Guarding the Gate 100 Meters Underground
Hades · Completed · 7.6k Words
Introduction
When the investigation team arrived, the leader was my old signal corpsman. He pretended not to know me and ordered his guards to drag me out like a piece of dead weight.
They shoved a young lad from the Rex family into the breach as bait, and while everyone screamed in horror, no one dared to move.
So, I jumped down to fish the kid out, using a bottle of beer to force back the tentacles reaching from the dark.
Then, I pulled on that dusty old uniform and pressed my palm against the master console—all thirty-two security protocols verified instantly.
The lead technician collapsed in shock: "This clearance level is restricted to the Chief Architect only."
He was right. I am.
The thing I’ve kept locked behind that door for a century woke up, whispering: "What do you want?"
I said: "Dinner."
Chapter 1
Dry, stale, tasting like a mouthful of sand—that is the taste of the air I’d been breathing for a hundred years, three hundred meters beneath the Nevada desert.
The auxiliary supply station for the "Coffin" facility was essentially a massive metal tin can. Every five minutes, a cooling pipe overhead would drop a bead of icy water, striking the armrest of my creaky, broken recliner with rhythmic precision. I’m Cain West, though that name holds no currency down here. Here, I’m just a serial number—or rather, a corpse that the system hadn't even bothered to delete.
I shook the aluminum can in my hand. Another cheap bottle of "Blues" beer; the carbonation had long since evaporated, leaving it tasting like cold, fermented sweat. The TV sat on a rusted, rotating stand. Most of the screen flickered with irritating static, save for the occasional flash of an old news loop.
It was footage from a century ago, black-and-white, etched with heavy film grain. Arthur Rex stood on a podium, radiant and arrogant, the medals on his chest reflecting the deceitful gold of that era. His confident face distorted on the screen, his voice thin and shrill from magnetic tape degradation: "We have sealed away the fear! Humanity shall welcome an eternal dawn!"
I sneered—a cold grunt squeezed from the depths of my chest. I crunched the can into a grotesque, twisted shape; the metal edge bit into my palm, but I felt nothing. I flicked it with a casual motion; it landed precisely in the pile of garbage in the corner, a mountain of thousands of identical metallic empty shells, a monument to the wasteland of my wasted life.
Time to work. It was my ritual, even in this place the world had forgotten. I snubbed out the last of the beer foam with my heel and stood. My joints groaned like grinding teeth. I dragged my feet toward the end of the corridor, where a circular steel door awaited. The geometric patterns engraved around the frame had lost their luster, but the tremor that chilled the marrow remained—it was alive. Or perhaps, it was a cage for something that was.
I extended my right hand. The calluses on my palm felt like sandpaper. I closed my eyes and pressed my hand slowly against the cold lock zone.
Beep.
The electronic prompt sounded ancient, almost asthmatic. A faint green light flickered once, like a failing heartbeat. The tumblers shifted and locked.
A ghostly white mist seeped from the door seal, like corrosive silk, silently licking the surrounding metal walls. The metal hissed, developing microscopic depressions. I was used to it. I pulled a roll of yellowed, heavy-duty sealing tape from my pocket, tore a strip with mechanical indifference, and jammed it over the crack.
The tape turned black as it corroded. In three days, I’d have to peel it off and do it again.
A piercing metal-on-metal screech echoed from the tracks above. The automated supply drone. It hovered at the maintenance bay, spat out three cases of rations and a few packs of beer, and the cold, mechanical voice boomed through the empty corridor: "Supply delivery complete. Site status: Abandoned. No personnel on-site. System entering automatic dormant mode."
Personnel had been wiped from the books long ago. In the world’s archives, this place didn't exist, and the people here had died in the river of history with the "Sealing" a century ago. I was just a ghost, guarding a grave that didn't even need a guard.
I hauled the supply case back, collapsed into my chair, and was just about to crack open a third beer when the entire space began to quake violently.
This wasn't an earthquake.
A moth-eaten radar screen in the corner crackled with electrical discharge before flashing three crimson dots. They were piercing through the strata like three greedy drills, heading straight for us.
The can in my hand dropped to the floor with a dull thud. I couldn't remember the last time I’d stood up this fast. My muscles spasmed from years of atrophy, but I held my stance.
I pulled a rusted crowbar from a secret compartment beneath the chair, my knuckles turning white.
"Finally," I whispered, the sound scraping like sandpaper. "A hundred years, not even a mouse has dared to crawl in. Looks like I have guests today coming to demolish my house."

With my heart in pieces, I sought solace in the last place I expected—my Alpha's arms. One night turned into a dangerous entanglement, and now my Alpha refuses to let me go. As the Alpha’s obsession grows, I'm caught in a web of desire and fear.

“There are no limits between us,” he chuckled, the mirth sparkling in his gorgeous eyes. “And all of this stems from the night you gave me both pain and pleasure. I’m simply returning the favor.”
He took two steps forward, and I stepped back. “But…” The memory of what I had done filled me with fear, and I knew I had to get out of there. “I…”
“No, Firecat.” He placed an index finger on my lips. “This will take your mind off that son of a bitch.” His strong hands pulled me by the waist until I felt his hard manhood.
From Sacrificed Slave to the Dragon King's Obsession
His fangs glinted as he gripped my chin, forcing me to meet his gaze. Dragon scales shimmered along his neck, breath scorching my skin.
"Your Majesty... I beg—" He shoved me onto the bed. Silk tore with a sharp rip, cold air rushing over my exposed body.
"Scared?" He smirked, palm sliding down my waist, fingers tracing slow, burning circles. "Yet you shiver... not from cold."
I lunged for the candlestick, but he caught my wrist, pinning it overhead. His knee forced my legs apart.
"When your father gave you to me," his lips brushed my ear, voice a dark rumble, "you were already mine."

The Contract Wife: Marriage Of Malice
He didn't finish. He didn't need to.
I didn't tell him to stop.
Instead, my fingers curled into his shirt, clutching the fabric as though it was my only anchor. Something in him snapped—something he had been holding back for too long. His mouth found mine in a kiss that wasn't tender, but hungry, desperate.
I gasped into him, his hand sliding up to cup my jaw, holding me as if afraid I might vanish.
"You drive me insane," he breathed against my mouth, his lips trailing to my throat. "I can't lose you, Ella. Not you."
My head fell back, a soft sound escaping me as his fingers memorized my waist. My anger melted beneath his desperation.
"James..." I whispered, more plea than protest.
His hand caught mine, fingers threading together tightly. "I'll bring him back. I swear it. Just... don't turn away from me. Please."
The word please—low, ragged, almost broken—undid me more than anything else could have.

Ruined : You will always be mine.
“Fuckkk”, I couldn’t help but scream.
“You need to learn to be obedient” he said as he kept thrusting into me. When I felt his hands on my clit my body shook.
“Asher please, it’s too much”.
“No. if I really wanted to punish you, I would give you all of me”, he said against my ears and my entire body froze. Suddenly he moved and I was standing again. This man was insane.
I felt him behind me. “Ten Lashes for your disobedience”, he said
“Asher please”,
“No”. His voice was cold and void of any emotion.

The Alpha's Stripper Mate
"What?" It was out of my mouth before I could stop it. I did not wait for him to answer me, I walked toward him.
"Dance on my lap."
My head screamed at me to turn around and run. But my whole body responded to his command.
"Yes, Alpha," I pulled my dress over my body, it dropped over my head and fell to the ground behind me. I was left in nothing but my matching bra and thong. My hands covered my chest on reflex.
"Let me see."
My hands dropped to my sides.
I lowered myself into his lap, facing him. His eyes peered into mine, and I could feel his hot breath fan my face. His dick responded to all my moves, hardening against my now-moist vagina. I swallowed hard, allowing my lips to part in a ragged breath. His hands trailed up to my waist.
"No touching."
