Introduction
Infact, it wasn't anywhere close to being perfect. But she always had hope and tried to make things work. She had expected it to last forever, no matter how bad it was.
But her hope came shattering down when he dropped the divorce papers on the table right in front of her.
"Sign them." He had said coldly.
That was five years ago.
Now Alexandra was back, as the CEO of the fast rising clothing and apparels company, Velvet Vixen. This time, she came for revenge on the man who had broken her heart into several unmendable pieces.
But she wasn't alone anymore.
"Mommy, we saw a man who Jace looks like." She was back with two tiny accomplices in tow.
Liam wanted to be the father of his kids and change back to the old times.
Would he be able to accomplish his mission of making Alexandra fall in love with him again?
Would Alexandra give in to this man who had once broken her heart and all the promises he made to her before?
Would Jace and Jade accept their unknown father back?
Chapter 1
She had been sitting on the chair for about three hours now, while staring at the wall clock as it ticked away.
The time was 12: 59. In one more second, it would clock one and Liam wasn't still home.
She sighed, this wasn't the first time or the second, not even the fifth as she had lost count of how many times he had repeated this.
She began to think about how the past few months had gone by and how she had survived it.
When it clocked one, Alexandra stood up silently from her chair and went inside the room, leaving the sumptuous dinner she had prepared on the table.
It was her 25th birthday and she had dared to hope Liam would be home to celebrate it with her, afterall he was her husband. But he had not come home and she was so sure he didn't even remember.
She cried for a long time till she fell asleep. It was her routine to cry and cry all over again till she felt she couldn't breath and took it as her signal to sleep off. By the time she would wake up, it would be a new day and she would have strength to move on again.
She was so deep in her sleep and didn't wake up when Liam got into the bed beside her at 3am. Feeling tipsy from the alcohol, he found Alexandra so beautiful as she slept.
"Hey..." He whispered. Her lashes moved for a second and she snuggled more into the thick sheets that covered her.
"Alexa.." Liam's thick voice was heard again, followed by a tap and Alexandra opened her eyes.
"You're back?" She muttered sleepily as she slowly ran her fingers over her eyes.
"Happy birthday." She heard him say and her sleepiness immediately cleared off as she stared at him wide-eyed.
"What?" She gasped in shock.
"Happy birthday, Alexa." Liam said tipsily and she almost smiled, until she realized he was drunk.
"Are you drunk? You should go to..." Her words were interrupted by Liam as he placed his lips on hers, kissing her hungrily.
Alexandra felt shocked by his sudden actions and tried to push him off since she knew he was drunk, but on a second thought she gave up, deciding it wouldn't hurt to have a romantic night with her husband on her birthday.
She returned the kiss passionately, wrapping her hands round his neck as he made her lie down on the bed again.
His impatient hands quickly took off her nightgown and since she was wearing anything underneath, his hands moved towards her br**st immediately.
Alexandra could hear her brain screaming the word 'stop' to her but her body was already conquered by Liam's seductions. The moment he entered into her, her ears lost all connections to her brain.

Liam woke up the next morning with a banging headache and suddenly started regretting why he drank last night.
He felt Alexa moved beside him and all the memories of last night rushed into his head in a very fast motion, aggravating the headache.
"Fvck!" He muttered, wondering why he had made that mistake of drinking last night and that led to him sleeping with Alexandra.
He got into the bath and took a cold shower bath to clear his head of the dizziness. Closing his eyes, he sighed and rested on the glass wall slowly, brushing his hair backwards with his hands as he remembered the discussion with his lawyer yesterday morning.
Alexandra would be so shocked to hear the news and she would hate him for this. Not that he cared anyway, she could go to h*ll or wherever she wanted.
He dressed up and left the house immediately after bathing, driving to his company.
"Good morning sir." His assistant, Eugene greeted him immediately he walked into the office.
"Did you receive any package from Eric?" Liam asked as he took his seat.
"Yes, sir." Eugene answered and dropped papers on the desk right in front of Liam.
Liam read the papers slowly as a smirk spread on his lips. He took a pen from the pack in his table and signed his name on it.
"I'll like you to get this to Alexandra immediately."
"Madam?" Eugene asked, his eyes caught the heading on the paper and that definitely spelt Divorce Agreement.
~~*~
Alexandra opened her eyes as the rays of the sun spread on her face sharply. She looked to her left and was a little bit shocked when she didn't see Liam there. Her body was half covered with the duvet as she got up and checked the bathroom, he wasn't there.
"What did I expect?" She muttered, hitting herself mentally for falling to his cheap tricks last night.
On the table next to the bed, she saw the oral contraceptive which Liam had dropped for her and she scoffed, angrily flushing the tablet into the toilet seat.
"Fvck you, Liam." She muttered angrily.
She heard the doorbell ring and she wore her nightgown immediately, rushing downstairs to open the door. Her expression changed the moment she saw it was Eugene.
"Good morning, Mrs Jordans." He greeted, very politely. She wasn't close to any of Liam's workers. Infact, Eugene was the only one she knew well, she only met the others on very important occasions where her presence was needed to make an impression. Other than that, Liam saw no reason to make her an acquaintance with any of his workers.
"What is it, Eugene?" Alexa asked curtly, she knew Eugene only came when there was something Liam forgot at home or when he needed something from her and couldn't just call her on the phone since he hated hearing her voice.
"The boss asked me to pass this on to you and he said you must sign it." Eugene said, making emphasis on the word 'must.'
"And what is that?" Alexa asjed as the collected the document from him, opening it without hesitation.
Her heart shattered into a million pieces the moment she saw what was inside.
"A divorce?" She asked, with shaky voice. Eugene bit his lips slowly as he had no courage to answer her questions. Thank God the words were boldly written on it, so she shouldn't think she was dreaming.
"Tell Liam I'm not signing this."

The Human Among Wolves
My stomach twisted, but he wasn’t finished.
"You're just a pathetic little human," Zayn said, his words deliberate, each one hitting like a slap. "Spreading your legs for the first guy who bothers to notice you."
Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
I was so, so stupid.

The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."
New to the world of shifters, Draven is human on the run. A beautiful girl who no one could protect. Domonic is the cold Alpha of the Red Wolf Pack. A brotherhood of twelve wolves that live by twelve rules. Rules which they vowed could NEVER be broken.

I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
