Introduction

I have three mates!
The first is Stone, originally, I think he is a human and then I can hide my true self to live a simple life with him, but he told me I look like his ex-wife. Screw him!
The Second, Lycian, Alpha of Gladiator Moon Pack, he said I am his mate and wait for me for many years, but wants to share me with his destined enemy just because I am the key to peace. Fuck him.
Yeah, the third one is Requiem, Alpha of Stone Moon Pack. The shit man has a fiancée and also said I am his mate. Am I insane or is he insane?

And who am I?
I am the Last descendant of the Moon Goddess, a special breed child and a prize to any Alpha.
Should I kill the three men or force them to kneel before me?

Chapter 1

**Prologue **

**Moon Goddess POV: **

Let me introduce myself. My name is Artemis. I am the goddess of wild animals, the hunt, and vegetation and of chastity and childbirth. The Romans called me Diana. But my name is Artemis I am the daughter of Zeus and Leto and the twin sister of Apollo. Among the rural populace, was the favorite goddess of the humans and non-humans. I protected my children, especially the young; earning the title Mistress of Animals.

Over the centuries, my name has changed. Some called me Diana, some called me Leto, some called me Skadi, some called me Nehalennia. But within the last century, my children started calling me Selene. Even my description has changed, mainly due to my children giving me a new name. I changed my appearance. I really don’t care what they call me as long as they understand I am their creator, their mother and, like any mother, when her children get out of line, she punishes them.

Two households, both alike in dignity. From ancient grudge break to new mutiny, where civil blood makes civil packs unclean. From the fatal loins of these two enemies. I know this sounds like some Shakespeare shit, but this is far from the story Romeo and his Juliet. It’s been centuries of blood and war between my children. Of course, in the shifter world there are wars for power, land, and even love. But the Gladiator Moon Pack and Stone Moon pack hold a special place in my heart. The fact that their feud lasted over centuries is starting to piss me off.

Why might someone ask if I am mad and disappointed in these two packs? Well, I will tell you the Gladiator Moon Pack Alphas are descendants of my fated mate. While the Stone Moon Pack are descendants of the mate chosen for me whom I didn’t love. These two packs hold a special hate for each other, just like their founding fathers. My attempts to bring them peace have been in vain. I have stopped giving both pack Alphas fated mates for a decade, and yet they seemed unfazed. They mated on their own, much to my dismay.

My last attempt to make peace was when I paired Ally, the daughter of the Alpha of the Gladiator Moon Pack, with Seth, the son of the Stone Moon Pack. And of course, my children are still, who are still rebels rejected each other based on centuries of hate. I laughed at my children reluctantly. Now we are here in the twenty-first century, I have watched as the world changed, as some of my children changed and evolved, all but those two packs. So, what I did this time is the same I did last time I paired the Alpha heirs of both packs to each other.

The twist in this is that they are both males. To say that the world was shocked is an understatement. Don’t get me wrong. I paired same-sex couples before. But they need to understand my will be done. I want peace for my children, so if they accept each other, I will bless them with a mate that will better both of them. Those packs have lost their way, as well as my last living descendant. My mortal bloodline ends with her, and I can't let that happen. She will be their reward if they are worthy of her.

A man is not worth of a woman just because he is a man. He has to earn her, earn her trust, earn her love. And earing the trust of a hurt woman is something that is hard to do. This will be fun and heart breaking to watch. My children can be stubborn. And my ex-husband can be an ass. I know he is out there waiting to take away the Alphas prize. You would think after centuries he will get over me. But I guess it is hard to get over a goddess.

**Stone POV: **

For centuries, I have been denied what has been promised to me. Zeus is no longer alive but his oath stands true. Artemis has been working hard making sure her daughters with that bastard are already taken by the time I get to them. And that was Zeus's only rule. If they are claimed already, they are not to be mine.

So, I played the game up until I found the last one. However, she was only an infant when I found her. Even as an infant I felt the power in her. I have to wait until she is of breeding age. On top of all of that, I have to keep watch on her. She is the last and if she is claimed I will never get what is owed to me.

Right now, I am watching some asshole pretend to be her friend just so he can get inside her pants. He is the future Beta of her mother's pack. And my prize is head over heel over him. Every summer since she became a teenager, she has been visiting this pack. I don't feel her power anymore, but I know she still has it.

The wind blows and I smell her, my ex-wife. I should have known she would be somewhere around here. She loves the forests hell she is the Goddess of it. If I can sense her, but she can sense me. Reluctantly I leave going back to my penthouse. Soon she will be mine. And when I get her, I will never let her go. God's help whoever tries to get in the way of me claiming my prize. She is mind, no matter what it takes. The debt promised to me will be paid in full. And I will be made whole.

If you haven't guessed it. I am the bad guy in this story. Or I am made out to be the bad guy. I don't think there is anything wrong with wanting what was promised to you.

When kidnappers grabbed us, I used my body as a shield. They beat me until something inside me ruptured. I was dying from internal bleeding, but no one could tell.

My parents wouldn't even look at me. "This is your fault! None of this would've happened if it weren't for you!"

"Get downstairs and apologize to your sister. If you can't, pack your things and get out."

They threw her a party at a downtown hotel while I died alone in my room.

I thought they'd be relieved. Maybe even glad. I thought they'd just move on like I never existed.

Zachary didn't hesitate. "Let Valerie go," he said.

He actually chose to save his sister-in-law! In that moment, even the baby in my belly seemed to stop kicking.

Later, they locked me in the basement. Drugs to delay labor were pumped into my veins over and over. Zachary wanted to save the "firstborn son" status for his sister-in-law's child.

A few months ago, my sister was hospitalized with kidney failure. The doctor said she needed a transplant. My family's first thought was me—the backup daughter they'd kept around all these years.

When my husband Allen took my hand with tears in his eyes and said, "Only you can save her," I agreed without hesitation.

When the doctor explained the surgical risks and potential complications, I smiled and nodded my understanding.

My parents said I'd finally learned what sisterly love meant.

Even Allen, who'd always been cold to me, held my hand gently and said, "The surgery's safe. You're so healthy, nothing will go wrong. When you recover, I'll take you to Hawaii."

But they don't know that no matter how the surgery goes, I won't be around to celebrate.

Because I just got my own test results—I have terminal brain cancer. I'm going to die anyway.

"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"

George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"

"I'm afraid that's impossible."

Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."
