Chapter 1
Beta Hemingway resounded a slap on my face, making me fall on the floor helplessly. I grunted in agony, feeling as if my soul had left my body.
"How dare you go against my will? I am selling you to Alpha Damon and that's final! You can’t do anything about it neither can your freaking late father do anything!” Beta Hemingway added just after he slapped me.
" No, Father. Please don't sell me out to this man, I beg of you" I struggled to say on the floor as tears let down my sullen face.
"Mummy, please beg him for me" I caught my foster mum's legs on the floor as she was passing by and begged but it seemed all my tears did not compromise. She kicked me away with her legs, hissed, and then walked away.
My own mother always hated me for reasons I knew nothing about even before the death of my father but I never knew it was as poignant as this.
"You are nothing but a bastard in this family, you are not worthy to be called the Beta's daughter, I think you deserve a place like hell" Tanya, my step-sister spilled hot and poured me a vanilla drink on the floor.
I and Tanya were friends from diapers not until she grew up to see that I am more beautiful than her. She also hated the fact that fine he-wolves always wanted to come around me anytime we went out together. She was almost invisible to guys anytime we walked together.
" I have collected your price, Elena, so forget about these crocodile tears of yours, in no distant time you would be in Alpha Damon’s chamber. Go and pack your load, those dirty clothes of yours and get ready" Beta Hemingway added before he left me.
I was left in pain on the floor. I cried bitterly as my situation loomed over my head. My nervousness was heightened by the fact that I was sold to a cruel, manipulative, and evil Alpha king of the Crescent moon pack.
Beta Hemingway was my stepfather. He never loved me as his stepdaughter. Well, I don't blame him because my so-called mother also hated me. I was more or less like a slave in a house built with my father's hard-earned money. I could say that the greatest mistake of my late father was marrying his mate, my mum. And this is one of the reasons why I hated the mate theory.
I was sold out to Alpha Damon of the Crescent Moon pack all in the name of an arranged marriage and my mum wasn't saying anything about it. It seemed I was inconveniencing them in the house because everybody in the house welcomed Beta Hemingway's selfish decision with open arms.
Who doesn't know Alpha Damon? Almost every wolf knew him. His evil works and selfish desires made him popular all over the country. No She-wolf would pray to have an evil mate like Alpha Damon . His gruesome act had denied ladies from marrying him because the dream of every lady was to settle comfortably in her mate's chamber. Technically, with what I've said you could say that I was sold from a frying pan to a ravaging fire.
Well, I had no option but to comply with the will of my stepfather. I took it as my fate. It was hard to believe but here it was happening to me.
A few minutes later, some vehicles rode into our chamber. The sound of vehicles and the blaring signals tells that it could be Alpha Damon of the Crescent moon pack.
I stood up from the floor and peeped through the window to see Alpha Damon Exchanging pleasantries with Beta Hemingway and my mum. I wiped off my tears so as not to appear weak before this cruel Alpha king.
I went inside my room to change my crop top that had been drenched by Tanya's vanilla and packed my items of luggage. I was ready to face anything coming my way. I didn't care if it were death as much as it would make my wicked family happy.
Alpha Damon Stepped into our chamber and saw me seated on an iron chair and just before I greeted him Beta Hemingway said, "That's Elena, the girl you bought"
" Good, turn around let me see what you got," Alpha Damon said and gestured followed by a crooked smile.
Tanya and my mum were there dashing out fledged chortles as I was told to turn around. " I think you will like her, sir," Tanya whispered.
" She has a big butt and flat waist line, she must be a good breeder" My mum added jokingly amidst murmurs.
I turned around, showing my big side and the curvy shape that I got hesitatingly, but not without trepidation.
" Good, this is exactly what I want. You did a nice job, Beta Hemingway, I like her so much" Alpha Damon Said with an evocative smile.
" I will always get you something nice, my king," Beta Hemingway responded with a bright chortle.
Alpha Damon gestured at his bodyguards and they came inside our chamber and picked up my items of luggage one after the other.
They motioned me out of the chamber to where their cars were halted in a car parking slot behind our rose garden.
" Elena, are you leaving us?" Little Caesar held the tip of my gown and asked bewilderedly.
" No, I am coming back" I caressed his chubby cheeks and said yet I couldn't control my tears.
Little Caesar was the last born who always supports me in anything I do. He was just a twelve years old boy who had always aspired to shift into his wolf at eighteen. I would have loved to see him turn into the fierce and brave wolf he wanted to become but things had an unexpected turn.
He was brave and strong like his father, Beta Hemingway but not wicked like him.
" Caesar she doesn't belong here" Tanya pulled his hand away from my gown.
I entered the car where Alpha Damon was bearing and looked at my late father's chamber for the last time before the ignition was switched on.

Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
They'll Regret This
My fiancé didn't just dump me—he proposed to her that same night. My so-called family handed me bus fare and a one-way ticket to the countryside.
Perfect. Let them think they won.
They don't know who I really am. The anonymous genius surgeon who saves lives when elite hospitals give up. The legendary artist whose paintings sell for millions at auction. The undefeated shadow queen of the underground fighting circuit. And the true heiress to a fortune that makes theirs look like pocket change.
Now my ex-fiancé begs on his knees. My fake sister's jealousy is eating her alive. And that cold, arrogant CEO who once threw our engagement contract in my face? He's hunting me down like a man possessed, desperate for one more chance.
They threw me away like trash to upgrade their lives.
Joke's on them.
I was always the upgrade.

“I thought you said you were done chasing me?” Gen mocked.
“I am done chasing you.”
Before she could formulate a witty remark, Matteo threw her down. She landed hard on her back atop his dining room table. She tried to sit up when she noticed what he was doing. His hands were working on his belt. It came free of his pants with a violent yank. She collapsed back on her elbows, her mouth gaping open at the display. His face was a mask of sheer determination, his eyes were a dark gold swimming with heat and desire. His hands wrapped around her thighs and pulled her to the edge of the table. He glided his fingers up her thighs and hooked several around the inside of her panties. His knuckles brushed her dripping sex.
“You’re soaking wet, Genevieve. Tell me, was it me that made you this way or him?” his voice told her to be careful with her answer. His knuckles slid down through her folds and she threw her head back as she moaned. “Weakness?”
“You…” she breathed.

“There are no limits between us,” he chuckled, the mirth sparkling in his gorgeous eyes. “And all of this stems from the night you gave me both pain and pleasure. I’m simply returning the favor.”
He took two steps forward, and I stepped back. “But…” The memory of what I had done filled me with fear, and I knew I had to get out of there. “I…”
“No, Firecat.” He placed an index finger on my lips. “This will take your mind off that son of a bitch.” His strong hands pulled me by the waist until I felt his hard manhood.
