Vivian · Completed · 95.5k Words
Introduction
His hands gripped my waist. His breath burned against my neck.
“Who is the man?”
I tried to push him away. He only pulled me closer.
“Can he make you feel this good?”
Three years of marriage. I thought I could warm his cold heart.
Then his ex came back. And I became the villain.
He forced me to apologize to her. Never once questioned her lies.
So I signed the papers and walked out.
Now? I’m successful. Beautiful. The one he can’t have.
He kneels in front of me with a diamond ring.
“Let’s remarry.”
I smile—and turn to the man who saved me when I was a child.
He’s been waiting for years.
Let my ex kneel there forever.
Chapter 1
"Elisa, do you know what you're doing?"
Her husband, Louis York, was breathing heavily. Elisa Roberts, completely naked, straddled him, leaning down to kiss his lips.
She could clearly feel his body's reaction - his hard penis pressing against her inner thigh.
Three years of marriage, and Louis had never touched her.
Pathetically, she needed drugs to get even this much contact from him.
At least he could respond to her. That had to count for something—no matter how pathetic it felt.
“Honey,” she murmured softly, her tone laced with provocation, “why are you acting so restrained tonight?”
Louis’s jaw tightened.
Louis growled and flipped her onto her back beneath him.
"I guess you asked for this."
His large hands kneaded her breasts as his knee pushed her legs apart, and he thrust his thick penis hard into her vagina.
Elisa gasped in pain.
“Relax,” Louis muttered, though his own voice was rough.
Louis's movements gradually became steady, his breathing growing heavier in the dim room.
Elisa tried to relax, but her body's tension came more from her mind than her muscles.
She thought, this was their first time having sex - and probably their last.
"Oh, God..."
After what felt like forever, Louis's thrusts became more urgent, then he let out a low growl and finally collapsed heavily on top of her.
The room fell silent except for their breathing.
Elisa's heart was racing. She turned and hugged him tightly.
Louis lit a cigarette and took a deep drag. White smoke blurred his handsome features.
“Why tonight?” he asked.
For a moment, she thought about saying nothing.
"Because I'm leaving."
Louis froze, his blue eyes staring at her. "Why?"
"No reason."
“That’s not an answer.”
"Because I'm tired of this."
She pushed herself up, pulling the blanket around her.
"I've already prepared the papers. You just need to sign."
Louis stared at her as if seeing her for the first time.
This was his wife, the woman he'd been married to for three years.
He felt like he'd never really known her.
The cigarette burned low between his fingers before he spoke again.
"You're sure about this?"
"Yes."
Louis was silent for a few seconds, then said, "Okay, I respect your decision."
Just like that. No hesitation. No resistance. And somehow, that hurt more than anything else.
Last night, she'd received some text messages.
From his half-sister, Angelina Roberts.
[Elisa, Louis took me dancing today. He really has great taste.]
He said I’d love the desserts here. He remembers everything I like.
Oh—wasn’t today your anniversary? Sorry, I borrowed him again. You don’t mind, right?
Angelina, the woman Louis had always loved.
Their marriage had never been about love.
It was a transaction. An arrangement between families.
But marrying Louis had been Elisa's biggest dream since childhood.
It's just that in these three years, Louis had come home for dinner less than 30 times.
He never remembered their anniversary, never remembered her birthday, never remembered anything about her. She used to think that during these years, while Angelina was away from the family, She had once believed effort could change things.
But it had all been wishful thinking.
Now Angelina was back, so it was time for her to go.
Still… she hadn’t been able to leave quietly.. So at dinner earlier, she'd drugged Louis. A final, desperate attempt to hold onto something that had never really been hers.
Elisa greedily studied his handsome face.
Blue eyes, deep-set features, strong and defined bone structure.
Looking at him still made her heart race.
Her throat tightened. Still naked, she took a folder from the closet and tossed it beside Louis.
"This is the divorce agreement. I've already signed it. The property division is clear."
She turned toward the bathroom. "I'm going to shower. I hope by the time I come out, you'll have signed it."
Louis stared at her back and gave a self-mocking laugh.
Hot water poured over her, but it didn’t help. Nothing did. Not the heat. Not the silence. Not even the numbness she tried so hard to cling to. Her shoulders began to shake.
Finally, she couldn't hold back anymore and broke down crying.
She'd loved Louis for fifteen years.
Letting go felt like ripping something out of her chest.
She cried for a long time, until she could barely stand.
Only when the water started turning cold did she put on clean pajamas and walk out of the bathroom.
The papers were still there.
Unsigned.
Her voice came out steadier than she expected.
“Why didn’t you sign?”
Louis didn't answer. He got out of bed and walked over - six foot three of height, broad shoulders and firm muscles, radiating pure masculinity, his steps carrying an aristocratic elegance.
gently took the hairdryer from her hand.
"Sit down. Let me dry your hair."
His voice was so gentle, so gentle it made Elisa's heart ache inexplicably.
She sat on the edge of the bed. Louis stood behind her, Warm air flowed through her damp hair as he stood behind her.
For a moment, it felt almost normal.
Like they were just another couple.
But Elisa knew better than anyone - he wasn't an ordinary husband, and she wasn't a lucky wife.
"Can you wait?" Louis's voice was almost inaudible over the hairdryer's hum.
“For what?”
"Next month is my father's birthday party. I hope you'll still attend as my wife."
Elisa frowned faintly.
The divorce involved both families - Things couldn’t end abruptly.
It was only one more month anyway.
“…Fine,” she said at last. “But I’m moving out.”
Louis's grip on the hairdryer tightened. "Are you in that much of a hurry?"
Elisa smiled bitterly.
It wasn't that she was in a hurry - Angelina was in a hurry. Living together when they were definitely getting divorced would be a disaster for her.
Besides, she was afraid that staying one more day would make her change her mind, afraid she'd end up on her knees begging him not to leave, even though he'd never really been hers.
Silence settled between them again.
After a while, her hair was dry.
Elisa had her back to Louis, not knowing what expression was on his face.
"Three years ago, when the York family was about to go bankrupt, my father forced your family to honor the marriage agreement. Back then, did you marry me willingly?"
"I guess so."
"Thank you for these three years. Taking care of the house - that must have been hard."
Elisa didn't respond.
After a long silence, Louis suddenly asked:
"Are you suddenly asking for a divorce because he came back?"
Elisa froze. "What?"
"Stephen Shaw." Louis's hand still rested on her hair, his voice low. "Did he make you decide to leave?"
At that name, Elisa's eyelashes trembled.
Old memories surfaced instantly.
She bit her lip hard, forcing the tears back.
Then she heard Louis say, "Is he really that important to you?"

Why does being near him make my skin feel too tight, like I’m wearing a sweater two sizes too small?

**
I hate girls like her.
Entitled.
Delicate.
And still—
Still.
The image of her standing in the doorway, clutching her cardigan tighter around her narrow shoulders, trying to smile through the awkwardness, won’t leave me.
Neither does the memory of Tyler. Leaving her here without a second thought.
I shouldn’t care.
I don’t care.
It’s not my problem if Tyler’s an idiot.
It’s not my business if some spoiled little princess has to walk home in the dark.
I’m not here to rescue anyone.
Especially not her.
Especially not someone like her.
She’s not my problem.
And I’ll make damn sure she never becomes one.
But when my eyes fell on her lips, I wanted her to be mine.
Alpha Nicholas's Little Mate
What? No—wait… oh Moon Goddess, no.
Please tell me you're joking, Lex.
But she's not. I can feel her excitement bubbling under my skin, while all I feel is dread.
We turn the corner, and the scent hits me like a punch to the chest—cinnamon and something impossibly warm. My eyes scan the room until they land on him. Tall. Commanding. Beautiful.
And then, just as quickly… he sees me.
His expression twists.
"Fuck no."
He turns—and runs.
My mate sees me and runs.

How Not To Fall For A Dragon
Which is why it was more than a little confusing when a letter arrived with my name already printed on a schedule, a dorm waiting, and classes picked out as if someone knew me better than I knew myself. Everyone knows the Academy, it’s where witches sharpen their spells, shifters master their forms, and every kind of magical creature learns to control their gifts.
Everyone except me.
I don’t even know what I am. No shifting, no magic tricks, nothing. Just a girl surrounded by people who can fly, conjure fire, or heal with a touch. So I sit through classes pretending I belong, and I listen hard for any clue that might tell me what’s hidden in my blood.
The only person more curious than me is Blake Nyvas, tall, golden-eyed, and very much a Dragon. People whisper that he’s dangerous, warn me to keep my distance. But Blake seems determined to solve the mystery of me, and somehow I trust him more than anyone else.
Maybe it’s reckless. Maybe it’s dangerous.
But when everyone else looks at me like I don’t belong, Blake looks at me like I’m a riddle worth solving.
Goddess Of The Underworld

Peace lasts exactly one lullaby. This is the story of an orphan pup who became a goddess by choosing her family; of four imperfect alphas learning how to be better. Steamy, fierce, and full of heart, Goddess of the Underworld is a reverse harem, found-family paranormal romance where love writes the rules and keeps three realms from falling apart.
A pack of their own
The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."
New to the world of shifters, Draven is human on the run. A beautiful girl who no one could protect. Domonic is the cold Alpha of the Red Wolf Pack. A brotherhood of twelve wolves that live by twelve rules. Rules which they vowed could NEVER be broken.
Especially - Rule Number One - No Mates
When Draven meets Domonic, he knows that she is his mate, but Draven has no idea what a mate is, only that she has fallen in love with a shifter. An Alpha that will break her heart to make her leave. Promising herself, she will never forgive him, she disappears.
But she doesn’t know about the child she’s carrying or that the moment she left, Domonic decided rules were made to be broken - and now will he ever find her again? Will she forgive him?
The Human Among Wolves
My stomach twisted, but he wasn’t finished.
"You're just a pathetic little human," Zayn said, his words deliberate, each one hitting like a slap. "Spreading your legs for the first guy who bothers to notice you."
Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
I was so, so stupid.

Let Them Kneel
Cast out by her pack. Forgotten by the Lycans.
She lived among humans—quiet, invisible, tucked away in a town no one looked at twice.
But when her first heat comes without warning, everything changes.
Her body ignites. Her instincts scream. And something primal stirs beneath her skin—
summoning a big, bad Alpha who knows exactly how to quench her fire.
When he claims her, it’s ecstasy and ruin.
For the first time, she believes she’s been accepted.
Seen.
Chosen.
Until he leaves her the next morning—
like a secret never to be spoken.

Not wolfless. Not weak.
There is something ancient inside her. Something powerful. And it’s waking.
And when it does—
they’ll all remember the girl they tried to erase.
Especially him.
She’ll be the dream he keeps chasing… the one thing that ever made him feel alive.
Because secrets never stay buried.
And neither do dreams.
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
Invisible To Her Bully
Falling For The Biker: The Vice President's Girl
His eyes darken, flicking to my mouth.
"It's wrong. Your brother would slit my throat for just standing this close. But tell me, little bird" his breath ghosts my skin, "are you trembling because you hate me… or because you've wanted this just as much as I have?"
Wren thought she'd buried the chaos of New Orleans for good—the clubs, the blood-soaked loyalties, the men who lived and died by their kuttes. Seattle gave her everything she ever wanted: freedom, love, a future.
But one betrayal shatters it all.
Dragged home by tragedy, Wren finds herself under the watchful eye of Ezra Jax—the Raven Reapers MC's vice president and her brother's best friend. He's infuriating, dangerous, and far too tempting for a man she should never touch.
And the deeper Wren is pulled back into his world, the more she realizes nothing about her past—or about Ezra—is what she believed.
In the chaos of gang wars, mounting debts, and old betrayals, he becomes the one constant. The more she fights him, the harder she falls. And the more he pushes her away, the more lethal his pull becomes.
Because in this world, love isn't sweet.
It's brutal. Bloody.
And it's bound to break them both.
When loyalty is everything and love can cost your life, will Wren risk her heart on the one man she was never meant to love?
