Introduction
“My wolf knew you were his, which was just after my sixteenth birthday, he wanted you from the moment he knew you were meant for us, but I’ve wanted you to be mine since we first played at recess in kindergarten, would you do me the honor of being my wife and not just my mate?”
The world we come from is a very dangerous one. One that we wanted to escape from, our world is divided up into factions, there are seven in total. Human, Angel, Demon, Werewolf, Vampire, Fae, and Witch.
Life is what you make of it, but what do you do when you find out that you're not exactly human? My life wasn't exactly perfect, but it was a good life, on the day I turned seventeen years old, I found out that there is a prophecy about me. A prophecy that stated that I would be the downfall of the Under World Society as they knew it.
Chapter 1
I was a creature of the doorway, all sharp angles and held breath. The shadows didn’t just swallow me. They clung like a second skin, muffling my sobs and turning my blood to ice. I was seven years old, learning the taste of my own heart in my throat.
The air smelled wrong. Coppery blood and something colder, metallic, like lightning after a storm. Under the snarling voices, the refrigerator hummed its stupid, cheerful song. A sound I would hate for the rest of my life.
My parents knelt in the center of the floor, pinned by two men.
Men who weren’t men at all.
Their skin had the gray, knotted texture of old bark. When they shifted, I heard the dry scrape of wood on bone. They held my parents down with limbs that ended in splintered, twig-thin fingers.
“The hybrid.” A third man’s voice slid through the room like a blade. He was lean and sharp, his smile more cut than comfort. “Where is the little abomination?”
He circled them like a vulture.
“The prophecy demands its end,” he said softly, as if he were offering kindness. “Tell me, and your deaths will be clean. Defy me, and I’ll peel your angelic grace from your bones and feed your demon heart to the hounds.”
My father spat blood and fury. “Go to Hell!”
His eyes, usually a warm brown, flared with faint orange light. The bark-skinned brute holding him grunted as the heat singed his knotted flesh.
“We’ll never give you our child.”
He’d always been kind. Patient. The man who fixed scraped knees and kissed the top of my head like the world wasn’t cruel. But now his voice was steel. For one foolish second, hope pierced my terror.
Then the lean man laughed.
My knees trembled with the urge to run to him, to throw myself between them and beg them to take me instead. But my mother found me first. Her eyes locked on mine. She gave the smallest shake of her head and mouthed one word.
RUN.
The blade descended.
A wet, final sound.
The world didn’t fade. It shattered. My mother’s eyes. Wide. Fixed on me. Then light exploded into shards and the screaming cut off mid-breath, swallowed by a static roar that ripped me out of my own body.
“Falencia, babygirl. It’s okay. You’re safe. Come back.”
I gasped, lungs dragging air like I’d been underwater. My room swam into focus. The dim glow of my alarm clock. The cool wood floor pressed to my cheek. My tongue felt thick, coated in the phantom taste of ash and blood.
My palms ached. I uncurled my fingers, half-expecting splinters from the doorframe.
Nothing.
Just the frantic tremor of my own body.
I turned my head to find Berik, her dark eyes full of worry.
“You were crawling out your window when I found you,” she murmured. “I barely got you to the floor in time.”
The window?
I didn’t remember. I couldn’t remember anything beyond the weight of terror and the impression of a doorframe against my palms.
A bitter groan escaped me as I raked shaky fingers through my hair. “I wish these episodes would stop. It feels like they’re eating me alive.”
“They’ve been happening more often.” Berik’s voice carried a weight I didn’t want to name. “Do you know why, sweetheart?”
I bit my lip hard, forcing back the burn behind my eyes. I hated when she looked at me like that. Like I was still the broken child she’d taken in. “No. Nothing comes to mind.”
The door creaked, spilling a thin wedge of hallway light into the room. Freyja leaned against the frame, fiery hair mussed with sleep, green eyes wide with worry.
“Another nightmare?”
“Yeah.” My voice was thin, frayed at the edges.
Freyja crossed the room and perched on the edge of my bed, patting the space beside her. “They’re worse lately. Are you sure you’re okay?”
“I don’t know.” Frustration prickled beneath my skin. “I wish I understood why they won’t stop.”
Berik brushed a strand of hair from my face. “Do you want me to call your therapist tomorrow? Maybe she could help.”
A sharp laugh slipped out, too bitter to be kind. “No offense, but she’s useless. She acts like my nightmares are just feelings wearing costumes. Like she has no idea what they actually mean.”
Freyja reached for my hand, squeezing gently. “Then we’ll figure it out together. You’re not alone.”
Silence settled over us, heavy but almost sacred.
Then Berik stood. “I’ll make hot chocolate. Salted caramel?”
Freyja and I answered in unison, a fragile smile tugging at my mouth. “Salted caramel.”
She left, and the soft clink of mugs drifted in from the kitchen.
Freyja stayed close, her warmth steady beside me. “You know… the anniversary’s tomorrow. Their deaths. And your birthday. Maybe that’s why the dreams are clawing their way back.”
The words landed slow and deep. I hadn’t realized the date had crept so close.
“I hate that you share your birthday with something so cruel,” Freyja whispered. “You deserve better.”
I closed my eyes and let the sentence sit on my chest like a promise I wasn’t sure I believed yet. “Maybe someday I will.”

I squeezed my eyes shut.
"Dani," he pressed. "Do you get me?"
"No, Austin, I don't," I admitted as I pulled my robe closed again and sat up. "You confuse me."
He dragged his hands down his face. "Tell me what's on your mind."
I sighed. "You're everything my parents warned me against. You're secretive, but you're also honest. I feel wholly protected by you, but then you scare me more than anyone I've ever known. You're a bad boy, but when I dated a so-called good one, he turned out to be the devil, so, yeah, I don't get you because you're not what I expected. You drive me crazier than anyone I've ever met, but then you make me feel complete. I'm feeling things I don't quite know how to process and that makes me want to run. I don't want to give up something that might be really, really good, but I also don't want to be stupid and fall for a boy just because he's super pretty and makes me come."

“I thought you said you were done chasing me?” Gen mocked.
“I am done chasing you.”
Before she could formulate a witty remark, Matteo threw her down. She landed hard on her back atop his dining room table. She tried to sit up when she noticed what he was doing. His hands were working on his belt. It came free of his pants with a violent yank. She collapsed back on her elbows, her mouth gaping open at the display. His face was a mask of sheer determination, his eyes were a dark gold swimming with heat and desire. His hands wrapped around her thighs and pulled her to the edge of the table. He glided his fingers up her thighs and hooked several around the inside of her panties. His knuckles brushed her dripping sex.
“You’re soaking wet, Genevieve. Tell me, was it me that made you this way or him?” his voice told her to be careful with her answer. His knuckles slid down through her folds and she threw her head back as she moaned. “Weakness?”
“You…” she breathed.

From Substitute To Queen
Heartbroken, Sable discovered Darrell having sex with his ex in their bed, while secretly transferring hundreds of thousands to support that woman.
Even worse was overhearing Darrell laugh to his friends: "She's useful—obedient, doesn't cause trouble, handles housework, and I can fuck her whenever I need relief. She's basically a live-in maid with benefits." He made crude thrusting gestures, sending his friends into laughter.
In despair, Sable left, reclaimed her true identity, and married her childhood neighbor—Lycan King Caelan, nine years her senior and her fated mate. Now Darrell desperately tries to win her back. How will her revenge unfold?
From substitute to queen—her revenge has just begun!
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.

"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."
