Chasing the Wife He Threw Away
Fajrina Agusti · Ongoing · 45.0k Words
Introduction
On a night filled with overwhelming emotions and alcohol, Felicia accidentally bumped into a stranger. That unexpected encounter turned into a single night that would change her life forever.
A few weeks later, Felicia was shocked to discover that she was pregnant.
But the real shock came when she learned the man’s true identity—he was the husband of the woman who had been having an affair with Wilson, her own husband.
Chapter 1
“Damn loyalty,” Felicia whispered, her tongue already heavy from the alcohol she had drunk earlier.
Her steps were unsteady as she decided to leave the crowd inside the nightclub. But near the dimly lit entrance, her eyes caught the silhouette of a man.
The man stood tall, wearing a dark suit that looked far too expensive for a place like this.
A cold and powerful aura radiated from him.
Without thinking, driven by burning anger and the remaining alcohol in her blood, Felicia approached him.
She wrapped her trembling arms around the broad shoulders of the stranger.
“Will you get me pregnant, sir? I want to have a baby!” Felicia said bluntly, her voice hoarse yet demanding.
The man did not smile. Instead, he slowly turned his body, staring at Felicia with sharp hawk-like eyes.
There was a strange glint behind his dark pupils—a mixture of interest and subtle disdain.
“Miss Felicia,” the man’s voice was deep, like a baritone that vibrated through the air.
“Are you sure you want to sleep with me and ask me to get you pregnant? Don’t you already have a respectable husband?”
Felicia laughed bitterly, her laughter sounding miserable amid the noise of the club.
She raised her index finger, pointing it right in front of the man’s face with a trembling hand.
“Husband? My husband is busy spending the night with his mistress! They have betrayed this marriage for three years! Do you think I should continue this ridiculous marriage with him?”
she shouted, releasing all the weight that had been choking her throat.
“I’m sick of Wilson. I want him to feel what betrayal feels like. I want to carry another man’s child so he knows that he no longer means anything to me!”
The man, whose name was Andre, narrowed his eyes. He knew Felicia, of course. In the business world, who didn’t know the wife of Wilson, the property tycoon? But seeing Felicia in such a shattered state gave him a far more dangerous idea.
Without saying another word, Andre grabbed Felicia by the waist. He lifted her up, ignoring her weak protest that soon turned into a resigned sigh.
“Sir, so you finally want to get me pregnant. I’ll pay you after you succeed in making me pregnant!” Felicia shouted while enjoying being in the man’s embrace.
Inside the presidential suite of the hotel located right above the club, the atmosphere quickly turned heated.
Andre dropped Felicia onto the soft king-size bed. The dim lights cast dramatic shadows over Felicia’s curves, still wrapped in a thin silk dress.
“You will regret this tomorrow morning, Felicia,” Andre whispered near her ear.
“I don’t care… just do it. I want to avenge my broken heart against that damn Wilson!” Felicia replied, pulling Andre’s shirt collar, burying herself in the intoxicating scent of his masculine perfume.
That night, revenge turned into primitive desire. They kissed and embraced each other with overflowing intensity.
Moans repeatedly broke the silence of the room, an orchestra of sin performed in the name of heartbreak.
Felicia felt as if she were burning every bridge to her past.
Until finally, overwhelming exhaustion brought them to a peak that left them both weak and stunned, before sleep’s darkness eventually claimed Felicia’s consciousness.
The sunlight slipping through the gap in the curtains made Felicia’s eyes sting. Her head felt as if it had been struck by a sledgehammer—the side effect of last night’s alcohol.
She reached to the side of the bed, but found only cold, empty sheets.
The man was gone.
Memories of what she had done last night rushed in like a tsunami.
Felicia sat up abruptly, pulling the blanket to cover her naked body.
“Damn it! Why did I end up sleeping with a stranger like that!” she cursed at herself.
Tears of regret began to gather, but she quickly wiped them away. She couldn’t afford to look weak now.
With trembling hands, Felicia put her clothes back on.
She had to leave as quickly as possible before her dignity was further shattered.
But just as she turned the doorknob, two tall men in black suits were already standing there, blocking her way.
“Madam, my boss is waiting for you,” one of the bodyguards said in a flat voice.
Felicia’s heart dropped. “Boss? Who is your boss? I want to go home!”
“You will find out, Madam. Now please come with us to the upper floor.”
Without giving her any room to argue, the two men escorted Felicia to the penthouse on the top floor of the building.
A feeling of unease enveloped Felicia.
Who was the man from last night?
Why did he have bodyguards?
The door of the large room upstairs opened automatically. Felicia stepped inside and froze. Behind a large desk that directly faced the city view sat the man from last night.
He looked far more intimidating in a white shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows.
“Andre? So it was you…” Felicia’s voice caught.
Andre stood up and walked closer with the steps of a predator. Without permission, he grabbed Felicia by the waist, pulling her until their chests touched.
He smiled teasingly, a smile that made the hairs on the back of Felicia’s neck stand up.
“Was my performance last night still not enough, Madam? If it wasn’t, I can give you that satisfaction again right now,” he whispered in a provocative tone.
Felicia’s face flushed completely, torn between embarrassment and anger.
“Andre, last night… it was an accident! I was drunk, I wasn’t thinking clearly!”
Andre laughed, a cold yet pleasant sound.
“An accident? Oh, Miss Felicia, you went crazy with me. You came to me, asked for my seed, and gave yourself completely.”
He released Felicia’s waist, then circled around her like a shark circling its prey.
“In my world, nothing is free. You already used my body for your revenge, so now you must pay the price. From this moment on, you are my lover. And don’t expect Wilson to take you back, because I don’t like sharing what belongs to me with anyone.”

Taste of Fate: The Vampire King's Human Mate
He reached for the back of my head and pulled me up just enough to reach my neck. When his fangs slid into me, the pain was instant, electric. I couldn’t breathe. I couldn’t think. My hands found his shoulders, clawing for something to hold. My legs kicked. Tears streamed down my cheeks.
He moaned against my throat as he drank, and the sound was devastating.
