me, little bird" his breath ghosts my skin, "are you trembling because you hate me… or because you've wanted this just as much as I have?"
Wren thought she'd buried the chaos of New Orleans for good—the clubs, the blood-soaked loyalties, the men who lived and died by their kuttes. Seattle gave her everything she ever wanted: freedom, love, a future.
But one betrayal shatters it all.
Dragged home by tragedy, Wren finds herself under the watchful eye of Ezra Jax—the Raven Reapers MC's vice president and her brother's best friend. He's infuriating, dangerous, and far too tempting for a man she should never touch.
And the deeper Wren is pulled back into his world, the more she realizes nothing about her past—or about Ezra—is what she believed.
In the chaos of gang wars, mounting debts, and old betrayals, he becomes the one constant. The more she fights him, the harder she falls. And the more he pushes her away, the more lethal his pull becomes.
Because in this world, love isn't sweet.
It's brutal. Bloody.
And it's bound to break them both.
When loyalty is everything and love can cost your life, will Wren risk her heart on the one man she was never meant to love?

The mafia princess return
The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."
New to the world of shifters, Draven is human on the run. A beautiful girl who no one could protect. Domonic is the cold Alpha of the Red Wolf Pack. A brotherhood of twelve wolves that live by twelve rules. Rules which they vowed could NEVER be broken.

But she doesn’t know about the child she’s carrying or that the moment she left, Domonic decided rules were made to be broken - and now will he ever find her again? Will she forgive him?
Let Them Kneel
Cast out by her pack. Forgotten by the Lycans.
She lived among humans—quiet, invisible, tucked away in a town no one looked at twice.
But when her first heat comes without warning, everything changes.
Her body ignites. Her instincts scream. And something primal stirs beneath her skin—
summoning a big, bad Alpha who knows exactly how to quench her fire.
When he claims her, it’s ecstasy and ruin.
For the first time, she believes she’s been accepted.
Seen.
Chosen.
Until he leaves her the next morning—
like a secret never to be spoken.
But Kaelani is not what they thought.
Not wolfless. Not weak.
There is something ancient inside her. Something powerful. And it’s waking.
And when it does—
they’ll all remember the girl they tried to erase.
Especially him.
She’ll be the dream he keeps chasing… the one thing that ever made him feel alive.
Because secrets never stay buried.
And neither do dreams.
The Human Among Wolves
My stomach twisted, but he wasn’t finished.
"You're just a pathetic little human," Zayn said, his words deliberate, each one hitting like a slap. "Spreading your legs for the first guy who bothers to notice you."
Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
I was so, so stupid.
