Celene: Alpha's Goddess
THEE MECURIAN · Ongoing · 78.1k Words
Introduction
The moment the dark knight tossed the severed head of her rapist at her feet, Celene's fate was sealed.
Once the beloved princess of Andreia, she lost everything when her father died—betrayed by her murderous stepmother, conquered by the tyrant King Japhet, and brutalized by royal guards.
Left for dead in a secret cell, she is saved only by a mysterious knight who offers her vengeance… in exchange for her loyalty.
Framed for regicide and condemned to the Forest of the Damned, a cursed realm of monsters and magic, Celene faces a choice no princess should ever have to make: die a traitor, or pledge herself to a dark power that will remake her body, her blood, and her destiny.
Now, hunted by armies, haunted by a goddess's bargain, and torn between the knight who saved her and the prince who wants her destroyed, Celene must decide.
Will she unleash the wrath of a cursed princess to burn her enemies to ash… or embrace the power within to stop a war that will consume both worlds?
Chapter 1
"Celene, what are you doing here? The burial ceremony is over." Her voice made my stomach twist with disgust. Everything this woman touched crumbled before my very eyes, and every word she said was a knife to the heart a thousand times over. I despised her so much. And now that my father was gone, my life was about to take a turn for the worse.
I stayed silent. I didn't want this despicable woman to ruin my last moments with him.
"In respect of your father's demise, I'll leave you to mourn. Be back home by nightfall." She spoke again, then turned around to walk away.
She took a few steps away from me, then stopped. "Oh, and Celene, there will be a few changes at the mansion. Be prepared," her voice sounded. I couldn't see it, but I knew for a fact that she had a satisfied smirk on her face.
A smile that meant doom for me and every little thing left to make me happy.
A while later, I walked steadily with a blank expression on my face to my stepmother's room, the clicking sound made by the sole of my flat-footed shoe echoing throughout the large passage. I stopped in front of her door, and pushed out a soft breath, knocking gently.
"Mother, you called?" I asked and waited for her reply, staring at the large wooden door. The door had beautiful, intricate patterns carved into it. The patterns spiraled around each corner and danced like water waves toward the center of the door, where they formed a beautiful sunflower.
"Come in." Her cold voice came. The sound of her vocals sent chills down my spine and, like a cold morning breeze, caused the hair on my skin to stand on end.
I pushed the door open, and it creaked like its hinges hadn't been oiled for months.
She sat on a throne-like chair in the middle of the room with her legs crossed. I dared not look at her face.
"Celene, I called to inform you that I have fired some of the servants in the mansion. The only few that remain will be the ones to assist me on my daily rounds; you will be in charge of cleaning and cooking; if you have any objections, I do not care," my stepmother declared with a calm but firm tone.
"But mother, you do realize how big this mansion is, right?" I asked—I was certainly not surprised at this cunning move of hers.
"Yes, I do, Celene, and I expect you to do a decent job maintaining its beauty and sophistication," she replied, completely nonchalant to my opinions, then waved her hand to dismiss me.
I let out a sigh, then turned around and walked away. No one could object to her authority now. She was the Queen of Andreia after all, and now that the King, my father, was dead, no one dared to defy her.
"Celene," Her voice sounded behind me, stopping my movements in an instant. I turned around slowly and, in response, asked, "Yes, mother?"
"Start with the toilets," she ordered abruptly, staring at me with disgust in her eyes.
"Yes, mother," I replied, then left the room.
The head maid's hand came down, landing on my face with a loud smack. I fell to the dusty ground and squealed in pain. The tears I had been holding back finally broke loose and ran down my cheeks.
"Are you crazy? Are you trying to kill me with all this dust? Your mother will hear about this, and you will pay for it." She hissed like a venomous snake, throwing insults that pierced through my heart like a long needle extending from her mouth to my chest.
As I pushed my right palm against my face, footsteps echoed through the large hall and silenced the head maid's harsh words in my mind. The steps made by metal boots echoed through the hall nonstop, and I just had to turn to see who it was.
My brows furrowed the moment I saw his face—the face of the king of Valtoria, king Japhet. His kingdom demolished our western city over three weeks ago. My sadness immediately turned into anger, but I dared not say a word as he had a party of knights behind him who were ready to kill anyone who dared to cross him.
I had hoped he would turn to me as he walked through the hall, so he would see in my eyes how much hatred I had for him, but unfortunately, he didn't.
Only one of his knights turned to me.
He wore armor colored a darker shade of grey than the rest and had marble-black eyes. He carried a cold look on his face, but his eyes almost seemed as if they were trying to send me a message.
He stared at me for a moment, then walked away.
He and the other knights walked past me and the head-maid, following their king into the next passage.
After they had disappeared into the next passage, I turned back to the head maid and found her on her knees with her eyes closed and her head lowered. She had her palms together, forming a triangle with her thumbs as the base. This was our way of greeting here in Andreia. It was customary for people of lower class to kneel before a king and form the symbol of their kingdom as a sign of respect.
I had no respect for the man who had just walked past me. He was a ruthless monster who knew nothing but to start wars and cause suffering. I was never going to be seen bowing to such a person.
I waited a moment to see if the head maid would get up, but she didn't. It almost seemed like her entire body had gone stiff. I used the opportunity to run toward the passage the king and his soldiers went through.
I followed them quietly, hiding in the shadows and behind walls until they reached a door—Sylvania's room. The other soldiers walked in different directions, while king Japhet knocked on the door.
The door opened and he stepped in.

After the Affair: Falling into a Billionaire's Arms
I’d appreciate all your support, thank you so much!
From first crush to wedding vows, George Capulet and I had been inseparable. But in our seventh year of marriage, he began an affair with his secretary.
On my birthday, he took her on vacation. On our anniversary, he brought her to our home and made love to her in our bed...
Heartbroken, I tricked him into signing divorce papers.
George remained unconcerned, convinced I would never leave him.
His deceptions continued until the day the divorce was finalized. I threw the papers in his face: "George Capulet, from this moment on, get out of my life!"
Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."
The CEO's Unspoken Love
Before I could answer, he moved closer, suddenly looming over me, his face inches from mine. I felt my breath caught, my lips parting in surprise.
"Then this is the price for speaking ill of me to others," he murmured, nipping my lower lip before claiming my mouth in a real kiss. It began as punishment but quickly transformed into something else entirely as I responded, my initial rigidity melting into compliance, then active participation.
My breathing accelerated, small sounds escaping my throat as he explored my body. His touches were both punishment and pleasure, drawing shudders from me that I thought he felt reverberating through his own body.
My nightgown had ridden up, his hands discovering more of mine with each caress. We were both lost in sensation, rational thought receding with each passing second...
Three years ago, to fulfill the wish of his grandmother, I was forced to marry Derek Wells, the second son of the family that had adopted me for ten years. He didn't love me, but I had secretly loved him all along.
Now, the three-year contractual marriage is about to end, but I feel that some kind of sentiment has developed between Derek and me that neither of us is willing to admit. I'm not sure if my feelings are right, but I know that we can't resist each other physically...
His Lethal Obsession
He didn't respond but moved his eyes around the room, scanning the place.
"Wha...what are you doing here?"
His icy blue eyes returned to me, sending shivers down my spine. Then further dropped to my dress and then back to my eyes.
"The shit going on downstairs, what does it mean?" he asked, making my legs as weak as they are eager to flee.
"It's....it my wedding,"
He scoffed darkly. "Excuse me?"
I swallowed. "I am......getting married,"
He let out a humorless laugh, looking away and giving me lesser comfort. He looked at me with a demonic frown.
Terror washed me.
"Every single motherfucker/human being here, be it adult or child, including you, will burn before that happens,"

After One Night with the Alpha
I thought I was waiting for love. Instead, I got fucked by a beast.
My world was supposed to bloom at the Moonshade Bay Full Moon Festival—champagne buzzing in my veins, a hotel room booked for Jason and me to finally cross that line after two years. I’d slipped into lacy lingerie, left the door unlocked, and lay on the bed, heart pounding with nervous excitement.
But the man who climbed into my bed wasn’t Jason.
In the pitch-black room, drowned in a heady, spicy scent that made my head spin, I felt hands—urgent, scorching—searing my skin. His thick, pulsing cock pressed against my dripping cunt, and before I could gasp, he thrust hard, tearing through my innocence with ruthless force. Pain burned, my walls clenching as I clawed at his iron shoulders, stifling sobs. Wet, slick sounds echoed with every brutal stroke, his body unrelenting until he shuddered, spilling hot and deep inside me.
"That was amazing, Jason," I managed to say.
"Who the fuck is Jason?"
My blood turned to ice. Light slashed across his face—Brad Rayne, Alpha of Moonshade Pack, a werewolf, not my boyfriend. Horror choked me as I realized what I’d done.
I ran away for my life!
But weeks later, I woke up pregnant with his heir!
They say my heterochromatic eyes mark me as a rare true mate. But I’m no wolf. I’m just Elle, a nobody from the human district, now trapped in Brad's world.
Brad’s cold gaze pins me: “You carry my blood. You’re mine.”
There is no other choice for me but to chose this cage. My body also betrays me, craving the beast who ruined me.
