Introduction
Lottie is in her second year at MIT, getting a degree in bioengineering. She’s never been distracted by anyone on campus. Not once. Not until he walked into her classroom and her world tilted.
The problem is obvious: he’s her professor, and he’s ten years older.
The problem she didn’t expect: the electric tingles that shot up her arm when their hands brushed. The sudden, aching need to be near him. To breathe him in.
The problem she never imagined: discovering he’s her fated mate.
How will she handle a truth that could upend both their lives? Will she choose the path that protects them both—or will fate force her hand?
I stand there staring at him for a moment, trying to make sense of what just happened. In the two years Jordan and I have been friends, I’ve seen his dad more times than I can count.
But this is the first time we’ve touched. And the second our hands meet, something sparks.
Charlie has been Jordan's best friend for two years. He’s been in and out of Jordan’s house so often it feels like a second home.
But it isn’t until one ordinary afternoon, two years after meeting Jordan’s dad, that everything changes. One accidental touch. One jolt of something he can’t explain.
Charlie doesn’t know what’s happening to him yet. But he’s about to find out. And when he does, he’ll have to choose: step into the truth fate has been quietly weaving around him—or try to break free from a bond that may not let go.
Chapter 1
This story is a spinoff of my book Like No Other, so if you've read that, you're familiar with these terms. If not, please read to understand these terms as they pertain to the storyline. Thank you! And while this story is a spinoff of Like No Other, this story goes more in-depth into the omegaverse. Pheromones, ruts, heats, and slick will be more talked about throughout the novel. There will be graphic depictions of sex, including of a female alpha who has male genitalia and a male omega, and male on male. If that isn't something you're interested in, it's best not to read this story.
This novel emphasizes feeling above all else. It’s about the exhausting, internal battle of wanting something every day when you know the rules say you can’t have it—until fighting it is no longer possible.
In the omegaverse, everyone is broken down into 3 secondary genders: Alpha. Omega, Beta.
Alpha - Dominant: has very strong pheromones that can overpower and subdue omegas and recessive alphas. They can also exude pheromones that sexually arouse omegas. Can impregnate omegas regardless of first gender(male, female, other), as well as beta females. Goes through a rut(a period of sexual arousal during which an alpha can impregnate someone) every month. Although dominant alphas have been known to impregnate outside of this period.
Female alphas have male genitalia to be able to impregnate omegas since they can't get pregnant.
Recessive: has pheromones that can overpower and subdue omegas, as well as sexually arouse them. Can only impregnate omegas. Goes through a rut every 2-3 months.
Omega - Dominant: has very strong pheromones that smell good to alphas. When in heat, alphas go crazy to mate with them. Has a heat period every month. Can get pregnant regardless of the first gender.
Recessive: same as above, except they go through heat every 2-3 months, and it is very rare for a recessive omega male to be able to get pregnant.
Beta - are the norms, they do not exude pheromones, nor can they sense them, have no heat/rut, female betas can be impregnated by a dominant alpha.
Pheromones - This is the scent alphas and omegas give off when they are feeling different kinds of emotions. In general, omegas smell sweet, like flowers, candy, and desserts. Alphas smell earthy, like woods, water, and nature. Those scents can sour when feeling fear or distress.
Heat/Rut - period of time where alphas and omegas are very sexually aroused, managed with either suppressants or an alpha or omega. It can last anywhere from 2 days to a week. Alphas and omegas usually isolate during this time unless they are mated. This is because the pheromones that they exude can attract any unmated alpha or omega. During this period, they are highly susceptible to impregnate and get pregnant.
Knotting - the base of the alpha's dick engorges after ejaculation, usually inside of an omega during a rut. This is done to ensure the semen does what it needs to. It can take anywhere up to an hour to deflate. It cannot be removed without injury before deflation.
Slick - slick is the liquid produced by male omegas from their hole to assist with penetration. Slick is produced when an omega is aroused.
Suppressant - medication used to lessen an alpha's or omega's sensitivity to pheromones and lessen their arousal. If taken too late, they will not work.
The hierarchy of the omegaverse is as follows: Alphas hold prominent positions of power, omegas hold caretaking and teaching positions, and betas make up the labor force, but can work any type of job.

The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."
New to the world of shifters, Draven is human on the run. A beautiful girl who no one could protect. Domonic is the cold Alpha of the Red Wolf Pack. A brotherhood of twelve wolves that live by twelve rules. Rules which they vowed could NEVER be broken.
Especially - Rule Number One - No Mates
When Draven meets Domonic, he knows that she is his mate, but Draven has no idea what a mate is, only that she has fallen in love with a shifter. An Alpha that will break her heart to make her leave. Promising herself, she will never forgive him, she disappears.
But she doesn’t know about the child she’s carrying or that the moment she left, Domonic decided rules were made to be broken - and now will he ever find her again? Will she forgive him?
Alpha Twins' Mate's broken Human
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
The Forbidden Throb
Mine changed in the time it took to open a door.
Behind it: my fiancé Nicholas with another woman.
Three months until our wedding. Three seconds to watch it all burn.
I should have run. Should have screamed. Should have done anything except stand there like a fool.
Instead, I heard the devil himself whisper in my ear:
"If you're willing, I could marry you."
Daniel. The brother I was warned about. The one who made Nicholas look like a choir boy.
He leaned against the wall, watching my world implode.
My pulse thundered. "What?"
"You heard me." His eyes burned into mine. "Marry me, Emma."
But as I stared into those magnetic eyes, I realized something terrifying:
I wanted to say yes to him.
Game on.
The Biker Alpha Who Became My Second Chance Mate
"You're like a sister to me."
Those were the actual words that broke the camel's back.
Not after what just happened. Not after the hot, breathless, soul-shaking night we spent tangled in each other's arms.
I knew from the beginning that Tristan Hayes was a line I shouldn't cross.
He wasn't just anyone, he was my brother's best friend. The man I spent years secretly wanting.
But that night... we were broken. We had just buried our parents. And the grief was too heavy, too real...so I begged him to touch me.
To make me forget. To fill the silence that death left behind.
And he did. He held me like I was something fragile.
Kissed me like I was the only thing he needed to breathe.
Then left me bleeding with six words that burned deeper than rejection ever could.
So, I ran. Away from everything that cost me pain.
Now, five years later, I'm back.
Fresh from rejecting the mate who abused me. Still carrying the scars of a pup I never got to hold.
And the man waiting for me at the airport isn't my brother.
It's Tristan.
And he's not the guy I left behind.
He's a biker.
An Alpha.
And when he looked at me, I knew there was no where else to run to.
The mafia princess return
Accidentally Crossing the Tycoon
Four years ago, the Bailey family faced a devastating financial crisis.
Just when bankruptcy seemed inevitable, a mysterious benefactor emerged, offering salvation with one condition: a contract marriage.
Rumors swirled about this enigmatic man—whispers claimed he was hideously ugly and too ashamed to show his face, possibly harboring dark, twisted obsessions.
Without hesitation, the Baileys sacrificed me to protect their precious biological daughter, forcing me to take her place as a pawn in this cold, calculated arrangement.
Luckily, in those four years, the mysterious husband never asked to meet in person.
Now, in the final year of our arrangement, the husband I've never met is demanding we meet face to face.
But disaster struck the night before my return—drunk and disoriented, I stumbled into the wrong hotel room and ended up sleeping with the legendary financial mogul, Caspar Thornton.
What the hell am I supposed to do now?
The Biker's Fate
I squeezed my eyes shut.
"Dani," he pressed. "Do you get me?"
"No, Austin, I don't," I admitted as I pulled my robe closed again and sat up. "You confuse me."
He dragged his hands down his face. "Tell me what's on your mind."
I sighed. "You're everything my parents warned me against. You're secretive, but you're also honest. I feel wholly protected by you, but then you scare me more than anyone I've ever known. You're a bad boy, but when I dated a so-called good one, he turned out to be the devil, so, yeah, I don't get you because you're not what I expected. You drive me crazier than anyone I've ever met, but then you make me feel complete. I'm feeling things I don't quite know how to process and that makes me want to run. I don't want to give up something that might be really, really good, but I also don't want to be stupid and fall for a boy just because he's super pretty and makes me come."
Danielle Harris is the daughter of an overprotective police chief and has led a sheltered life. As a kindergarten teacher, she's as far removed from the world of Harleys and bikers as you could get, but when she's rescued by the sexy and dangerous Austin Carver, her life is changed forever.
Although Austin 'Booker' Carver is enamored by the innocent Dani, he tries to keep the police chief's daughter at arm's length. But when a threat is made from an unexpected source, he finds himself falling hard and fast for the only woman who can tame his wild heart.
Will Booker be able to find the source of the threat before it's too late?
Will Dani finally give her heart to a man who's everything she's been warned about?
The Alpha King's Human Mate
“I have waited nine years for you. That’s nearly a decade since I’ve felt this emptiness inside me. Part of me began to wonder if you didn’t exist or you’d already died. And then I found you, right inside my own home.”
He used one of his hands to stroke my cheek and tingles erupted everywhere.
“I’ve spent enough time without you and I will not let anything else keep us apart. Not other wolves, not my drunken father who’s barely holding himself together the past twenty years, not your family – and not even you.”
Clark Bellevue has spent her entire life as the only human in the wolf pack - literally. Eighteen years ago, Clark was the accidental result of a brief affair between one of the most powerful Alphas in the world and a human woman.
