Introduction
Zayne is everything she despises: arrogant, controlling, and utterly reckless. He leaves her stranded, orchestrates cruel games, and tests her patience at every turn. But as Arlina fights back, refusing to be a victim, sparks fly between them. Fiery, dangerous sparks she can’t ignore. What begins as revenge slowly twists into something far more complicated and dangerous: Attraction.
Chapter 1
~ARLINA~
The speakers boomed with music that made my head pound. I could barely hear my thoughts and the smell of alcohol and sweat lingering in the air made me want to puke.
A reminder that I shouldn't even be here in the first place. But I had to leave.
My mother and I just moved for the umpteenth time and I desperately needed a break. So I did the dumbest thing ever.
Rather than stay out in bed and recover from the jet lag, I decided to sneak into the club down the street. In my defense, I only intended on taking a scroll and only found it by accident.
I headed to the bar, hoping the alcohol would get me to loosen up a bit.
The bartender barely looked at me when I asked for something “not too strong,” which he apparently interpreted as “make her regret her life choices,” because the drink he slid across the counter burned down my throat like liquid fire.
I winced, coughing.
‘Smooth, Arlina. Real smooth.’
From all indications, this was clearly not going to work. So I threw the last shot down my throat and dropped the bills on the table.
The minute I turned to leave, I collided into something and the next minute, cold liquid splashed all over my chest.
I gasped, stumbling back as the drink soaked into my top. The strong smell of whiskey hit my nose a second later.
“Seriously?” a deep, annoyed voice snapped.
I blinked up and found a tall guy in a tight black T-shirt staring down at the now-empty glass in his hand. His brows were furrowed, irritation etched across every line of his face as those green eyes locked with mine.
‘He does have really beautiful eyes,’ I thought in a daze.
He glared at me like I had thrown myself into him on purpose.
“Great,” he scoffed. “Just great. Can’t you watch where you’re going?”
I stared at him, stunned.
HE was the one who walked into me, but apparently he thought gravity revolved around his ego.
“Did you lose your eyesight as well?” I retorted. “You walked into me, threw your freaking drink all over me and rather than apologize, your shallow mind decided you could get away with it if you're rude enough?”
Time seemed to have slowed at that moment. Even the music sounded distant.
He took a step forward and my body stiffened, my insides twisting in panic. For a brief second, I considered just apologizing and running away.
But my pride wouldn't let me. He was at fault too and if he thought I'd cave in simply because he was tall and had this intimidating aura, then he has another thing coming.
My breath hitched as he towered me. Our bodies were just inches away from colliding.
“You know you're trouble,” his voice was low and husky, which made me painfully realize we were the center of attraction right now. Soft music was playing in the background but no one was dancing. They were all staring at us. “Do you have any idea who I am?”
His aura was intensifying with each passing second. My insides were trembling and knees were seconds away from giving in.
“What does it matter?” I swallowed, forcing myself to regain that confidence as I shoved him out of the way. “Your irritating attitude already says enough about you.”
Just like that, I stormed out of the club. Once the night air hit my face, I let out a breath I didn't realize I was holding.
Gods, he was so scary back there. He must be someone important to have the whole club focus on us like that back there.
“Snap out of it, Lina. Who cares if he's someone important? You're never going to see him again!”
I decided to sit a little on the street bench and just enjoy the night air before heading back to the hotel.
My eyes fluttered shut and I threw my head back, letting my wander off a little.
It had barely been a few seconds when someone joined me on the bench. And then another. And another.
My eyes flew open and I found myself between four men, two on each side. The pungent smell of alcohol made my insides twists,.not to mention the lust in their eyes as they offered me smiles that made my skin crawl.
I jumped in a second,. hoping to just get away from them but one caught my arm and forced me back into the bench.
Pain shot through my butt but I was more focused on getting away from them. His grip on my wrist tightened as I struggled against him.
“L-Let go of me!” I yelled.
“Hush! There is no need to be in such a hurry, sexy. We just want to have a chat with you. Right boys?” He grinned and the rest of them nodded in agreement.
Boys? These were freaking men in their forties! Even fifties!
My arm was grabbed from the other side while another gripped my thighs.
“Please let go of me…” I pleaded desperately, scanning the street for anyone that could help but it was bare.
Goosebumps broke out on my skin like hives as I realized I was truly alone.
“We're not going to hurt you, sweetheart… we just need five minutes. We'll make it worth it, I promise.”
The words made me cringe so hard. But when he leaned in, trying to kiss me, I forced myself backwards, screaming.
The smiles immediately vanished on their faces and I knew I was done for. They were clearly sick of me now.
However, just at that moment, the headlights of a car flashed as the car approached us. I immediately screamed at the top of my lungs.
“Help! Help!!”
Hands slammed over my mouth but it was too late because the car came to a stop. Tears welled in my eyes, stinging from both dread and relief.
The car opened and all forms of hope vanished when I locked eyes with those beautiful set of green eyes.
At this point, I knew I was really screwed. Cause what are the chances that your potential savior turned out to be the jerk you argued with a few minutes ago.
My eyes pleaded with him for help. I really didn't have a choice now. I didn't even care if he just came to gloat. I'd take it all as long as he got these disgusting perverts away from me.
His hands were tucked in his pocket as he walked over to the bench. The men remained still, staring at him.
“Are you waiting for me to tell you to get your filthy hands off her?” The silky rich baritone caught me off guard.
I blinked rapidly, trying to reconcile this with his tone back at the club. Or was my body reacting to the fact that he was saving me and automatically making everything about him pleasant.
Heck, I could swear this intoxicating scent of Jasmines wasn't there before.
“And who the hell do you think you are?” The one gripping my wrist fired.
Those green eyes hardened as he leaned in. “Should I enlighten you?”
I wasn't sure what he did but there was a shift in the air around him and the hands that gripped me instantly released me. I didn't waste a second before running behind him.
They immediately fell on their knees offering all forms of apologies.
“We didn't mean to do it.”
“We were just messing with her. It's nothing serious.”
“She seduced us.”
“Please spare us. It’ll never happen again.”
“Report yourselves to the Alpha first thing in the morning. Don't make me look for you,” he said plainly, straightening up. “If I do, it is going to be a very horrible experience for you. Now get lost.”
I watched them scramble to their feet and dash off.
This was my cue to leave as well. I suddenly realized I really didn't want him to taunt me or remind me of what happened at the club.
So I retreated slowly, hoping to dash off in a second when his voice stopped me.
“Hurrying somewhere?” His head tilted in my direction and I immediately froze. “I see apologizing is not the only thing difficult for you. You can't show appreciation as well.”
I bit my lip hard, refusing to meet his eyes. At this point, mockery was inevitable so I might as well get it over with. Besides, even if he is a jerk, he did save me.
“Thank you.”
“See, trouble? That wasn't
so hard,” His tone was so light that I had to look up.
My heart fluttered for a second as I caught that breath-taking smile on his face.

Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

A Lesson in Magic
Claimed by the Alpha's Love
Four years ago, Fiona's meticulously planned conspiracy turned me from an ordinary omega into a prisoner carrying the weight of a murder charge.
Four years later, I return to a world that has changed beyond recognition.
My best friend Fiona, who is also my stepsister, has become the perfect daughter in my mother's eyes. And my ex-boyfriend, Ethan, is about to hold a high-profile mating ceremony with her.
The love, family bonds, and reputation that I once cherished have all been taken by Fiona.
Just when I had reached my breaking point, questioning the very purpose of my existence, the legendary Alpha Lucas of Moonhaven suddenly appeared in my life.
He is powerful and enigmatic, a figure that all werewolves hold in awe.
Yet, he shows an extraordinary persistence and tenderness towards me.
Is Lucas's appearance a gift from fate, or the start of another conspiracy?
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
The Forbidden Throb
Mine changed in the time it took to open a door.
Behind it: my fiancé Nicholas with another woman.
Three months until our wedding. Three seconds to watch it all burn.
I should have run. Should have screamed. Should have done anything except stand there like a fool.
Instead, I heard the devil himself whisper in my ear:
"If you're willing, I could marry you."
Daniel. The brother I was warned about. The one who made Nicholas look like a choir boy.
He leaned against the wall, watching my world implode.
My pulse thundered. "What?"
"You heard me." His eyes burned into mine. "Marry me, Emma."
But as I stared into those magnetic eyes, I realized something terrifying:
I wanted to say yes to him.
Game on.
The Biker Alpha Who Became My Second Chance Mate
"You're like a sister to me."
Those were the actual words that broke the camel's back.
Not after what just happened. Not after the hot, breathless, soul-shaking night we spent tangled in each other's arms.
I knew from the beginning that Tristan Hayes was a line I shouldn't cross.
He wasn't just anyone, he was my brother's best friend. The man I spent years secretly wanting.
But that night... we were broken. We had just buried our parents. And the grief was too heavy, too real...so I begged him to touch me.
To make me forget. To fill the silence that death left behind.
And he did. He held me like I was something fragile.
Kissed me like I was the only thing he needed to breathe.
Then left me bleeding with six words that burned deeper than rejection ever could.
So, I ran. Away from everything that cost me pain.
Now, five years later, I'm back.
Fresh from rejecting the mate who abused me. Still carrying the scars of a pup I never got to hold.
And the man waiting for me at the airport isn't my brother.
It's Tristan.
And he's not the guy I left behind.
He's a biker.
An Alpha.
And when he looked at me, I knew there was no where else to run to.
The mafia princess return
Accidentally Crossing the Tycoon
Four years ago, the Bailey family faced a devastating financial crisis.
Just when bankruptcy seemed inevitable, a mysterious benefactor emerged, offering salvation with one condition: a contract marriage.
Rumors swirled about this enigmatic man—whispers claimed he was hideously ugly and too ashamed to show his face, possibly harboring dark, twisted obsessions.
Without hesitation, the Baileys sacrificed me to protect their precious biological daughter, forcing me to take her place as a pawn in this cold, calculated arrangement.
Luckily, in those four years, the mysterious husband never asked to meet in person.
Now, in the final year of our arrangement, the husband I've never met is demanding we meet face to face.
But disaster struck the night before my return—drunk and disoriented, I stumbled into the wrong hotel room and ended up sleeping with the legendary financial mogul, Caspar Thornton.
What the hell am I supposed to do now?
The Biker's Fate
I squeezed my eyes shut.
"Dani," he pressed. "Do you get me?"
"No, Austin, I don't," I admitted as I pulled my robe closed again and sat up. "You confuse me."
He dragged his hands down his face. "Tell me what's on your mind."
I sighed. "You're everything my parents warned me against. You're secretive, but you're also honest. I feel wholly protected by you, but then you scare me more than anyone I've ever known. You're a bad boy, but when I dated a so-called good one, he turned out to be the devil, so, yeah, I don't get you because you're not what I expected. You drive me crazier than anyone I've ever met, but then you make me feel complete. I'm feeling things I don't quite know how to process and that makes me want to run. I don't want to give up something that might be really, really good, but I also don't want to be stupid and fall for a boy just because he's super pretty and makes me come."
