Introduction
Bambi Scout, a mistreated Omega, has one goal: escape her pack and become a rogue. Her plans shatter when she is unexpectedly chosen as the Alpha’s breeding mate—a position every she-wolf covets and one she never wanted.
Thrust into a world of glittering envy and vicious hatred, Bambi must now face the pack's most powerful and dangerous figures, including the ambitious Luna Odessa. But the most terrifying figure of all is the ruthless Alpha Dawn himself, a wolf of ice and calculated command whose cold demeanor cracks the first night he takes her to his bed.
What begins as a duty for him ignites into a dark, all-consuming obsession.
"Can you just leave me, please? I do not wish to get into trouble with the Luna again."
"But, I want you and I fucking need you. How many times do I have to say it to make it stick?"
"I don't care! Just go! Leave! Please, Alpha."
"I like that," He cupped my jaw. "Sounds like something I want to hear when I'm deep inside you."
I let out an angry, frustrated sigh.
"So, why do you keep depriving us of this?" he continued, "Why can't you give us this?"
"But, why are you doing this, Alpha? Can't you leave when I say so?"
"No!" He shot back. "I hate the idea of anyone else having you. I despise the idea of any man having a taste of you. If I don't have you, no one else can. And if any man dares to try me, I'll paint the town red. Come to me or I'll make your life miserable."
Chapter 1
The breeding selection process is a once-in-an-Alpha's-reign event. It takes place exactly six months after an Alpha ascends his throne and weds his Luna. The mating process is nothing compared to it, at least, not until the breeding selection was introduced.
Many she-wolves deliberately sit out the mating process, hoping to remain unmate and eligible for the breeding process. Once you are bound to a mate, you can never be chosen as the Alpha's breeding mate.
Twenty-four hours ago, I was mateless and eligible. But applying was the last thing on my mind. In fact, I was prepared for a life beyond the Pack. A life as a rogue. My belongings were already packed. I was ready to abandon this wretched existence. By dusk, I would have been gone.
Yet here I was, forced to stand among the other girls for the breeding selection. My hands bound, my dress caked with mud, my eyes swollen and red from hours of crying, my lips dry and trembling. I would rather live as a discarded, bullied Omega than serve as a breeding mate. Giving my body to a married man solely for the purpose of bearing children for him was no dream, it was a nightmare.
In the past hours, I had even contemplated suicide, but every attempt ended in failure. Death refused me.
I shouldn't have tried to escape. Maybe then I wouldn't be here. Maybe if I had just listened to Sable, I wouldn't be in this position at all.
A tear slid down my cheek as a stone-faced guard yanked open the cell bars and marched inside.
"Get up. You qualify for the final round of the breeding selection."
No. Please, no. No!

TWENTY-FOUR HOURS AGO
I let out a long sigh of relief as I tossed the last bag of garbage into the waste bin. Pulling off my gloves, I inspected the area I had just scrubbed clean.
Mr. Thomas's garden was always the last place I tackled. His four spoiled sons used it as their hangout spot with their equally rude friends. I always waited until they were gone before cleaning, it saved me from their jeers, their thrown cans and wrappers, their crude, sexual jokes. The garden became my final stop for a reason.
But today, it was my final stop forever. My last day of working like a dog for higher-ranked werewolves. I was leaving. Choosing a life outside this Pack. A life outside being a discarded Omega. I had never felt more alive with excitement.
Sable thought I was insane. She said no one in their right mind would be excited about becoming a rogue. But she didn't know that long before I made this decision, I had already chosen that life. The Pack forced it on me, forced me to believe that even the life of a rogue was better than this one.
When I reached our house, a one-story building reserved for Omegas in the east wing of the Pack house, tucked deep in the woods, I was reminded of how vulnerable we always were. Rogues and wolf hunters prowled near these parts. By nightfall, we always ensured our nailed windows held firm and our locks had no flaws. Life in the Omega quarters was a life lived in fear. But for me, that fear would end in a matter of hours. Not for Sable. Not for Gideon. Gideon had a family to care for and a bedridden mother. And Sable…
"No! We've already talked about this, Bambi. I can't abandon this life for something even more wretched."
"It's not wretched," I argued, tossing a pair of jeans into my box.
"Life as a rogue is always wretched. You wander, helpless and alone. Just because you want it doesn't mean the rest of us do."
"I don't want it—I chose it," I corrected.
"Then why push me to choose the same?" She planted her hands firmly on her waist.
"Because it's the only real way out of here."
She rolled her eyes dramatically. "It's not a choice I want. I'm content without it."
I crouched low, zipping my last piece of clothing into the box. "I love being a werewolf, Sabe. Even if I'm weak, even if I can't do half of what others can. But the endless rules, the suffocating chains, I can't live under them anymore. This is the best option for me. And one day, it will be for you too."
Sable crouched beside me, pressing the box down to help me zip it.
"I get it, Bambi. But our choices are different. I won't make a decision that ruins me forever. Even as the Pack's wretched Omega, I still have goals. This is best for you. And this—" she tapped her chest—"is best for me."
I smiled softly and pulled her into a hug. When I pulled away, I smirked.
"So," I teased, "what are these goals you're still chasing?"
Her cheeks flushed crimson.
I narrowed my eyes at her. "What are you up to, Sabe?"
"Nothing… just…" She leaned closer, lowering her voice. "I'm joining the breeding selection process."
My smile vanished instantly, replaced by a sharp frown.
"What?" I echoed.
"Yes. It's the best decision I've ever made," she continued, ignoring the storm on my face.
"Being favored by the Alpha himself, it's every girl's dream. And not just any Alpha. Alpha Dawn."
I caught her chin, forcing her to meet my eyes. "Sable, are you in love with the Alpha?"
She hesitated, ready to lie, but her burning cheeks betrayed her.
"Since when?" I demanded, letting her go.
She zipped up my box and grabbed an apple from the basket. "Three summers ago. I met him in the Pack's library. We bumped into each other, and our eyes locked."
"Why didn't you tell me?"
"I wanted to tell you when the time is right. That he is the man of my dreams."
I snorted. "Sable, nothing is special about the Alpha being the man of your dreams. He is every other girl's man of their dreams as well. Moreover, he is married. He has a Luna."
"Still. The way he looked at me was different," she said, taking a huge bite from her apple.
"His eyes—silver, glassy. His lips, full and looking tasty. His strong, veiny arms that reached out when he thought I was going to fall. He is perfect, Bambi."
I sighed, pushing my box to the side. "So what the other girls say is true. He must be really handsome."
"Handsome?!" She suddenly barked, startling me. "He is breathtaking!"
I let out a small laugh. "Well, I wish I could listen to you talk about your not-so-latest crush all day, but I'm so sorry, this is it for us."
She got up, abandoning her half-eaten apple inside its basket and wrapping me in a tight hug. "Call me with that burner phone when you manage to settle."
I nodded and placed a small kiss on her forehead.
For me, it was a goodbye. But for the universe, we were only parting for a few hours.

SEVERAL HOURS LATER
"B-Bambi?"
I knew that voice. Slowly, I turned around, my lips parting when my gaze fell on Sable—dressed in a stunning bodycon dress, the numbering on her chest marking her as one of the Breeding Selection finalists.

On Christmas Eve, I aborted the CEO's child
On Christmas Eve night, my husband brought his mistress home and demanded that I, his pregnant wife, leave with nothing.
On this day, I lost my husband and also lost the child in my womb...
I Loved You in Silence, You Betrayed Me in French
At my birthday party, my husband whispered to his mistress in French that he missed her. His voice was low, but I heard it all—the black lingerie, the bit about how pregnancy makes you more sensitive. His French clients around us were laughing. He turned and put his arm around me, claiming he was just helping his clients come up with sweet nothings.
He doesn't know I understand every single word. Just like he doesn't know that inside my body, I'm carrying his other surprise. And his mistress—she's pregnant too. Two wombs, one secret.
Confrontation would be too cheap. Tears are worthless. I quietly started cataloging the hidden networks my father left behind, activating the Swiss accounts.
In seven days, Zoey Smith will cease to exist. And what will my husband's reaction be?
He Never Loved Me, Until I Left
I put away the divorce agreement with a wry smile.
When he and my son completely disappeared, he finally panicked.
Three months later .
He knelt down on the streets of Chicago in despair, begging me to remarry him.
My six-year-old son looked coldly at his biological father and said, "Get lost, you bad uncle! You don't deserve to be my dad!"
When I Disappeared, He Regretted It
The moment the screen lit up, my entire world came crashing down.
The woman on the bed was Calista - that girl who grew up with us since we were kids. And that hand caressing her skin was wearing the wedding ring I had personally put on Matteo's finger.
"I've missed you so much..."
"You drive me crazy, baby..."
Those sweet words I knew so well completely destroyed me.
Everyone said we were the perfect couple, but who knew this marriage was built on nothing but lies?
Since he's so good at acting, I guess it's time I gave him a show of my own. I'm going to make sure everyone sees what this "perfect husband" really is...
He Thought I'd Never Leave
When he said he was being bullied, I believed him. When he kissed me on that rooftop, I thought he felt the same. When he asked me to transfer schools with him, I said yes without hesitation.
Then I heard him bragging to his friends: "She'd save her first time for me. Hell, she'd still be thinking of me on her wedding night."
The bullying was staged. The kiss meant nothing. He just wanted me gone—so his new girl could feel more comfortable.
He thought I'd beg. He thought I'd cry. He thought I'd never actually leave.
I left the country.
And ran straight into his stepbrother.
I Died While They Threw Her a Party
Their real daughter came home. She'd only been back two years. That's all it took to erase twenty-four.
When kidnappers grabbed us, I used my body as a shield. They beat me until something inside me ruptured. I was dying from internal bleeding, but no one could tell.
My parents wouldn't even look at me. "This is your fault! None of this would've happened if it weren't for you!"
"Get downstairs and apologize to your sister. If you can't, pack your things and get out."
They threw her a party at a downtown hotel while I died alone in my room.
I thought they'd be relieved. Maybe even glad. I thought they'd just move on like I never existed.
But when they finally learned the truth, they fell apart.
Bury Me in His Regret
The kidnapper pressed the gun to my temple and asked, "Choose your wife or your sister-in-law?"
Zachary didn't hesitate. "Let Valerie go," he said.
He actually chose to save his sister-in-law! In that moment, even the baby in my belly seemed to stop kicking.
Later, they locked me in the basement. Drugs to delay labor were pumped into my veins over and over. Zachary wanted to save the "firstborn son" status for his sister-in-law's child.
When warm blood finally soaked through my skirt, I dialed the number I knew by heart with shaking hands.
"Zachary," I whispered into the phone, "our child... can't wait any longer."
The Kidney That Killed Me
A few months ago, my sister was hospitalized with kidney failure. The doctor said she needed a transplant. My family's first thought was me—the backup daughter they'd kept around all these years.
When my husband Allen took my hand with tears in his eyes and said, "Only you can save her," I agreed without hesitation.
When the doctor explained the surgical risks and potential complications, I smiled and nodded my understanding.
My parents said I'd finally learned what sisterly love meant.
Even Allen, who'd always been cold to me, held my hand gently and said, "The surgery's safe. You're so healthy, nothing will go wrong. When you recover, I'll take you to Hawaii."
But they don't know that no matter how the surgery goes, I won't be around to celebrate.
Because I just got my own test results—I have terminal brain cancer. I'm going to die anyway.
After the Affair: Falling into a Billionaire's Arms
From first crush to wedding vows, George Capulet and I had been inseparable. But in our seventh year of marriage, he began an affair with his secretary.
On my birthday, he took her on vacation. On our anniversary, he brought her to our home and made love to her in our bed...
Heartbroken, I tricked him into signing divorce papers.
George remained unconcerned, convinced I would never leave him.
His deceptions continued until the day the divorce was finalized. I threw the papers in his face: "George Capulet, from this moment on, get out of my life!"
Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."
Alpha Nicholas's Little Mate
What? No—wait… oh Moon Goddess, no.
Please tell me you're joking, Lex.
But she's not. I can feel her excitement bubbling under my skin, while all I feel is dread.
We turn the corner, and the scent hits me like a punch to the chest—cinnamon and something impossibly warm. My eyes scan the room until they land on him. Tall. Commanding. Beautiful.
And then, just as quickly… he sees me.
His expression twists.
"Fuck no."
He turns—and runs.
My mate sees me and runs.

While he tries to refuse to acknowledge that he has met his mate his world is turned upside down after guards catch two she-wolves running through his lands.
Once they are brought to him he finds himself once again facing his mate and discovers that she's hiding secrets that will make him want to kill more than one person.

Can they both work on letting go of the past and moving forward together or will fate have different plans and keep them apart?

The Human Among Wolves
My stomach twisted, but he wasn’t finished.
"You're just a pathetic little human," Zayn said, his words deliberate, each one hitting like a slap. "Spreading your legs for the first guy who bothers to notice you."
Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
I was so, so stupid.
