Introduction
This time, I flew all the way to France to surprise him, and mid-flight, I stumbled across a social media post.
My dream girl finally agreed to be with me. How do I make the frumpy, worn-out wife back home file for divorce on her own?
The OP poured out his grievances in the comment section:
When my dream girl suddenly moved abroad, I married her former best friend to keep me company through the hard times, just so I wouldn’t lose touch with her completely.
Now she’s finally said yes to being with me, and I’ve made enough to give her the lavish, privileged life she deserves.
I want my wife to find out about my affair herself so I can get a clean divorce without a fight, but she’s so painfully oblivious. I’ve come home reeking of my dream girl’s perfume on purpose, and every single July I fly here to France for our private time together, watching the lavender bloom in Provence with her. She never noticed a thing.
Perfume. July. France.
Those matching details made my fingers go numb. A deafening buzz exploded in my skull. A bone-deep chill washed over me, and I prayed with everything I had that it was all just a terrible coincidence.
Until I read the final line.
Just got a spending alert from her supplementary credit card—she bought a flight to France. I’m heading to pick up my dream girl now, might as well keep an eye out for her, just in case.
The plane touched down. When I stepped into the arrivals hall, I lifted my head almost instinctively.
There stood Shen Sinian, the man I hadn’t seen in two weeks, in a crisp, tailored suit, a bouquet of roses in his hand, locked in a passionate kiss with a woman with a stunning, willowy figure, her back to me.
He opened his eyes by chance, and through the crowd of travelers, his gaze locked directly with mine.
Chapter 1
My husband Robert Fitzgerald has to go on business trips to Asteria every July, which means we haven't celebrated our wedding anniversary once in our seven years of marriage.
This time I specially flew to Asteria to surprise him, and while scrolling on my phone during the trip, I came across a post.
[My dream girl finally agreed to be with me. How can I get my wife to divorce me on her own?]
The poster was complaining in the comments section.
"My dream girl suddenly went abroad. To keep in touch with her, I married her former best friend who stayed with me through hard times."
"Now my dream girl has agreed to be with me, and I can afford to give her a good life."
"I hope my wife discovers my affair on her own so we can divorce naturally, but she's too slow to catch on. I deliberately come home with my dream girl's perfume on me, and I even come to Asteria every July to watch the lavender in Emerald Valley with her, spending time together as a couple, but she still hasn't noticed."
Perfume, July, Asteria.
These coincidences made my fingers go numb.
My mind went blank.
I felt cold all over, hoping it was all just a coincidence.
Until I saw the last line.
"Just got a text about a charge on the supplementary card - she bought a plane ticket to Asteria. Perfect timing to pick up my dream girl. Let's see what happens."
The plane landed. As I reached the departure hall, I instinctively looked up.
Robert, whom I hadn't seen in half a month, stood there in a sharp suit, holding roses and kissing a woman with a stunning figure.
He opened his eyes by chance, and across the crowd, our eyes met.
Chapter 1
A flash of panic crossed Robert's eyes, mixed with a hint of excitement, but he quickly regained his composure.
The woman in his arms took off her mask - it was Lily Cross, a rising new model.
She was also the daughter of the woman who seduced my father and drove my mother to a mental breakdown.
The crowd rushed forward, cameras pointed at the two of them.
Lily nestled into Robert's arms and said sweetly,
"Since everyone's seen us, I won't hide it anymore. This is my boyfriend Robert. I'm pregnant with our baby. I hope everyone will give us their blessing."
Those words hit me like thunder. I trembled with anger and stepped forward, but was knocked down hard by the chaotic crowd. A sharp pain shot through my ankle.
Robert instinctively reached out to help me, but seeing Lily in his arms, he immediately pulled back and turned to shield her from the crowd with his body.
I sat on the cold floor, watching how carefully he protected Lily, my heart sinking bit by bit.
I don't know how long passed before a shadow fell over me and Robert's voice sounded,
"Sarah, where are you hurt?"
He bent down to check my ankle, his movements as gentle as always, but I only felt disgusted.
"Why? Why her?"
My voice was hoarse beyond recognition.
His grip suddenly tightened, his tone cold and hard,
"What happened with the previous generation has nothing to do with Lily. Don't make her out to be the other woman."
"Isn't she though?"
I glared up at him.
He silently picked me up and put me in the car, then slowly began to talk about what happened in his senior year.
He was robbed and beaten by some thugs, and it was Lily who carried him to the nurse's office and left money for him. Later Lily went abroad, and he'd remembered that kindness for over ten years.
"I only pursued you and married you because I knew you were her best friend. I wanted to learn more about her through you."
"If we're really being honest, you're the third party. I only got close to you because of her."
He turned to look at me, without a trace of guilt in his eyes,
"Sarah, you haven't exactly lost out. I've been good enough to you all these years we've been together."
"If it weren't for me, you wouldn't have the life you have now. So what if you know everything now? You need me."
"Without me, you're nothing."
Robert sneered and handed me a plane ticket,
"Tonight's flight back home. Lily is pregnant, and I don't want you here affecting her mood. As for us, I'll bring her back home after the lavender season ends, and we'll talk then."
My heart felt like it was being cut with a dull knife. Eyes red, I watched him skillfully write down the dosage and timing of medication on a sticky note, his fingers brushing through my messy hair, but his tone was threatening,
"Go back and take care of yourself. Don't make a scene in front of Lily, or I'll immediately stop paying for your mother's hospital bills. You know how expensive that place is."
All my pent-up emotions exploded at once. I grabbed the vase from the table and threw it at him,
"Get out, you bastard!"
He dodged slightly, called his assistant Mark Rodriguez to take me to the airport, then suddenly asked before turning away,
"Why did you suddenly come here this time?"
I looked at him calmly, saying nothing.
He would never know that I came to tell him I was pregnant with his child, wanting to celebrate our first wedding anniversary as a family of three.
On the way to the airport with Mark, I took out my phone and blocked Robert.
Then I replied to the email from that key military functional fragrance research lab on the other side of the ocean, who had wanted to invite me to join them for a long time:
[I'm willing to participate in the research project. My only requirement is ensuring my mother's safety.]
They replied surprisingly fast.
[The project will take at least ten years, possibly thirty. Does your spouse agree?]
I replied through tears:
[Very soon, there won't be a spouse anymore.]
This trip to Asteria - the surprise had become a joke.
And it was time to settle my accounts with Robert, slowly.

Claimed by the Alpha's Love
Four years ago, Fiona's meticulously planned conspiracy turned me from an ordinary omega into a prisoner carrying the weight of a murder charge.
Four years later, I return to a world that has changed beyond recognition.
My best friend Fiona, who is also my stepsister, has become the perfect daughter in my mother's eyes. And my ex-boyfriend, Ethan, is about to hold a high-profile mating ceremony with her.
The love, family bonds, and reputation that I once cherished have all been taken by Fiona.
Just when I had reached my breaking point, questioning the very purpose of my existence, the legendary Alpha Lucas of Moonhaven suddenly appeared in my life.
He is powerful and enigmatic, a figure that all werewolves hold in awe.
Yet, he shows an extraordinary persistence and tenderness towards me.
Is Lucas's appearance a gift from fate, or the start of another conspiracy?
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
The Forbidden Throb
Mine changed in the time it took to open a door.
Behind it: my fiancé Nicholas with another woman.
Three months until our wedding. Three seconds to watch it all burn.
I should have run. Should have screamed. Should have done anything except stand there like a fool.
Instead, I heard the devil himself whisper in my ear:
"If you're willing, I could marry you."
Daniel. The brother I was warned about. The one who made Nicholas look like a choir boy.
He leaned against the wall, watching my world implode.
My pulse thundered. "What?"
"You heard me." His eyes burned into mine. "Marry me, Emma."
But as I stared into those magnetic eyes, I realized something terrifying:
I wanted to say yes to him.
Game on.
The Biker Alpha Who Became My Second Chance Mate
"You're like a sister to me."
Those were the actual words that broke the camel's back.
Not after what just happened. Not after the hot, breathless, soul-shaking night we spent tangled in each other's arms.
I knew from the beginning that Tristan Hayes was a line I shouldn't cross.
He wasn't just anyone, he was my brother's best friend. The man I spent years secretly wanting.
But that night... we were broken. We had just buried our parents. And the grief was too heavy, too real...so I begged him to touch me.
To make me forget. To fill the silence that death left behind.
And he did. He held me like I was something fragile.
Kissed me like I was the only thing he needed to breathe.
Then left me bleeding with six words that burned deeper than rejection ever could.
So, I ran. Away from everything that cost me pain.
Now, five years later, I'm back.
Fresh from rejecting the mate who abused me. Still carrying the scars of a pup I never got to hold.
And the man waiting for me at the airport isn't my brother.
It's Tristan.
And he's not the guy I left behind.
He's a biker.
An Alpha.
And when he looked at me, I knew there was no where else to run to.
The mafia princess return
Accidentally Crossing the Tycoon
Four years ago, the Bailey family faced a devastating financial crisis.
Just when bankruptcy seemed inevitable, a mysterious benefactor emerged, offering salvation with one condition: a contract marriage.
Rumors swirled about this enigmatic man—whispers claimed he was hideously ugly and too ashamed to show his face, possibly harboring dark, twisted obsessions.
Without hesitation, the Baileys sacrificed me to protect their precious biological daughter, forcing me to take her place as a pawn in this cold, calculated arrangement.
Luckily, in those four years, the mysterious husband never asked to meet in person.
Now, in the final year of our arrangement, the husband I've never met is demanding we meet face to face.
But disaster struck the night before my return—drunk and disoriented, I stumbled into the wrong hotel room and ended up sleeping with the legendary financial mogul, Caspar Thornton.
What the hell am I supposed to do now?
The Biker's Fate
I squeezed my eyes shut.
"Dani," he pressed. "Do you get me?"
"No, Austin, I don't," I admitted as I pulled my robe closed again and sat up. "You confuse me."
He dragged his hands down his face. "Tell me what's on your mind."
I sighed. "You're everything my parents warned me against. You're secretive, but you're also honest. I feel wholly protected by you, but then you scare me more than anyone I've ever known. You're a bad boy, but when I dated a so-called good one, he turned out to be the devil, so, yeah, I don't get you because you're not what I expected. You drive me crazier than anyone I've ever met, but then you make me feel complete. I'm feeling things I don't quite know how to process and that makes me want to run. I don't want to give up something that might be really, really good, but I also don't want to be stupid and fall for a boy just because he's super pretty and makes me come."
Danielle Harris is the daughter of an overprotective police chief and has led a sheltered life. As a kindergarten teacher, she's as far removed from the world of Harleys and bikers as you could get, but when she's rescued by the sexy and dangerous Austin Carver, her life is changed forever.

Will Dani finally give her heart to a man who's everything she's been warned about?
The Alpha King's Human Mate

He used one of his hands to stroke my cheek and tingles erupted everywhere.
“I’ve spent enough time without you and I will not let anything else keep us apart. Not other wolves, not my drunken father who’s barely holding himself together the past twenty years, not your family – and not even you.”

Chosen By The Cursed Alpha King
"But I will survive."
I whispered it to the moon, to the chains, to myself—until I believed it.
They say Alpha King Maximus is a monster — too big, too brutal, too cursed. His bed is a death sentence, and no woman has ever left it alive. So why did he choose me?

"Before my beast consumes me completely—I need a son to take the throne."
Too bad for him…I'm not the weak, pathetic girl they threw away. I'm something far more dangerous —the one woman who can break his curse… or break his kingdom.
