Chapter 1
Prologue
"I want divorce, since she is back, there is no reason to continue the contract anymore." He said without any emotions in his eyes, she looked at the man standing in front of her, staring icily at her. The only man she ever loved.
She wanted to laugh because the only woman he ever cared for is back. Sasha Carter, she claimed to be pregnant with his baby and that is why he doesn't need her again in her life because he thinks his family is complete now. And that is why he is clearing trash out of his life as he considered her trash throughout their years of marriage.
She hid her pregnancy ultrasound report in her handbag, glanced at the paper in his hand and extended her hand looking straight into his eyes. She snatched the divorce paper from him and turned around towards the table, she picked up the pen and signed the papers without saying a single word to him. This was what he deserves or what she thought he deserved. Nathan Kelvin, the man who was responsible for every misery she faced in her life.
The man looked at her, completely shocked, he felt something broken inside him. She didn't even hesitate for a second before singing the divorce papers. She handed him the paper and stared directly into his eyes.
"I Yvonne Beckett is no longer committed to you, Mr. Nathan Kelvin. Our marriage is over as of today and onwards. Enjoy your life with the one you love and I hope we never meet again." She said as harshly as she could and turned towards the door, trying to control her own emotions but still a lone tear left her eye. Her hurt was visible in her eyes when she exited the study room.
Nathan stood there motionless, unable to recognize his own state and emotions. He stared at the paper blankly. She left just like that.
Will they ever meet again? Let fate decide..

Yvonne
***Six years later
"Do you think the office is your home, Miss Beckett?" I heard Mr. Hamilton's clipped tone.
"Sorry sir." I apologized.
What did I do wrong this time? As far as I remembered, I was just admiring the flowers sent by Samuel who was reminding me about tonight's dinner and I was about to leave the office when I received the flowers.
"I asked you to prepare an analysis report on Ibeto's company and here you are sitting as if you were at home enjoying yourself." He said, glaring at me.
"But sir, I…" I tried to explain but he continued to glare at me, his gaze fixed on the flowers in my hand.
"And get rid of those flowers, they are annoying." He said and I immediately hid the flowers under the table.
My bad, I forget that he hated flowers, anything girls to be exact.
"I apologize sir…I attempted to explain before he interrupted me once again.
"Miss Beckett, you know the office rules. If you can't perform your job properly, then feel free to leave. I didn't receive the other two company reports I asked you to prepare earlier." He said, taking a breath as if he was trying to control his anger.
"Tell me, Miss Beckett, do you really value your job?" He asked, his tone filled with anger, I stood up from my seat and responded politely.
"Sir, the analysis report on Ibeto's company that you asked for is on your table, I had informed you about it but you instructed me to place it on your desk before you left for lunch. And as for the other two companies, they are also on the table."
Alexander Hamilton is the president of Hamilton Group of industries and my boss. He glared at me with his emotionless hazel eyes.
"And what about today's meeting? I want you to provide me with a report on the products we have discussed today."
What is the problem with this man? Why is he attacking me this afternoon even when I requested to leave work early today so that I can spend time with my son?
"I have emailed you the meeting notes, sir and I have provided elaborations on the ideas and their potential impact on the market for your review." I responded professionally.
"Why do you send an email? You should know by now that I don't like staring at the screen for too long, Miss Beckett." He said, his gaze focusing on those flowers as if they were irritating him. Why is getting so worked up just because of mere flowers on my desk?
"Sir, you were the one that asked me to send you the meeting notes and short reports about weekly activities via email. You said you preferred reviewing them that way and found it tiring to go through printed files." I replied, smiling politely at him.
He looked at me speechless, he knew I was right. He had asked me to send him an email and not a printed file. What is wrong with this man? How could he forget so soon?
"What about my schedule for today?" He asked again in his usual tone, trying to hide the annoyance in his gut.
I read out his today's schedule to him today, all the meetings he had to attend and including his dinner with one Ms, Sophia. He nodded and loosened his expression before speaking again.
"Okay, let's go then." He looked at his watch then back to me.
"Ummm, sir, I had requested a half-day leave today and you already approved it so Mr. Kanye will be joining you for the rest of the day." I reminded him in a polite way, he nodded his head before entering his office.
"See you on Monday," I said right before he could close the door.
I quickly gathered my things and exited the office and went straight to my car. I am super excited today, it has been a while since I spent time with my family and I will be with my prince for the whole day. Then suddenly, my phone buzzed, I looked at the screen and a smile immediately appeared on my lips.
"How is my prince doing today?" I asked gently, I missed him so much.
"I am fine, mother. I am with uncle Samuel. When will you come? I miss you." He responded in his adorable childish voice, I could imagine his pout while saying that.
"Yes, champ I miss you even more. Mother is on her way home and I will be there soon." I said, hearing his happy giggles as he spoke.
"Uncle Samuel, mother is on her way, we will spend the whole weekend together."
I smiled, it had been a pity that I was so busy dealing with recent problems in the company and had to follow Mr. Hamilton around for a whole week to resolve the issues. I couldn't even give much time to my son and now that everything was in place, I just wanted to be with him.
Well, that is how it was working at Hamilton Group of industries. It was hectic but in the past six years, I had gotten used to it. My boss, Alexander Hamilton is a ruthless businessman,a perfectionist who didn't know the meaning of defeat. Although he was ruthless but I knew he was a good man, I recalled how I met him six years ago when I was looking for a job to distract myself from the haunting memories of the past and the trauma my divorce caused me.
Six years ago
"Hey, my prince. You are my sunshine." I said, looking at my beautiful baby in my arms, the most precious treasure of mine. He yawned and opened his ocean blue eyes, staring at me before a beautiful smile appeared on his lips.
I had never believed in love at first sight until that very moment when my son came into the world. I promised myself to protect him from any harm in this world and cherish him forever.
"He is his father's mini-version." Samuel said beside me before abruptly stopping, realizing what he had just said.
"I am sorry." He apologized immediately.
"It is true though." I replied with a small sad smile.
No matter how much I tried to forget that man, I couldn't especially when I looked at my son who was a spitting image of the man I loathed.
"What do you plan on doing now?" Samuel cautiously asked.
"I won't go back, I want to start afresh." I said, looking at my parents and grandpa who were there in the hospital with me.
"It will happen as you wish, my Munchoko." My father, Vincent Beckett said with finality in his voice. I looked at him with teary eyes as he came to me, pulling me and my son into his arms and kissing the top of my head.
My mother also joined us with teary eyes, my family was completed. I didn't need anything else, I just wanted to spend my life peacefully with the people I love.

The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

The War God Alpha's Arranged Bride
Yet Alexander made his decision clear to the world: “Evelyn is the only woman I will ever marry.”
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
The Biker's Fate
I squeezed my eyes shut.
"Dani," he pressed. "Do you get me?"
"No, Austin, I don't," I admitted as I pulled my robe closed again and sat up. "You confuse me."
He dragged his hands down his face. "Tell me what's on your mind."
I sighed. "You're everything my parents warned me against. You're secretive, but you're also honest. I feel wholly protected by you, but then you scare me more than anyone I've ever known. You're a bad boy, but when I dated a so-called good one, he turned out to be the devil, so, yeah, I don't get you because you're not what I expected. You drive me crazier than anyone I've ever met, but then you make me feel complete. I'm feeling things I don't quite know how to process and that makes me want to run. I don't want to give up something that might be really, really good, but I also don't want to be stupid and fall for a boy just because he's super pretty and makes me come."
Danielle Harris is the daughter of an overprotective police chief and has led a sheltered life. As a kindergarten teacher, she's as far removed from the world of Harleys and bikers as you could get, but when she's rescued by the sexy and dangerous Austin Carver, her life is changed forever.
Although Austin 'Booker' Carver is enamored by the innocent Dani, he tries to keep the police chief's daughter at arm's length. But when a threat is made from an unexpected source, he finds himself falling hard and fast for the only woman who can tame his wild heart.
Will Booker be able to find the source of the threat before it's too late?
Will Dani finally give her heart to a man who's everything she's been warned about?
The Biker Alpha Who Became My Second Chance Mate
"You're like a sister to me."
Those were the actual words that broke the camel's back.
Not after what just happened. Not after the hot, breathless, soul-shaking night we spent tangled in each other's arms.
I knew from the beginning that Tristan Hayes was a line I shouldn't cross.
He wasn't just anyone, he was my brother's best friend. The man I spent years secretly wanting.
But that night... we were broken. We had just buried our parents. And the grief was too heavy, too real...so I begged him to touch me.
To make me forget. To fill the silence that death left behind.
And he did. He held me like I was something fragile.
Kissed me like I was the only thing he needed to breathe.
Then left me bleeding with six words that burned deeper than rejection ever could.
So, I ran. Away from everything that cost me pain.
Now, five years later, I'm back.
Fresh from rejecting the mate who abused me. Still carrying the scars of a pup I never got to hold.
And the man waiting for me at the airport isn't my brother.
It's Tristan.
And he's not the guy I left behind.
He's a biker.
An Alpha.
And when he looked at me, I knew there was no where else to run to.
