Introduction
"He was the one who asked me a question, and I did not touch him." I tell her, although I know she is not going to listen to a word I am saying.
"I saw you! You had your slutty paws all over him, and would have gladly fucked him if he asked." I almost gagged. I would never touch someone who can find her attractive with a poker if I didn't have to.
"You're as delusional as ever, Jenna," I tell her, and she growls.
"You are a fucking disgusting adopted little slut, and I will make sure the pack sees you for who you really are!" She says, a sinister smirk appearing on her ugly over makeup covered face.
Dread, cold, and fearsome run down my spine. What the actual fuck is she going to do to me they haven't done already?
Selena was adopted as a baby to the Darkwoods, a family within the Winter Mountain Pack. She is hated by her adopted family as she was thrusted upon them by the Alpha and Luna because they were the ones to find her, and pack law states 'Finders Keepers'. Hated, beaten, and degraded daily, she's held together only by the hope of escape- unaware that her adopted sister Jenna's jealousy burns hot enough to get her banished... or killed.
What happens when Selena finds out her heritage is very special and her biological family is actually alive and very much wants her in their lives, while she has found her mate in the Alpha heir and finally feels like she belongs somewhere?
Chapter 1
Selena POV
The night is damp and cold, as my sister, Jenna and her bitch brigade drags me through our front yard and to the treeline near our house. They grabbed me just as I was about to go inside after coming home from work. The sky is clouded and the promise of snow is imminent, but tonight it feels more like it'll rain soon. Our pack, the Winter Mountain Pack is located in the far North Region and is the strongest pack up here in our Region ranking number one.
Jenna is my half sister, as I am her adoptive little sister. Something she never forgave our parents apparently. They of course keep telling her that they were forced to adopt me by the Alpha of our pack because they were the ones to fall upon my infant self when they were attending a pack event. The Alpha was there, along with some of the Elders of the Werewolf Council, so there was not much my parents could do. Try to drown me before anyone saw perhaps, which my dear mother has told me time and time again she should have done. Then she would have been rid of me instead of having to feed and clothe me. I made the mistake of pointing out they do neither unless absolutely necessary, and I was locked in the basement for the rest of the holiday- starving, being beaten by all of them, and alone in the dark.
Jenna just turned 17, and I am turning 15 in a week, which I am trying to keep on the down low. I don't need any unnecessary attention to myself from them, as if tonight is any indication, I may not live to see my 15th birthday. Jenna is a raging psycho, validated and urged on by our parents in her demented ways.
"You thought I wouldn't notice your slutty paws on my boyfriend, huh, sis?" She asks me, as they drag me further into the forest. I roll my eyes. Seriously this bitch needs to get a hobby that does not include stalking, berating, and torturing me. Quite literally, unfortunately.
"He was the one who asked me a question, and I did not touch him." I tell her, although I know she is not going to listen to a word I am saying. She sneers.
"I saw you! You had your slutty paws all over him, and would have gladly fucked him if he asked." I almost gagged. I would never touch someone who can find her attractive with a poker if I didn't have to.
"You're as delusional as ever, Jenna," I tell her, and she growls, smacking me so I fall over as her friends let me go. They laugh at the harsh way I land, calling me all the names in the book.
Two of her friends grab me again, and as they are of age, they have their wolves and the strength of them, so there is no point in me trying to break free. I follow, tumbling and falling as they harshly drag me to the place they have in mind.
My name is Selena and as I stated I was adopted, although not by choice from them or me, as a baby. My parents never wanted me, and they never let me forget it, but the pack laws are absolute even to the point where the Alpha and Luna couldn't do anything- finders keepers. You should think a pup found by people who don't want it would go to an orphanage, but no. Those who bring the pup to the Alpha are obligated to bring it into their house and family, as my parents were the ones to find me on a pack outing, and they couldn't deny it when the Alpha was present at said outing, along with Elders of the Werewolf Council, therefore having to bring me into their home.
I became their and Jenna's punching bag. The one who was always being beaten if something went wrong, or if they just felt like it. The scars from their abuse cover almost all of my body, except the face, which is why I prefer to wear baggy clothes and hoodies, even in the summertime. Fortunately, we live in the far North, so it'll not be too warm in the summer.
"You have to know your place, Selena." My mother used to tell me when I would ask why with tears down my cheeks. "You are just some lowly little orphan wolf who no one wanted. We are bringing you up in our house, giving you clothes to wear and food to eat. You need to learn to stop being such an ungrateful wretch." I learned the hard way that questions, achievements at school, and making friends made my home life even more miserable, as they would punish me for 'trying to outshine my brilliant sister'.
Jenna made sure no one wanted to be my friend at school, bullying anyone who got remotely friendly towards me. I kept my head down, and learned all I could while hiding it from my parents and sister. My teachers stopped writing home after I asked them to just give me the letters. As they knew my parents didn't give a shit about me, they agreed and I was able to make sure they never reached Tobias and Janice- my parents. I even hid how far I ventured in training. Alpha offered me to train with him and his Elite Warriors, which I accepted with gratitude. I have been training with them for the last two years, and I am way ahead of my fellow peers - I'm even ahead of those who are older than me- shocking Alpha and his best trainers.
"Wakey, wakey, little slut." Someone says, slapping me across the face. I hadn't realized we had come to a halt in a clearing. I look up to see Jenna's face just in front of me. "Hold her mouth open." She orders her cronies, and they do as she says. My eyes widen as she pours some sickly green liquid into my throat. They slam my jaws shut, refusing to let me go before everything is swallowed. Then they all step back, and I just crumble to my knees, panting.
"This should teach you your lesson to never mess with me, sister dear," Jenna says while cackling madly. A fiery pain shoots through my entire body, I scream with tears running down my cheeks. I slam my eyes shut, falling to my side in pain. The pain keeps coming in waves, while it feels like my head is about to be split open from the inside out. I scream again, but this time it comes out in a long agonizing howl. Jenna cackles again, saying something I can't hear. I open my eyes to see paws beneath me, and one of her of age friends calls forth claws. She slashes Jenna three times, making my sister fall to the ground in tears. Then her eyes cloud over, and I know what she is doing. I get to my feet, wobbling a bit as it's foreign to me to be on all fours.
"Don't let her leave." Jenna hiss, and her friends trap me in a circle. I'm trapped and scared.
'What did she do to us?' A cool voice asks in my head. 'Why am I trapped? What happened?' I close my wolf eyes. I can hear paws on the ground nearing us.
'Who are you?'

Why does being near him make my skin feel too tight, like I’m wearing a sweater two sizes too small?

**
I hate girls like her.
Entitled.
Delicate.
And still—
Still.
The image of her standing in the doorway, clutching her cardigan tighter around her narrow shoulders, trying to smile through the awkwardness, won’t leave me.
Neither does the memory of Tyler. Leaving her here without a second thought.
I shouldn’t care.
I don’t care.
It’s not my problem if Tyler’s an idiot.
It’s not my business if some spoiled little princess has to walk home in the dark.
I’m not here to rescue anyone.
Especially not her.
Especially not someone like her.
She’s not my problem.
And I’ll make damn sure she never becomes one.
But when my eyes fell on her lips, I wanted her to be mine.
Alpha Nicholas's Little Mate
What? No—wait… oh Moon Goddess, no.
Please tell me you're joking, Lex.
But she's not. I can feel her excitement bubbling under my skin, while all I feel is dread.
We turn the corner, and the scent hits me like a punch to the chest—cinnamon and something impossibly warm. My eyes scan the room until they land on him. Tall. Commanding. Beautiful.
And then, just as quickly… he sees me.
His expression twists.
"Fuck no."
He turns—and runs.
My mate sees me and runs.

Once they are brought to him he finds himself once again facing his mate and discovers that she's hiding secrets that will make him want to kill more than one person.

How Not To Fall For A Dragon
Which is why it was more than a little confusing when a letter arrived with my name already printed on a schedule, a dorm waiting, and classes picked out as if someone knew me better than I knew myself. Everyone knows the Academy, it’s where witches sharpen their spells, shifters master their forms, and every kind of magical creature learns to control their gifts.
Everyone except me.
I don’t even know what I am. No shifting, no magic tricks, nothing. Just a girl surrounded by people who can fly, conjure fire, or heal with a touch. So I sit through classes pretending I belong, and I listen hard for any clue that might tell me what’s hidden in my blood.
The only person more curious than me is Blake Nyvas, tall, golden-eyed, and very much a Dragon. People whisper that he’s dangerous, warn me to keep my distance. But Blake seems determined to solve the mystery of me, and somehow I trust him more than anyone else.
Maybe it’s reckless. Maybe it’s dangerous.
But when everyone else looks at me like I don’t belong, Blake looks at me like I’m a riddle worth solving.
Goddess Of The Underworld
When the veil between the Divine, the Living, and the Dead begins to crack, Envy is thrust beneath with a job she can’t drop: keep the worlds from bleeding together, shepherd the lost, and make ordinary into armour, breakfasts, bedtime, battle plans. Peace lasts exactly one lullaby. This is the story of an orphan pup who became a goddess by choosing her family; of four imperfect alphas learning how to be better. Steamy, fierce, and full of heart, Goddess of the Underworld is a reverse harem, found-family paranormal romance where love writes the rules and keeps three realms from falling apart.
A pack of their own
The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."
New to the world of shifters, Draven is human on the run. A beautiful girl who no one could protect. Domonic is the cold Alpha of the Red Wolf Pack. A brotherhood of twelve wolves that live by twelve rules. Rules which they vowed could NEVER be broken.
Especially - Rule Number One - No Mates
When Draven meets Domonic, he knows that she is his mate, but Draven has no idea what a mate is, only that she has fallen in love with a shifter. An Alpha that will break her heart to make her leave. Promising herself, she will never forgive him, she disappears.
But she doesn’t know about the child she’s carrying or that the moment she left, Domonic decided rules were made to be broken - and now will he ever find her again? Will she forgive him?
The Human Among Wolves
My stomach twisted, but he wasn’t finished.
"You're just a pathetic little human," Zayn said, his words deliberate, each one hitting like a slap. "Spreading your legs for the first guy who bothers to notice you."
Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
I was so, so stupid.

Her body ignites. Her instincts scream. And something primal stirs beneath her skin—
summoning a big, bad Alpha who knows exactly how to quench her fire.

She’ll be the dream he keeps chasing… the one thing that ever made him feel alive.
Because secrets never stay buried.
And neither do dreams.
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
Invisible To Her Bully
Falling For The Biker: The Vice President's Girl
His eyes darken, flicking to my mouth.
"It's wrong. Your brother would slit my throat for just standing this close. But tell me, little bird" his breath ghosts my skin, "are you trembling because you hate me… or because you've wanted this just as much as I have?"
Wren thought she'd buried the chaos of New Orleans for good—the clubs, the blood-soaked loyalties, the men who lived and died by their kuttes. Seattle gave her everything she ever wanted: freedom, love, a future.
But one betrayal shatters it all.
Dragged home by tragedy, Wren finds herself under the watchful eye of Ezra Jax—the Raven Reapers MC's vice president and her brother's best friend. He's infuriating, dangerous, and far too tempting for a man she should never touch.
And the deeper Wren is pulled back into his world, the more she realizes nothing about her past—or about Ezra—is what she believed.
In the chaos of gang wars, mounting debts, and old betrayals, he becomes the one constant. The more she fights him, the harder she falls. And the more he pushes her away, the more lethal his pull becomes.
Because in this world, love isn't sweet.
It's brutal. Bloody.
And it's bound to break them both.
When loyalty is everything and love can cost your life, will Wren risk her heart on the one man she was never meant to love?
