Chapter 1
The night sky was as dark and gloomy as Giselle’s life. She had hoped that with time her life would be different, better and maybe she would find the love she longed for. Her life took a U – turn that night and it hasn’t been the same ever since.
Tonight was no different from every other night that she spent in this villa. Though the bed was big enough for two, the other side was only ever occupied one night of the week.
Sleep finally calmed Giselle’s mind and she started to give in to her body’s need for sleep. It was already the middle of the night when Giselle stirred, seeming to be immersed in a dream. In her dream, a man’s well – toned body was pressing down on hers, and she could not help but tremble from the heat caused by his skin on hers.
She felt him spread her legs and sink inside her “Uuugggghhhh…” Giselle could not help but open her eyes because of the throbbing pain between her legs. It was then that she realized that it was not a dream but her bitter reality, one that she had once longed for but now loathed.
The man who only came back once in a week and one who never bothered to know about her if it wasn’t for that one night in the week clause, was pressing down on her at that very moment, and the warm mellow yellow light from the lamp that was on her bedside cast a soft glow on him.
His naked upper body was well toned, and his arms were slender, which made him look delicate yet strong. Giselle was stunned ‘Isn’t today Friday!! Why is he back today?’ but her shock lasted for only a few seconds.
“Are you finally awake now?” The man’s voice was low, but it held a fearsome chill with a hint of lust and desire. Seeing Giselle staring at him with wide eyes excited him, her ‘deer – in – the – headlights’ look was not enough to make him stop his movements, he pushed harder, and leaned over to kiss her open mouth.
His every move and every action portrayed his thoughts, this was just sex to him, just a routine that he followed to quench his physical needs.
The next morning Giselle was awakened by the rumbling of a car downstairs. She sat up from the bed with her arms clutching the quilt tight and her shock only lasted for a few seconds as sounds came from the kitchen, she ran out of the room and saw a slender figure busy in the kitchen.
The man was wearing casual clothes unlike his usual formal wear, he had a long waist and slender legs, though he looked lean his energy was anything but, last night and every other night he visited Giselle was proof enough of his strength.
Giselle blushed and was a little embarrassed when she thought of the man’s actions from last night. Though he was always rough on her, her body seemed to love his roughness, the way her body molded to his every time he pu… ‘What am I thinking so early in the morning!’ Giselle mentally chided herself to bring her mind out of the gutter.
Colton Black was busy in the kitchen making breakfast, a rare sight to behold as he came out of the kitchen. He frowned when he saw Giselle standing there in her nightdress, his eyes raked over her curves and the hunger in him ignited yet again but he had work to do, so gritting his teeth “Why don’t you freshen up and change out of your clothes”.
Giselle looked down at herself only to realize that she was dressed in her silk nightgown that was askew from last night’s activities “Oh, okay”. Her cheeks tinted a beautiful shade of pink as her silk nightdress exposed her arms and thighs, giving off a sensual vibe that was enticing Colton.
She did not bother wearing any underwear as she didn’t expect him to still be in the house when she woke up, so her traitorous nipples were saluting him as her mind played last night’s events. She felt embarrassed at her thoughts, blushing, she hurried to the bedroom.
Giselle’s shyness amused Colton as he had seen all of her in her naked glory and yet she blushes like a virgin. After she finished freshening up, she was dressed in a green summer dress. Colton had already set the breakfast and had been sitting at the table, and Giselle sat down opposite him.
The pancakes and scrambled eggs made by him looked good and had an amazing fragrance. Giselle ate the eggs relishing each and every bite, but neither of them spoke a word. The only sound filling the silence was of knife and fork colliding on the plates.
Giselle was used to this kind of life as Colton only regarded her as an unwanted responsibility and made sure that she was aware of what he thought of her with his actions and the few sparse words that he used to communicate with her.
After eating, Giselle carried the dinner plate to the kitchen and accidentally hit her knee on the door panel. When she came out, she hissed in pain gritting her teeth to bear the pain.
Colton happened to see her getting hit, he took a band-aid from the cabinet and handed it to her without uttering a single word.
“Thank you” Giselle knew that he was always cold, but she still felt a little disappointed at his silence ‘What did I do so bad to him that he doesn’t even feel that I am worthy of his words?’ That was a question she was going to get an answer to and soon.
His cold and aloof attitude towards her was breaking her heart bit by bit. He didn’t even treat her as human coz humans show emotions to other humans. If her husband had considered her human, he would be squatting down and gently taking care of her wound just like a human would.
She and Colton were like two strangers living under one roof, it would be apt to say that they were more of roommates than husband and wife. Colton did not show any sort of emotion towards her, he simply turned around, grabbed his suit jacket, and put it on.
Giselle stared at Colton’s backside ‘He does have a sexy ass! And boy oh boy… those pants should be a sin to wear!’ She should have been ashamed of the way she was ogling his body while all that he did was treat her as nothing more than a booty call!
“Don’t forget to wash the dishes after eating and don’t let the sink fill up with unwashed dishes” Colton’s harsh words managed to bring Giselle back to the present and the sound of the door closing reverberated through the house before she could react.
Giselle kept squatting in the same place with her mouth agape. What Colton did last night, made her feel sore physically but his indifference towards her… started to freeze her heart. The one hope she held on to from the very beginning, was now no more than a drop of water in an ocean.
The fact that Colton was only forced to marry her by her father, and that he never really loved her, nor did he ever consider her as someone he could look at without feeling a sense of loss.
Colton had even asked her to sign a contract with him when they got married, something that she thought would be nullified by him once he learned to love her.
The contract had stipulated clearly what kind of living expenses both parties would share between them, the one clause that she hoped would never be a problem was that of not having children during the duration of their marriage which was four years, and they were supposed to divorce as soon as they hit that four – year mark.
Though the contract was signed by Giselle, she was naïve enough to think that she could warm Colton’s cold heart and make a place for herself in his life.
Well, things never go as we plan, right? Giselle too was stupid enough to believe that Colton would change, unexpectedly, three years into the marriage and his attitude was still cold.
Though they shared a bed once a week he hardly spoke more than a few words with her. To Giselle, marriage was turning into nothing more than a ridiculously stupid thing!

The mafia princess return
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
The War God Alpha's Arranged Bride
Yet Alexander made his decision clear to the world: “Evelyn is the only woman I will ever marry.”
Invisible To Her Bully
My Possessive Alpha Twins For Mate
My drunk stepfather remained indifferent, his weight suffocating, making it hard to breathe as my heart raced.
Suddenly, the door slammed open, and two figures burst in.
"Get off her!" a deafening roar echoed.
I didn't expect the twin brothers who'd bullied me at school to come charging in like gods to save me.
After my grandmother passed, I had to move in with my mom and stepdad, who treated me like a servant. I prayed every day for my 18th birthday to come, so l could leave and escape this broken home.
However, on my first day at my new school, l encountered the legendary twins everyone feared.
To make matters worse, the Moon Goddess revealed they were both my mates!
After helping me out with my stepdad, my twin mate cornered me, played with my hair, and whispered possessively, "You belong to us, our little mate..."
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

The Biker Alpha Who Became My Second Chance Mate
"You're like a sister to me."
Those were the actual words that broke the camel's back.
Not after what just happened. Not after the hot, breathless, soul-shaking night we spent tangled in each other's arms.
I knew from the beginning that Tristan Hayes was a line I shouldn't cross.
He wasn't just anyone, he was my brother's best friend. The man I spent years secretly wanting.
But that night... we were broken. We had just buried our parents. And the grief was too heavy, too real...so I begged him to touch me.
To make me forget. To fill the silence that death left behind.
And he did. He held me like I was something fragile.
Kissed me like I was the only thing he needed to breathe.
Then left me bleeding with six words that burned deeper than rejection ever could.
So, I ran. Away from everything that cost me pain.
Now, five years later, I'm back.
Fresh from rejecting the mate who abused me. Still carrying the scars of a pup I never got to hold.
And the man waiting for me at the airport isn't my brother.
It's Tristan.
And he's not the guy I left behind.
He's a biker.
An Alpha.
And when he looked at me, I knew there was no where else to run to.
